The house was great. clean, lots of towels, loved the hot tub. There are two things I would point out. The steps to the upstairs are very hard for people with mobility issues but there are four bedrooms on first floor. There are two single steps on the first floor.

We had a wonderful stay here. It was refreshing to take a break from work and immerse ourselves in nature, surrounded by such beautiful scenery. The house was in great condition—clean, well-maintained, and fully functional. We especially enjoyed kayaking at Morgan’s property and found the whole experience to be incredibly peaceful. Harper’s Ferry is a charming town with plenty to explore over a weekend.

Our recent stay at Guy and Sarah’s Airbnb in Harper’s Ferry was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, the cleanliness and thoughtful touches throughout the house were immediately apparent. The Scandinavian design of the home added a sense of peace and calm that made our stay exceptionally relaxing. As a family of five, we thoroughly enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen, making meal preparations convenient and an absolute pleasure. The cozy rooms, accentuated by the tranquil interior design, provided the perfect setting for relaxation. One unexpected gem was the extensive book collection. I discovered several titles that captured my interest so much that I plan to purchase them for my collection. Guy and Sarah were incredibly responsive and accommodating, enhancing our overall experience with their attentiveness. We wish our visit could have been longer, but we are already planning our return. Next time, we hope to share this excellent find with another set of friends.

Great, centrally located Airbnb! Very comfortable for our group of 4 adults and 2 children. Space is set up in a way that offers privacy for people traveling as a group. We loved the covered deck! We will stay again the next time we are in the area.

We loved Claudine’s home. We live in an old home ourselves and know that old homes are such a labor of love and it’s obvious Claudine takes great pride in her home. Claudine was an excellent host, she also provided us with updates as a big storm was coming in. The home was very close to the historical district, and Shepherd University. There was a lot of space for our family to spread out in. We will definitely be back. Thank you Claudine!

So happy we chose to stay here for a short family getaway - this was an amazing stay for our kids (11, 8, and 2) and us adults - we all thoroughly enjoyed. Jordan sets the bar for a thoughtful, responsive host, and the home was well-planned, stocked, and comfortable. We really loved the wood-burning fire pit to make s’mores, and I was impressed that Jordan even took the time to provide marshmallow sticks to make the experience perfect; the hot tub was lovely. Beautiful place to see the clear, star-filled night sky. The bathrooms and bedrooms had more than enough extra towels and bedding (and charging stations!) for our family, and the bedrooms/beds were super comfortable and quiet - we all slept like babies after touring Antietam Battlefield and the winery down the hill. Lots of food options close by (Easter Sunday/Monday there were some unposted closures so make sure to call), we visited Harper’s Ferry nearby afterwards. Can’t say enough good things; kids are already asking to return!

My husband, dog, and I had a great time! We stayed for two nights on the weekend. The place is definitely not easy to find on your own but Tara gave great instructions! We did have a truck, so it was easier to navigate up the hill in the snow, but for others, I would keep that in mind. The house was exceptionally clean and well stocked. The kitchen had everything you'd want, a hot pot stove, coffee machine, coffee, and a toaster oven. And the bed was really comfortable. 12 minute drive into Harper's Ferry, and walking distance to the closest C&O trail. Would definitely stay here again!

Peaceful place to relax and unwind. Huge yard to enjoy many yard games and large fire pit area. This was our second time staying here and its for a good reason. The house is great with many levels and deck space. Our favorite part is the floating deck on the water. We enjoyed fishing, getting our feet wet and tubing.

The lower level private entrance apartment was very nice with all new furnishings, comfortable bed and sofa, smart TV, plenty of books and games. The kitchen was well appointed with high end small appliances ( microwave oven, toaster oven, single pan cooktop, Ninja coffee maker and an under the counter with complimentary goodies ( sweet muffins English Muffins, butter, cream cheese, Starbucks ground coffee and orange juice) and some small bag snacks (popcorn and chips). The bathroom was very nice with plenty of towels and complimentary shampoo and conditioner. Judy was a very gracious and friendly host with quick responses to any questions or sought after recommendations. She gave us 4 wineries to try and we loved all 4 of them. You can’t go wrong with this Airbnb.

Cindy's place was AMAZING! She truly thought of everything. The location was beautiful and peaceful. The apartment was thoughtfully decorated with sweet little nooks to relax and enjoy the scenery. There was even a dog shower in the garage for the dogs when we got back from a muddy hike. I will definitely return!

Fantastic! Very clean and comfortable. Would absolutely stay there again! Secluded and quiet. Be aware that the very last bit of the road is gravel, so watch out with very low clearance sports cars.

My husband and I were very pleased with our lodging. The photos and description were accurate. The rooms were very clean and even though it was still cold out, the heating inside was perfect. We loved how quiet the area was. Out side at night you could hear the proverbial "pin drop". We were within walking distance to all attractions. I would absolutely stay at this location again.

Excellent host. Very clean place, beautiful property. Laura was amazing. It was like staying with a good friend. We bought some of her eggs and delicious honey. We would definitely stay there again. My wife and I and our fur babies will miss Laura, Jerald, and Dasher.

I had such a lovely stay here! The cottage is in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood, with a park close by. Butch provided great instructions on how to get to the cottage, met me when I got there, and walked me through the space. The bed was super comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything I needed for an almost week long stay. I would absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking to travel to the area.

Great place with a great view and was comfortable and nice. Plenty of activities, nature, and restaurants and breweries in the area, not to mention it is wine country. Very private and Baker was a great host.

My wife, 22 year old daughter, and I……along with Labrador Retriever…..had a wonderful stay. The multi-tiered deck gives a peaceful and private view of the beautiful river setting. The glass enclosed sun room in rear also gives a fantastic and bright setting/view of the river. The rooms and appliances are clean, modern, and in good working order. We enjoyed day-visits to Harper’s Ferry, Charles Town, Shepardstown, Shenandoah Park, etc. thoroughly enjoyed our stay….

This was a beautiful cabin tucked away in a serene community. The cabin was well stocked with towels, linens, and kitchen utensils. We appreciated the cozy atmosphere and fireplace. Every room served its purpose well and was extremely inviting. Our kids enjoyed the hammock and running around in the back yard without getting too close to the water. It felt safe, calm, and very homely. The internet connection was great! Whatever we forgot to bring for the kitchen was already there. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for being a wonderful host and so responsive. The property exceeded our expectations!

Herry's place was beautifully decorated and very clean. The projector felt like we were in a theater watching a movie. It was perfect for movie night and our snacks from the general store nearby. The hot tub was winner and so easy to use! His guidebook was very useful to find great recommendations for places to eat. Overall, it was a great weekend getaway for the family.

This home was lovely! The host clearly takes great care to keep the home stocked with essentials. The kitchen was fully stocked; including plenty of coffee for the coffee pot. I’ve never stayed in an AirBNB with as many towels as they provided which is a small luxury but something our group noted and really appreciated. The host sent clear instructions and was proactive and friendly. The roads to the home may be difficult to navigate in inclement weather, but we got lucky with wonderful, warm weather! If your vehicle doesn’t travel well on back roads, I would just be cautious in the area. I would definitely stay here again, this home is a hidden gem!?

We had a great visit at Denny’s place! The house is very well equipped, and Denny was super responsive throughout our visit when we had any questions about using some of the amenities. The property is beautiful and very private. Great for small kids as there is a small creek that provides a lot of entertainment! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

We had a great time relaxing at Mary-Lou's place. We took a ladies's trip-train ride for the weekend and stayed in Shenandoah Junction. There were so many things to see and do. We hiked, we barbecued, we played games and chatted. Nobody had any complaints. The host was very accommodating but we didn't have to ask for much because it was all laid out for us. The binder provided, had color pictures and descriptions on how to operate things. The kitchen was rustic-chic and very spaceous. We had a travel-chef from Sweet Robbins Kitchen prepare dinner and Brunch for us. She said she wished that every kitchen was as well stocked and organized as this one. The beds were comfortable and 'abundant'. Just book it! There were 10 ladies and no complaints.

The place was lovely, spacious & super clean!Beautiful grounds, it rained a lot during our stay so unfortunately we didn’t have the opportunity to enjoy the outside, but we were just as happy staying in and chilling inside. Jeanne is a wonderful host, super responsive and made us feel welcome. We’d love to come back another time!
