This spot was great! The home is spacious, incredibly comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. It’s located at the very end of an inlet, offering a waterfront setting but I wouldn't call it picturesque. While we didn’t have a boat, it looked like getting one in and out would be easy for an experienced boater. The house was spotless—you can tell a lot of care goes into keeping it clean. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, with soft sheets that made for a great night’s sleep. Everything related to rest and relaxation was truly top-notch. The home is well-stocked with basic necessities for living, though if you have specific cooking preferences or comfort items, you should make a quick trip to the store. The neighborhood is very quiet, with the exception of some occasional noise from the nearby airport—but that’s just part of being in Marathon. Parking was easy, the pool was great, and everything matched the description perfectly. We highly recommend

Beautiful ocean views and great local recommendations from the host! Some aspects of the interior were a bit dated, but with multiple areas to enjoy the outdoors (offering full shade to full sun and everything in between), we didn't do much inside except sleep. Kids spent hours per day in the pool and adults most enjoyed lounging on the jetty with 345 degrees of ocean views. Board games (and a ps3) were available for the occasional down time. The location allows for a feeling of privacy on the ocean while offering many hidden gems for dining and activities nearby.

We had an amazing time at this property. The location was couldn't get any better. We brought our boat and property was perfect for that. We are already starting to plan for next year!

This is a fantastic property! Right across from Sombrero Beach but still peaceful and private. The house and yard is like an oasis. Host and management company are WONDERFUL! Highly recommend!

This home was great! There was six of us staying in this rental. It was spacious for all of us. We loved sitting outside on the patio by the canal. We were able to walk to a local restaurant, beach and pool. The house was very clean and the neighborhood was super quiet. Overall a great stay and Mary was an excellent host!

We had a great time at this location. They had everything we needed and Key Colony is a perfect spot to vacation.

We loved our stay here. Close to everything but the room was quiet. Everything was clean and had what you needed. Sofi was amazing and provided local recommendations. A great place if you’re looking to stay in South Beach!

Evgeniy's place was a great spot to spend a few days in Hollywood beach. The pool and the back deck offered a great gathering space to hangout while getting some relief from the Florida sun. The house was clean and Evgeniy was very responsive with the few questions I did have.

Had a great stay. The unit was well equipped and the location was everything. Def will stay here again next time I’m in Miami!

The house was spacious and clean, and we got good use out of the pool and hot tub. Bert requires signing a separate contract after booking on AirBnB, but worked with us to tailor the language. Towels are provided but be prepared to bring most other amenities like shampoo, etc yourself. Also, be aware that Sunrise Drive is a private road and you cannot access the beach there - Sombrero Beach is about a 15 minute walk, but definitely worth the walk!

We really liked the location. It was peaceful and private and a great neighborhood to walk around and to walk our dog. Yet, a short drive into Marathon for restaurants or any other needs. The house isn’t new but it was exactly as represented and it was perfect for us. Frank was very responsive. There were a couple of issues that he addressed immediately. It wasn’t his fault that because of the location, receiving repair parts can take some time. But Frank took care of our situations.

Unbeatable location to the beach. Apartment has 2 chairs and 2 towels available as well which was really nice to have. Pool area is very nice and well maintained. The building itself inside is a little run down like other reviews have mentioned, but the room itself is nice.

You won’t find a better set up than this with family. Playground, beach, pool , sidewalks for walking everywhere, and great kayaking area as well. And the owner makes sure his guests have all they need.

Had a lovely stay at Suzi's! She really is as accommodating as other reviews have noted. The apartment was spotless and equipped with all of the basics. We felt like we had everything we needed to be comfortable. Despite this being in South Beach, the location was private and peaceful, yet close enough to everything where you could choose whether you wanted to be in the mix or not. The building has easy and quick access to the beach, and the complimentary chairs and umbrella were such a bonus! There are plenty of restaurants and things to do nearby where a vehicle is not necessary, but we rented a car and parked it in the garage at 7th & Collins so we could easily explore other parts of Miami at our leisure. We walked the path in the morning and utilized the Citi bikes in the evening when it was lit up, which was really relaxing. Suzi graciously let us have a late checkout because there were no other guests, and it was really appreciated. Would definitely stay here again!

Fernando's place was great. We loved the screen porches and the beautiful tree outside the upstairs porch. The beach is a beautiful spot.

Location, location, location! Great views, nice pool area, dock space if needed. Walkable to several resorts and turtle sanctuary.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Das Studio ist sauber und gepflegt gewesen. Die Umgebung ist sehr schön. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen und empfehlen das Studio und die Gastgeberin auf jeden Fall weiter.

Beautiful views and great spaces! We’ve stayed in Marathon several times in different canal houses with our family of 7, and this property is now our new favorite. We couldn’t get enough of all the beautiful views from sunrise to sunset whether it was on the porch, in the pool, or out by the Tiki Hut. Every bedroom has water views as well. Boat access was an easy out to snorkeling, diving, fishing, or whatever you like to do. There are two kayaks for use, which made for some nice outings to explore the immediate area. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking, and even had an extra under-the-counter ice machine. We had a great time here, and would stay again. Thank you to the owners for sharing your property.

We stayed here for a girls weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better place! The location was absolutely perfect, right across from the beach and close to restaurants and shops. Devin was great with communicating and the house looks just as described - even better than expected! There was a lot of space and had everything we needed. Would definitely come back here!

I stayed at Jeff's place with 4 of my cousins, so 5 girls in the house. We were anticipating a trip just to hang out at a beach for a couple of days and this was a great place to do that. It was a great stay, we were close to the beach. Jeff had beach chairs ready for us and a wagon to pull them to the beach. It was like a half a block walk to the boardwalk and beach. We spent a lot of time walking the boardwalk, checking out the shops and eateries and enjoyed the beautiful sandy beach. Their is a nice bottom deck and top deck which we enjoyed coffee out there in the morning and playing cards later at night. We would definitely come back here or recommend this place. Jeff was very easy to reach out to and responded to texts very well. He even called us the morning we were checking out to make sure everything was OK. NOTE: There are towels in the bathrooms, but no wash cloths and no dish cloths (there is a sponge) and no dish towel. So next time I would pack each of those.

Great place right in the heart of Key Colony. House had all we needed and more to make our 8 day stay comfortable. Great boat dock with plenty of room for 2 31 ft boats.

This place was wonderful for our family. Located on the water with boat lift. We caught tons of fish and saw manatees off the dock. The pool and cabana were great during the gorgeous days and to catch sports at night. I loved the morning sunrise in the top deck. Kitchen well equipped and beds comfy. The paddle boards and kayaks provided were an added bonus. I only wish we had brought bikes. The community was perfect for biking. The cabana Club was great. My kids loved the playground across the street. We played pickleball, bocce ball, and shuffleboard everyday. Centrallt located nears tons of great restaurants. I recommend Castaways and Sparky’s. Also for boat rental Vacation Boat Rental. The owner is very responsive with any issues we may have had. The property manager Tony is wonderful to work with if needed also. I cannot say enough great things about this location. 5 star all the way.
