Beautiful little spot to stay only minutes walk away from Lake Macquarie. We had a fantastic time here!

Our holiday at Helen's lakeside property was absolutely fantastic! The location could not have been more perfect, right in front of a serene lake with picture-perfect scenery. The view from the property was breathtaking, providing the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and memorable stay. The spacious outdoor deck allowed us to fully enjoy the natural beauty around us, whether we were having meals, playing games, or simply soaking in the view. Inside, the house was just as impressive—spacious, immaculate, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was clear that Helen has taken great care in maintaining the property, and it made our family feel right at home. What made this holiday even more special was the fact that it was a multi-generational trip with our children and grandchildren. I had the best time staying at the Cosy Urban Retreat. The home was absolutely amazing; such a stunning home. It was so clean and had everything you needed provided - (a home away from home). It was very relaxing with coffee shops, take-away stores, local meals within the same street. It was perfect; especially walking my dog around the large park. Louise was absolutely amazing. Such a lovely, kind and helpful host. Louise was very considerate and ensured I checked in okay; especially after the long trip I had. I have told my friends and family about this Air BnB and have highly recommended this accomodation. I’ll only be staying at this Air BnB when I’m travelling to Newcastle. It is very hard to beat; it’s just absolutely perfect! Thanks so much Louise, you’re an awesome host.

Great place to stay.

Great stay, clean, tidy and felt homely. Hosts were very helpful and accommodating. Easy to get to most places within 5 minutes by car. Would stay again when we come to Caves Beach.

Great home for our weekend getaway. Very close to lots of thing's to do. The home was perfect and the dogs loved the big backyard. Daniel & Sarah were very helpful and we very much enjoyed our time at their home.

Lovely house in a nice, quiet location, we enjoyed our stay. The house had everything you need for a group of friends with plenty of space indoors and outside. Would be great for kids too.

Beautiful home, great location, clean and tidy and had 5 seperate beds which was a rare find in the area. The pool was a lovely touch. The host was very friendly and communicated so well. We had a stress free stay there with no issues whatsoever. Thank you Tara!

Very cosy comfy bed in a quiet location, good central area for getting around. Close to black butt reserve which was really nice for walking. Very friendly nice host and very clean. Loved it , couldn't fault in anyway.

We enjoyed a couple of days at the Pool House in Caves Beach. Good location, an easy walk to the beach, shops and cafes. The Pool House was perfect for our needs, very clean, well equipped, private and the fridge was thoughtfully stocked with milk, bread, eggs, wine and beer and other provisions. A very comfortable stay, thank you.

The whole house was just right for us. 6 adults and 2 toddlers and a baby. Hannah even offered a cot and high chair for us. She is very responsive and thoughtful. She even left some Easter surprises for us in the fridge. It was great having the outdoor balcony upstairs too so we could relax (as much as you can with little ones around) and enjoy the view. We used the house and pool a lot as the children are so young. Great location and a wonderful home.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, had a beautiful view, and offered plenty of space for us and our dogs to relax. It was great to find a spot that was truly dog-friendly—our dogs felt right at home. The backyard was secure, and there were lovely walks nearby. Carly and Katie were friendly and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend for anyone travelling with pets!

A lovely stay with the kids. Close enough to the Hunter Valley attractions for easy adventures, and far enough away to feel like a country break. Daniel and Renee were very responsive hosts. The outdoor firepit and meeting the animals were accommodation highlights.

This was the second time we stayed at Naomi’s place and it was just as good as the first time round. Naomi was also very responsive and helpful when our travel plans needed changing at the last minute. We’ll be back again.

What a beautifully styled airbnb. It was adorable and so neat and clean. Took the doggy for a walk down to the lake near dark and it was stunning. Had local take away. A perfect little stopover. I felt so comfortable and although on a relatively busy road it still felt private and peaceful. I wasn’t at all disturbed by any road noise. Highly recommend Tyler’s place. I would love to visit again.

Great house in a peaceful rural setting with lovely styling and pared-back furnishings. Plenty of space for our family of 5 (and dog) to relax and enjoy the bush surrounds. Kids absolutely loved the flying fox, too (I think the whole suburb heard their screams of joy!).

We had a wonderful weekend away, easy drive off the freeway, would recommend couples to stay. With quiet surrounds, and beach views from 2 balconies. Everything was neat and tidy, large kitchen/dining area, coffee machine ++ air con and ceiling fans. Host had shared easy to follow instructions. Thank you Jai.

Really great place! Went away for a weekend getaway with my family and was so nice to be able to take my dog with us. The only thing that would make the place better is if the pool was heated! We were all looking forward to going swimming, but unfortunately we had cold weather and the pool was too cold for us to use - which was disappointing. Otherwise, great place and would recommend :)

INCREDIBLE location for big groups and events! I had my 30th weekend here with close friends and family, and we had an absolute blast. The highlight was the Lemon Tree bar and clubhouse! The weather was beautiful too, and everyone felt very comfortable. Riley was super responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend!

We travelled as a couple with our two pups and enjoyed our stay at Kelly's place. Kelly was a great host, the place was lovely, plenty of room and very well equipped with added extras that were appreciated. The location was also great for our day trips to the Hunter region and various dog friendly beaches. Thanks again for a great stay!
