This was our 4th stay in the modern and lovely container home and each one is better than the last! Michael and Miranda are always responsive, thoughtful and kind. This time they went above and beyond and we were so grateful! Definitely some of the best hosts we have ever had. We can’t recommend or compliment this stay or these hosts enough! Just perfect. We love sitting out on the deck with the fire pit enjoying drinks and having coffee in bed in the morning. And the shower? Just wow! Thank you! We’ll see you again soon!

My partner and I had the most relaxing weekend getaway at this beautiful A-frame cabin! The setting is peaceful and surrounded by trees, which made it feel like a true escape from the hustle and bustle. The cabin itself is gorgeous—thoughtfully designed, clean, and cozy, with lovely touches that made it feel like home. One of our favorite parts of the stay was spending time at the private dock on the nearby lake. It was such a peaceful spot to sit, talk, and take in the scenery—especially in the morning with our coffee! The quiet, natural surroundings made everything feel calm and restorative. The host was wonderful: kind, responsive, and made everything seamless from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a restful retreat. We’d absolutely love to return!

This area was really cute. The house was very well equipped, lots of additional items that made the stay pleasurable. The house and amenities appear fairly new and in great shape.

We loved our stay is this beautiful cabin by the lake. The house was clean with plenty of space for our family and great amenities. It was just as advertised. Glen was a very friendly host, providing good local recommendations and answering all of our questions quickly. This was a relaxing and private space in the fall. We look forward to coming back, maybe to enjoy the summertime activities next time!

Pros: The location is great. Being on a peninsula makes it feel much more private. Very little activity or noise from other houses, which was great. The views from the sunroom and porch were fantastic and the trees in the yard provide good shade. The dock was nice and easy to access. Plenty of seating indoors and out. The bathrooms and linens were clean and seemed sanitary. In general, the place felt like a family home, in a good way. Cons: The rugs were not clean. The upholstered furniture is old and has signs of wear. Small things just didn't work right (the front storm door closing spring was not adjusted right, the primary bath door didn't close right, missing TV remote, some lamps didn't have bulbs or didn't work, SUP board full of water and had to be drained). Also, you have to take your own trash which is a buzzkill when checking out (dump was closed on the day we left so we had to carry bags of garbage in our car all the way home). Overall: Great place, great views, good value

Perfect location for us as we had a family event in Oxford. Easy to get to and plenty of off-street parking in this large, corner lot.

This was our family’s second visit to Jennifer’s Lake Gaston house for Thanksgiving and we so enjoyed our time there! The house is spacious with a beautiful and quiet location on the lake. It’s so generous of the host to allow use of the kayaks and canoe, which makes this place truly extra special. The dock and other outdoor spaces are also lovely and the area is great for taking long walks. Check-in and check-out were a breeze and Jennifer is an extremely responsive host.
