We loved this cabin! Everything was updated but felt cozy and has an authentic Adirondack feel. The hot tub was a hit after long ski days and the beds were very comfortable. Stacy is a great host and this is an awesome home!

Absolutely gorgeous and felt right at home from the minute we stepped on the porch. Ona made us feel so welcome with thoughtful touches. Incredible place for some badly need R&R. Thank you for sharing.

We loved our long weekend stay at The Hideaway! The house and property are beautiful. With two families enjoying the space, it was really nice to have two bedrooms and a bathroom on the bottom level, and two bedrooms and bathroom on the 2nd level - made for two nice family suite areas and then a huge common space on the main floor. Leslie had plenty of wood ready for us to use in the fireplace and was very proactive about de-icing the walkway (it was a snowy weekend)! Would highly recommend staying here - and we will be back! Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

We absolutely loved this log cabin! It’s a cozy, small cabin but was perfect for just my partner and I (plus our boxer dog). Check in was a breeze and everything was super clean upon arrival. The properly is extremely private and there are semi cleared hiking trails nearby (my dog absolutely loved it here- just be sure to brush/wipe pups down after your walk in the woods). The king bed was ridiculously comfortable and we had amazing sleep in the cabin. The jacuzzi hot tub was a wonderful addition and I was so glad to try it after a day of hiking and sightseeing. It’s a short drive to Main Street / Mirror Lake to visit shops, restaurants. We arrived in April and some of the local establishments were not yet open for the season, but still we had a lot of options for eating meals out. The host was super responsive to my messages and we appreciated all of the cabin’s thoughtful touches. We would love to return again soon. Thank you!!

This was a great spacious space. Right on the lake. Everything was lovely would definitely stay again. The only issue was there’s a pizza parlor above and there is some noise from there, but it wasn’t really much of a distraction.

No complaints about our stay! My husband is very picky about where he stays and as we pulled out of the driveway he said “you did a great job finding this one!” House was spotless upon entry and had helpful instructions everywhere about how to run appliances. We loved the hot tub after a long day walking around Lake Placid. Our dog was very happy too, there was lots of room in the house for her to explore. Cassandra was always very responsive to anything I needed. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back someday!

An incredibly beautiful home! It was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Doug is a fantastic host. We asked if we could get some firewood and within ten minutes he brought some to the house for us. He even installed a baby gate at the top of the stairs so our little guy was safe. This is by far one of our favorite rentals in Wilmington. We are looking forward to coming back soon!

Our stay at Canary Cabin was truly wonderful! It’s a perfect private location that is close to town and anything you may need! The place was clean and so many details made it cozy and comfortable. The kitchenette was perfect for a small breakfast and dinner. The hot tub was the best way to end the day. Thank you Amy for your hospitality! We will be back!

The house was cheerful and pristine. It was well stocked and the linens & bedding were great quality. The house size was perfect for 5 or 6 people and we enjoyed it immensely. The house was very clean and well kept. There was a nice outside deck area with a fire pit and chairs, and we found it very pleasant.

Our second stay at Fox Hollow. Great location next to town. Beds and baths worked well for us. Access to trails and sledding out the back of the property was great. The front porch puts you in a special place and mood. J

Great place to stay if skiing at whiteface! Robert and Nancy were extremely helpful and quick to respond. Would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway to lake placid.

This place is wonderful! The minute we walked in the door we felt right at home. We stayed during February and took advantage of the snowy conditions in the area. After playing outdoors, we were able to come "home" and get warm and cozy. Joanne has done a beautiful job decorating. It has everything you need for cooking if you prefer that to eating out. It's also close to all the fun activities. We loved it and are hoping to stay again this summer.

Our first time at Lynda's home in the woods. Place was exactly how described! Was very cozy and we had everything we needed for our stay. Great location, very private and close to skiing and town. We enjoyed to sauna every day. We got to relax and really enjoy ourselves. Lynda was very quickly to respond and was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely plan to go back, we loved it!

Joe’s Cabin was a perfect space for our family! Long driveway was perfect for sledding with our 3 year old, we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere yet so close to the main street in lake placid. Skiing was great and not a far drive from whiteface either. Amazing views out of the living room windows of the mountains in the distance. Snowed every day we were there and there was a snowplow that always made his way down the road and driveway. Joe was a great host and very accommodating. Loved being able to bring our dog with us as well!

Had a great week at Chad’s property. Felt right at home and had all of the amenities we needed for our family and dog. Close to downtown, plenty of space, clean and he was very easy to communicate with and fast to respond. Appreciate it!

-We enjoyed the cottage feel. -Even though it was close to the other cottage, we enjoyed our own space and privacy. -The bed and pillows were very comfortable— I’m hard to please and usually bring my own pillow, but I forgot it. -Our dog was happy that he could go outside, sniff around, and do his business in the fenced in yard. -One suggestion is to dial back the room freshener. We are both scent sensitive. There were some nice smells— pine and cinnamon— but it was a lot for those of us with allergies and finicky noses. Don’t let that turn you away! A plug-in can be removed! -This rental is a class act— tasteful and practical. We loved it, will recommend it to friends, and will probably book it again! Thank you, Sharon, for paying attention to the details. They really matter. Nice job!

Perfect place to stay while hiking in Placid. Also, the hot tub is the perfect way to end a long day of hiking. We have stayed at phoebes place twice now and it was clean, we had everything we needed and phoebe is very kind!

The condo was great! We stayed for a ski weekend and enjoyed the beautiful view of mirror lake, access to the indoor pool and hot tub and easy walk to shops.

Overall pleasurable experience, plenty for children and adults to do. Warm and inviting staff, their willingness to assist was above and beyond. The suite was amazing!!!

5 Star accommodations in every sense! So much to offer in one place. The view from living room at night looked like the scene from a movie. Everything was perfect! Will definitely stay here again!

I had an amazing stay at Tim's cabin at Whiteface Lodge! The cabin was exactly as described—cozy, clean, and perfectly equipped for a relaxing getaway. Tim was the best host, very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The resort itself was fantastic, with so much to do that we never even had to leave! We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, the amenities, and the peaceful atmosphere. I can’t wait to come back again for another unforgettable stay. Highly recommend!

Great set up within Whiteface Lodge with full access to the resort and amenities. The full 3 bedrooms and baths was so nice for our family.

Great stay! Communication was excellent, check in was a breeze, and the place was awesome. Excellent resort—the pool, ice skating, smores, could go on and on. Highly recommend!
