High Peaks Artist's Loft

The High Peaks Artist’s loft is a converted mechanics shop located conveniently right in Keene. The space has been decorated by two artists and includes original paintings and decorations. This is a generous studio space with a well-equipped kitchenette, bathroom with a shower, pool table, lounge area and large projection screen. When you are ready to turn in for the night, we hope you will enjoy the newly created sleeping loft. If the weather is nice there is also a fire pit for you to use!

The cutest little cabin in the Adirondacks!

NO ADDITIONAL FEES! Wake up to the sounds and sights of a relaxing Adirondack stream, next to the Barton Brook in charming, little Elizabethtown, NY. The building is in our backyard and the inside is roughly 7x7 with one single twin sized bed, dresser with three drawers, a dorm sized fridge, coffee maker, outlets, a light inside and on the open porch. We have a screened hammock next to the cabin. Enjoy your morning coffee or read a book sitting in the Amish rocker by the outdoor fireplace.

Fountains Cabin

This basic cabin is centrally located on Rt 73 close to climbing cliffs and trailheads. With a private setting in the woods it offers a great base for your Adirondack adventures. Please note that this accommodation will be a „GLAMPING“ experience. The cabin HAS NO SHOWER and a limited supply of 5 gallons of water. It is not impervious to the outdoors. Although the cabin is regularly cleaned thoroughly there will be the occasional bug or spider crawling along minding its own business.

Only .7 miles to the Jay Covered Bridge, 3 miles to the Jay Mountain summit trail head, 7 miles to Whiteface Mountain, and 16 miles to Lake Placid. Keene and Keene Valley trail heads are only minutes away. The cabin has 3 acres of wooded property with a front driveway as well as a back access drivweway which is nice to walk. Tucked in the woods on our working sheep farm, our off-grid tiny house is the perfect escape and stepping stone into the Adirondack mountains for hiking, skiing, and snowshoeing. Enjoy the coziness of the Crook between forays into our north country wilderness! What you will find: adventure, peace, quiet, woodstove, candles, down blanket, fire pit, privacy, composting outhouse, firewood for sale. **Please note there is NO electricity and NO running water.
