Lake Placid Area, Dukes Cabin-Dog Friendly!

Located between Lake Placid and Saranac lake, with Scarface Mountain only 200 yards away. Two bedroom cabin (King and Queen) with a large fenced back yard with a fire pit. This house is dog friendly with two large doggie doors to back yard. We do have an additional $75 cleaning fee for up to two dogs. Lots of parking and additional parking for trailers. A pontoon boat for rent. Nice back yard lounge area and a BBQ for grilling. The house is located on a main road there will be some road noise.

The Brookside Cabin

Our Cabin is nestled in the woods of the Adirondack Mountains. The Cabin is behind our family home. We are on a country road close to two towns. Our area offers many amenities such as fishing, hiking, boating, golf, hunting , wine tasting, leaf peeping. The cabin is heated by a wood stove and is the only heat source. “Wood Stove will injure a small child. Fast moving water in brook. Children 7 and up is ok with pre approval. The outside shower is heated, hot water available mid April -Nov.

We all loved staying there. The house is not big but the layout is so practical and well done that it doesn’t matter - the house is one of the cleanest we stayed at, the kitchen is very well equipped, the linens and towels are abundant and very comfortable, the decor is amazing, there are tons of games and Dunja left snacks and water as a welcome… I usually don’t consider rebooking because I like to explore new places but I can definitely consider staying there again and again

Glamping in the Captain’s Quarters

Deanna was a wonderful host and thought of every minor detail. Everything was very organized. Very peaceful location for camping. We loved having access to a hot tub with a beautiful sunset view of the Ottawa river. We also opted to use the kayaks which was a very fun and unforgettable experience. We look forward to returning in the future :)

Iron Peaks Lodge- Near Whiteface, dogs welcome!

We stayed at Iron Peaks Lodge for a long weekend (4 adults, toddler and dog). It was the perfect place to relax after long days out in the snow. We enjoyed the comfortable family room with wood burning stove, fully stocked kitchen and ADK decor throughout. Aisha was responsive and anticipated all of our needs with the detailed guestbook. Also, the photos on the listing don’t quite capture how spacious the lodge actually is. We were pleasantly surprised by how much space we had to enjoy. We would definitely stay again!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The views were stunning from the moment you pulled into the driveway and from every window in the house! It was family friendly, our kids loved this house, the kids book shelf and the closet of toys and kid amenities! Anna was super responsive from check in day to check out! We were very happy with our stay and not only are we ready to go back, our kids are already asking for another vacation there!! Highly recommend!

RV Camping by the Lake in Colchester, Vermont!

We loved our stay at William’s place! It was the perfect weekend for a doing a little glamping, and this spot offered everything we needed: a fire-pit, a cozy camper, and a great location. You’re within walking distance to the beach at Mallett’s Bay and a short drive away from downtown Burlington. The campground itself was a little packed when we stayed, but most folks kept to themselves. Other than that, great experience!

We were looking at different colleges. The place was perfect the experience convince my daughter to go to SUNY Potsdam Crane school of music. Elizabeth was a great host. There was nothing she forgot and the communication was within minutes. like you’re living in your own home.

We loved our weekend away at Leah's place. I loved the setting and we took advantage of all the house has to offer. Peaceful mornings on the porch looking at the mountains with a cup of coffee. Watched a movie in the evening on the projector downstairs, relaxed in the hot tub. Played pool. The beds were all extremely comfortable and the place was warm and cozy. High quality sheets and towels. The amenities were excellent. My kids loved playing in the woods, the tree house and exploring. We saw deer roaming in the morning. The bathrooms were gorgeous. I had a wonderful easy experience in the home, the host was extremely responsive. The fireplace didn't work the first night but she sent a handy man the next morning to fix it. She extended our check out time per a request. Only a few notes for some travelers. I traveled with my Aunt and parents, my dad uses a cane and my Aunt is nearing 80. They both loved the place but it is not handicapped accessible (shower, muddy steep driveway).
