Had an amazing time here and didn’t want to leave! Our favorites were the location (across the street from the beach) and hot tub. I was especially impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was - we never needed to buy coffee or spices for cooking.

Great place, great location. I will stay again in a next visit!

Jeanette is a wonderful host. She met us on our arrival and gave us a tour of our rental ensuring that she answered any questions. She is very responsive and quick to answer any follow up. questions or concerns. The space is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The location is great, across the street from Long Island Sound and bordering a large nature preserve. All this and easy access to shops, groceries, and restaurants. We highly recommend this rental.

This house is a gem! I came to stay a week in off season with my dog, Rollo. The location is breathtaking, right on the Long Island Sound. We had a great time exploring the beach, looking for all the biodiversity in the birds and sea creatures, watching the boats, and this place is relatively close to an airport so watching the planes land and take off was awsome as well. We came for privacy, and I expected the beach to be a little more private than it was due to my dog's reactivity. But the neighbors did not seem to have issues with us, and once you are close to the water, especially in low tide, the beach is pretty open for all the locals. Walking around, the locals all waved and said hello. Not too many restaurants close by, but the Lobster Shack down the road had good food! Would stay again! The deck alone was worth it!

Rented this for six weeks while working in the area, was perfect. I enjoyed it very much. Lots of space everything you could possibly need even down to the toothpaste and brushes, you could seriously just show up completely unprepared and you would have an excellent stay. If I am back in the area for long term again this will be my first search.

We loved Leslie's place and would book here again in a heartbeat - especially in beach season (we were there mid-April). We opted for Leslie's because of its great location over a much larger home with more amenities in the same price range - we were not disappointed! We have two teenage boys and we felt comfortable letting them explore the neighborhood on their own while we squeezed in a few hours of work. Walk or bike to beach, park, basketball courts, restaurants/bars, laundry and more. Encountered many friendly neighbors on our walks. Average 15 min drive to explore lots in West Haven/New Haven. The deck is almost as large as the house with a grill and great furniture. The fully fenced yard was perfect for our dog - even she felt right at home immediately! The inside is nicely decorated and very comfortable. I loved having my coffee/beer/ cocktail on the deck in view of Long Island Sound with my dog sunning herself by my feet! I highly recommend for couples or families of all ages!

It was cozy yet spacious. It caused an all out homemade hot chocolate w marshmallow, movie night with the whole family. We'd grab a different great breakfast sandwich 3 min away daily. Everything is just an exit or a block away. I would love to stay here again.

Very very good Airbnb experience. The house is cosy, organized and well loved and the gardens/pool are serenely beautiful. It’s the perfect spot. I’d recommend highly.

The place matched the description perfectly and much more spacious than what one usually finds for a single bed/bath apartment. I enjoyed the stay and would return again. For me it was a perfect place to accommodate overflow thanksgiving guests over the holiday.

The absolute best Air B & B we ever stayed at. Allana was a pleasure to work with. The home was spacious, and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, and more. Fireplace, pool, enclosed porch, sun room with coffee bar, sitting room, sunken living room, dining room with tons of chairs, kitchen bar with stools, dining room bar with stools, mud room with extra refrigerator and freezer, storage space galore, closets stocked with games, linen closets with anything you might need, big bedrooms, master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, balconies to soak in the sun, crib, high chair… too much more to even list. Our family had a fabulous time; the energy in the house is so welcoming! The soft blues are soothing, and quaint beach theme accents throughout the home lend to the relaxed vibe. The rooms flow perfectly, and provided ample space for different family members to have their own area to unwind in. Steps from beach & playground, the neighborhood is perfect for a stroll.

the house was extremely comfortable...quiet yet close to town and a 5 minute easy walk to the beach. it's a little small, with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, but well-appointed. the pool is gorgeous. shawn was extremely responsive to any questions we had .

I cannot describe accurately how lovely and comfortable Jonathons house is It was more than perfect for us in every way! The fenced in yard was perfect for our little dog and we all enjoyed turkeys and deer hanging out. Walking the neighborhood and to the beach with leaves changing It couldn’t have been any better.

Hidden gem!!! Shhhh don’t tell anyone this place was fabulous and I want to stay the whole summer! Nothing bets fire island and this house was the perfect retreat!!! Beautiful, spotless and well put together! Loved it! Perfect for a family or friends get away!!! Hosts were responsive and friendly as well. Close to beach and great to a have a pool for part of the day! Great location walkable/bikable to Seaview, Ocean Beach and Ocean Bay Park for dinner was a breeze! A must!

We had a wonderful stay! The house can accommodate large family gatherings - there were a lot of spaces for folks to spread out as well as gather. The kitchen is very well stocked. We would definitely rent again!

This is a cozy cottage, perfect abode for one or two people. Kevin and Rosemary are lovely hosts, welcoming and responsive to my needs. Their saltwater pool is an amazing amenity. Of course, being so close to the ocean which I love is ideal! The cottage itself is comfortable and efficient, including a small washer and dryer which made my long-term stay easy to do.

We loved staying here! Stayed in October but had stunning weather, quick walk to town, walked the Sunken Forrest, which was easy to get too. Quick walk to the ocean for morning sunrises and enjoyed some wildlife friends, loved the deer. Hosts were accommodating, can’t beat three master bedrooms, would absolutely stay again, my family had a wonderful time!

Perfect venue for a Thanksgiving getaway with our whole family. Rather than having out of town family staying at hotels, we could all stay together in a comfortable home with a beautiful view.

The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, and the beach is right next to the house. The home itself is nicely set up, clean, and comfortable. Jenn was incredibly responsive and kind throughout our stay. We’ll definitely miss the time we spent there!

This Oceanfront Getaway has amazing views of the ocean from all over the house. We sat on the deck and watched the tide come in, we cooked dinner and watched the tide go out. My family and I took long walks down the very quite beach (right outside the back gate). This section of beach seems to only be used by the people that live in the neighborhood so it did feel almost like a private beach. My kids found so many large sea shells they had trouble picking a few favorites to bring home. There were lots of great places to eat within a short drive. I highly recommend any of the G Cafe and Bakery locations for a great coffee and/or breakfast treat. It was also fun to explore some of the smaller towns nearby like Branford and Niantic both of which offered unique shopping experiences. Marc and team were super responsive and provided many amenities like laundry soap, dish soap, coffee, and creamers. We had so much fun we look forward to a return trip in the future.

We stayed here for a wedding at The Burr Mansion, which was extremely close to the house! The house was clean and updated. A few spots to walk to including a local bar. Just a walk to the beach. Bedrooms are all spacious and were very clean. Would definitely stay again.

A great stay! So close to the beach with an incredibly peaceful view of the lake. I’ve stayed at multiple Airbnb homes in the area and this one ranked at the top. Kitchen is chef ready, living area is so relaxed and very comfortable. All the amenities were spot on. My biggest worry when I book any stay is whether or not I’ll sleep well and I can sincerely say the beds in this place are great! Gary is a great host and an Asbury enthusiast. Will be back for sure!
