A beautiful location and a perfect home for a large group. Our gathering of nine had plenty of room to spread out and we all appreciated the wonderful hot tub. Nearby Fox Lake offers a nice selection of restaurants and places to shop. It seems like this place is six minutes from everywhere. We greatly enjoyed our long weekend and hope to stay there again.

We couldn't ask for a better location to stay at while attending our sons graduation from Navy bootcamp. The location along with the house having everything we needed was great. Our new sailor was able to come spend the day with us and just relax. We were even able to BBQ one of the days. The house is as described and has everything you would need and more. It was just what we needed . I would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again if I ever need to go back to the area.

The Fox Lake property was perfect for our family’s January weekend getaway. There was so much to do indoors- pool table, arcade game, foosball, poker table, movie room, and board games! Everything was as described and pictured in the listing. The home was spacious, bedrooms were great, and it had everything you could need in the kitchen for meals. Very close to restaurants and entertainment as well! Amazing lake views while hanging out in the main living areas. Our guest contact, Fabiola, was very responsive. We accidentally left an item behind, and she went above and beyond to help coordinate getting the item back to us. We hope to be back in the warmer months!

Dawn was an excellent host - we had booked the listing for a wedding, and accommodating multiple couples and a toddler. There’s a great array of bedrooms and gathering spaces, and everything was clean and as pictured. Dawn was always responsive and helped work with us for an earlier checkin, which was much appreciated with an unruly child. They were also understanding and helpful with allowing us to gather in the home with in-town friends, which allowed us to be a great meeting point for all wedding festivities. Communication continued to be great and instructions for checking in and out were clear and helpful. Would definitely recommend for anyone seeking a great listing for a group!

I'm extremely grateful for this beautiful home. We woke up to swans and all forms of life greeting us in the morning. incredible spot!

The house is well decorated, comfortable, and clean. The backyard space is amazing. The host was very nice, communicative, and helpful. We will definitely rebook when visiting the area again later this year. Highly recommended overall! Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay here for a weekend lacrosse tournament at the nearby Vernon Hills athletic complex. The drive to get there was about 10 minutes. This location was close to many things we wanted to do while in the area, everywhere seemed to be less than a 12 minute drive in one direction or another. The home is typically lived in by the family who owns it so you are staying in what feels like a friend's home which we liked. The king sized bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable and the sheets were so soft! We didn't use many amenities while in the home, because we really just slept and showered there. We did love that there were several bathrooms with showers so that everyone had a place to get ready. We loved having a washer/dryer to wash our kids' uniforms after a day on the fields, something that would have been difficult had we stayed in a hotel. In spite of the host traveling, she was able to be reached the two times we needed.

The location is excellent. It is close to EVERYTHING you need. If you are coming for a naval graduation, I strongly suggest this home. If you’re adventurous there is an amazing Mexican “Paulina’s” restaurant a 3 minutes walk.
