caves beach is absolutely beautiful and the Williams house is in a perfect location. Two beaches very close by and walkable and plenty other activities to do in the surrounding. The house is perfectly set up for families with kids and the views are stunning. We actually thought the pictures do not do the views and house justice.

Our holiday at Helen's lakeside property was absolutely fantastic! The location could not have been more perfect, right in front of a serene lake with picture-perfect scenery. The view from the property was breathtaking, providing the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and memorable stay. The spacious outdoor deck allowed us to fully enjoy the natural beauty around us, whether we were having meals, playing games, or simply soaking in the view. Inside, the house was just as impressive—spacious, immaculate, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was clear that Helen has taken great care in maintaining the property, and it made our family feel right at home. What made this holiday even more special was the fact that it was a multi-generational trip with our children and grandchildren. Excellent home for our family gathering. Sally is a generous host with a few nice surprises in addition to the basic staples. Very well laid out accommodation and the pool area was a real bonus. Lovely modern beach style decor in keeping with the location close to the ocean. Highly recommend.

My partner and I, and our 3 kids (between 5 and 8) had a great time! The house has a hot-water outdoor shower to get properly clean after a day at the beach. You can watch the beautiful sunrise across the ocean from the large living room windows. The kitchen has PLENTY of cooking utensils and crockery. TV has all the apps. The ping pong table downstairs was also worth it. It's useful to know that three of the 4 bedrooms are downstairs, and one queen bedroom is upstairs where the rest of the action is. The front balcony is nice and spacious, and the deck out to the back is HUGE! The location is extremely quiet, you can hear the waves on the beach. It takes about 3-5 minutes walk to get to the beach, it's very, very close.

A wonderful stay in a great big house with plenty of space and things to do. The host was very amenable and helpful and we had a wonderful time. Rooms were comfortable and the big loft space with lots of beds would suit a group with lots of older children, to have a big sleepover of sorts. Well fenced and set up for dogs too, with plenty of parks and dog friendly beaches nearby. Kitchen and cooking facilities had everything you need to actually cook, even for the larger groups that could fit in such a big house.

Beautiful place. My folks loved it. The House is Lovely and cozy. Backyard is Huge full of Plants and Tress. Calm and peaceful vibe at the stay. Absolutely recommend for a stay.

We had a great time at Adrian and Kristina's place. Kids and adults enjoyed the cycles and suana. Wood fired pizza was also a hit with everyone. Definitely recommend the place.

Great home for our weekend getaway. Very close to lots of thing's to do. The home was perfect and the dogs loved the big backyard. Daniel & Sarah were very helpful and we very much enjoyed our time at their home.

We got to Carey bay an hour early and Bill let us check in early. Very cozy and homey place and quiet neighbourhood. Perfect for 3 people. My Mum loved it. The view was very nice, we even chose to just stay in one afternoon instead of going out. It was the perfect retreat place after very busy few weeks. Thanks for accommodating us, Bill!

This was the second time we stayed at Naomi’s place and it was just as good as the first time round. Naomi was also very responsive and helpful when our travel plans needed changing at the last minute. We’ll be back again.

Beautifully presented apartment above the owners’ living space. Very peaceful and quiet location, easy check in and good communication with Jean. We loved all the breakfast offerings, fruit provided and even chocolate, very generous indeed. We would definitely stay again and would recommend to others.

Beautiful, comfortable apartment that feels like home! Well-styled home, spacious with high ceilings, natural and stylish feel with beautiful indoor plants. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Extra touches such as heated floor in the bathroom, PS4, piano, yoga mat, weights, coffee machine and even coffee beans! Lots of condiments available in the cupboard and fridge. Household essentials were of high quality. Super-friendly, responsive and accommodating hosts who know the area really well.

Robert and Stella were very friendly and helpful hosts. They had great local recommendations, a thorough instructions book and quick response times. Seamless check in and check out process. Their place was like a 5 star apartment, it had everything we needed with lots of personal, thoughtful touches as well as clean and comfortable. The view was breathtaking and it was a very peaceful neighbourhood, exactly what we needed! Highly recommend!

Edyta & Darius were top hosts. Super friendly, open and helpful. We could have chatted with them for hours. Thank you for making our anniversary weekend so special. Your humble abode was the perfect place to get away and nice & close to 8 on Trinity for our lunch. The bed was comfortable, space with clean and neat and the location easy to find and whisper quiet.

Absolutely loved our stay! The place was super clean and incredibly peaceful. One of the highlights was waking up and relaxing in the evening with the calming sounds of ducks and birds just outside. Such a lovely, tranquil spot. Highly recommend!

A lovely place by the lake: spacious, quiet, homey, and spotless. Accommodations in Lake Macquarie are mostly good quality, Lynne’s place is definitely among those. Highly recommended.

Perfect for a weekend or even long term getaway. Location was great, right in the heart of the city, 5-mins walk to a couple local pubs, cafes and convenience stores and 15-mins walk to beach and light rail interchange. Also noticed quite a few buses with different bus routes around the area as well. Check in was a breeze and not that I had any issues but Mel was quick to reply once I had advised check in and check out. The place itself was fantastic, ducted air con throughout, 2 very big comfy beds, large lounge area and huge dining area with a kitchen that had what you need to cook for a large group of people, if you wished. Having access to a washing machine and dryer is always a plus, esp. when there’s a 2nd toilet and the bathroom was clean as well. Would definitely look to stay there again if going back up to Newcastle.

This was a perfect location and reasonably priced for our group as wedding guests in the Hunter Valley. Easy to access and very clear instructions. Clean space with necessary amenities.

10 stars! The longer you stay in Keran’s studio (and Newcastle) the longer you will want to stay. As frequent airbnb’ers we SO appreciate the considerate built-in storage spaces, HOOKS (!), all the kitchen supplies needed to cook meals, etc.! Keran spoiled us: cheeses, fruit, butter, gluten free crackers (she asked about dietary requirements!), OJ and more. Any anxiety about lack of outdoor space was quelled by a cute cozy basement style patio and the fact that Newcastle Beach and its shaded chill spaces is only a few minutes’ walk away. I have to mention the bathroom which had the most sophisticated lighting I have seen. Plus a great shower, just bring your shampoo. Public transport is nearby but we were happy to have a car to explore and traffic was a non-issue. Smaller car is best. Restaurants in walking distance as well as ocean pools (a must!). Best grocery stores by car. We met Keran who was great about checking in w/us and suggestions. She lives above in this historic complex.

The apartment and the amenities are outstanding. We returned here because we had to extend staying away from our house because of renovations. This was our first choice and u cannot recommend it enough. What really does need highlighted is how much of an outstanding history Connie is. She was so understanding, compassionate, super friendly and flexible. She deserves 10 stars.

Definitely recommend staying here, we will be rebooking in the future
