The description of “belle vista” is accurate! The view of Mount Mitchell was beautiful from the big porch. The A frame was a unique house style that was fun to experience and the surroundings were super peaceful and quiet. Alicia was helpful with questions and swift to respond. A great spring break stay.

Had a very nice getaway at the Maybell house! The property was private, peaceful and very clean. The house is not far from shops and restaurants. Would definitely come back!

House was clean and beautiful. Lots of space for everyone to spread out and be together. Great location for getting to Beech Mt to ski.

We were in the area for a funeral, Daniel was quick to approve our reservations. His welcome packet was amazing! Everything was laid out and the directions and requirements were clear and precise. Daniel was also quick to respond to any questions that we had. I hope to come back for a longer stay in the future to enjoy the amenities in the area. We absolutely enjoyed the beauty of the creek on the back of the property! My mom enjoyed a little peace and quiet in the hammock, just what the doctor ordered! Beds are so comfortable, I think I’m going to have to order some of the sheets they use, I fell in love with them.

very secluded and peaceful. spent mornings listening to the wild turkeys and evenings watching the deers graze. beautiful mountain view. Very basic amenities ie cooking and baking dishes but limited silverware which is no big deal we just bought some plastic to use as needed. old iron tub in 1 bathroom was so nice after a long day at the track. plenty of room for a large family or group of friends. outdoor grill worked great for steaks. back porch overlooks a field and mountain view. plenty of outdoor space. large porches and fire ring. each time I reached out to James he responded quickly. highly recommend

My sister and I have stayed here several times while staying in the area, and Adeline's place is always comfortable, clean, and so peaceful. The back deck is very enjoyable for relaxing with a glass of wine or morning coffee. This is our go to place. Adeline is very responsive, nice, and always responsive. She is a wonderful wonderful host.

We were in town for a soccer tournament and everything was amazing! Everything was comfortable and the hosts thought about everything! Just as I said to myself -“oh no, I forgot coffee travel cups for the fields….” No worries, they had some there ready for guests! By far the best AirBNB and hosts / accommodations we have ever had! Thank you!!!

I booked my stay pretty late in the evening. The host was responsive and got me in right away. I really enjoyed my time here and I hope to return soon.

Everything we expected and more. It was a beautiful spot in a great location. It was a lot bigger than expected as well. We also didn’t realize how close it was to the ski resort!! You can walk there. We will definitely be back.

Our stay at D.J.'s cabin was everything we hoped for as we celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary on our first trip to the western NC mountains. Tucked away in the woods, the cabin had a cozy, down-home feel—exactly what I had envisioned when planning this getaway. The location was ideal for visiting both Blowing Rock and Banner Elk, making it easy to explore the area. We especially loved the inviting fireplace and well-equipped kitchen, which had everything we needed for meals. We found the bed incredibly comfortable and the bathroom pristine, with an amazing skylit shower. I highly recommend this cabin—you won’t be disappointed!

The condo was perfect for skiing at Beech Mountain. Easy drive to and from. The condo offered a cozy feel that made the snowy days just right. Perfect for our winter break!
