Small family-friendly flat at the foot of Stellenbosch Mountain—just 1.3 km from town. The mountain begins almost across the street, with direct access to walking trails and the wide open scenic “Butterfly Fields” right on our doorstep. The space is compact, with 2 small en suite bedrooms, a kitchenette, and a small lounge. Perfect for young families: toys, books, trampoline, treehouse, and shared garden and pool. Lakeside tranquility with wood fired hot tub

Avocado cottage is one of three cabins on the edge of a lake in the heart of the picturesque Banhoek conservancy. It is a light, modern cabin with a private, wood fired hot tub, access to endless hiking and the finest mountain biking trails in the Western Cape. Although it is styled as a two person cabin, there is an open queen sized pod attached to the living room which can sleep 2 children or an extra guest for an extra fee. The deck of this cottage reaches out over the lake.

Heidi’s Barn, Franschhoek

Situated on a small holding 5km outside Franschhoek, opposite the exquisite La Motte Wine Estate, Heidi’s Barn offers the perfect self-catering base from which to explore the Winelands. A fire pit, outdoor dining area and a large swimming pool (shared with one other cottage) are perfect for summertime relaxation while an indoor wood-burning fireplace and wooden floors throughout make for a cosy winter escape. The barn runs on mains power with solar back up for load shedding.
