This charming little retreat is nestled within a beautifully kept garden, complete with a pergola and a peaceful water fountain right outside—perfect for relaxing mornings or quiet evenings. The cottage is filled with natural light and offers picturesque views from its many windows, so you're always connected to the outdoors. One of its highlights is the cozy attic—a perfect spot to curl up with a book and spend a slow, peaceful day. Located in a clean, serene neighborhood, the cottage is just a 10-minute walk from the lake's edge, making it both tranquil and conveniently placed. Fozia is a thoughtful host who goes the extra mile with her recommendations—she can connect you with a reliable shikhara boatman and a friendly auto driver who offers rides at very reasonable rates. A special touch is the delightful breakfast basket she provides, complete with homemade jams that add a personal and delicious start to the day.

Aamir sir is a great host and very welcoming. We stayed at My Kashmir Home on our way back from an exhausting 7 day trek. Aamir sir and his team took great care in helping us recover and refresh. If you are looking for a quiet and luxurious stay and experience the best in Kashmiri hospitality, go for this one. P.S. - If you’re a group, request for the Kashmiri wazwan experience. The in-house chef will blow your mind.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home. The space was incredibly comfortable, with thoughtful touches throughout that made my stay relaxing and cozy. The highlight, though, was the home-cooked meals. The caretaker prepared delicious, homemade dishes that made each meal feel like a special experience – everything was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. Speaking of the caretaker, they were amazing! Always available when I needed assistance, but also gave me plenty of privacy. Their warmth and attentiveness really made a difference in how I experienced the place. I couldn't have asked for a more supportive and caring host. Overall, it was a truly memorable stay, and I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable getaway with the added bonus of incredible food and exceptional hospitality. I’ll definitely be back!

We were a family of 11, and it felt just the one we are looking for. FZL is a super host and very responsive. Caretaker Asmit is nice boy. We ordered food for a few times, veg items were super tasty. It’s was just awesome stay for us. Every room has a room heater and electric blanket. We had a comfortable stay. We will definitely contact them next time we visit.

I had an amazing stay. The house was just like home. We were offered a cottage which was in between lush green garden with cheery, apply and walnuts and many more. The only thing which we felt was missing was a TV in the room however the stay was amazing. 10/10 stars. Super recommend.

Cozy, comfy stay at this lovely cottage! Located in a quiet, wooded area a little outside of the main town, yet easy enough to access, with lovely walks around the place. Kamal and Akshay were always at hand to assist with anything, and to rustle up simple, delicious food. Happy to have found this charming stay in Dalhousie.

Staying at the Loft was a unique experience. My husband & I had a great time here on Christmas Eve. Stay vista Manager, Mr. Shubham & the property owner, Mr. Toib also got us a cute Christmas cake, which was a sweet gesture. The staff & caretakers were prompt in their response. The only bummer was no water in the washroom in the morning, as the water had frozen in the pipes. Temperature had gone down to -11 degrees at night. The caretaker did provide water in buckets though. Also, considering the amenities & resources we got, it was a bit overpriced.

Yasir’s place was out of this world… very tastefully done and even the smallest needs of the guests were taken care of… Naseer n Wahid the caretaker took very good care of us … they were always available to help and their cheerful demeanour made our stay super nice … Sabahat & Yasir the owners were always following up about our well being and were super friendly and helpful… the house was spotlessly clean…it was exactly as per description…. Would love to visit again… Would highly recommend this property to everyone who wants to have a beautiful experience… All in all it was a memorable stay. Thanks Sabahat, Yasir for allowing us to stay at your place … special mention to Naseer for all the care you took of us…

Warm, welcoming and verg comfortable. Its a beautiful location with wonderful views. Quiet. Just what we were looking for. We did a lot of site-seeing, and shangrff was just wonderful to return to and unwind. Lovely sunset views, mornkng views of snow clad mountains. Very warm and hispitable caretakers and the manager yasmin was alwsys avaialble for any information.

Its a great place, The host is extremely Warm & Helpful, They Helped us , when we were stuck Because of the snow, Came & Picked us up, which was very helpful of them to do so. Amazing Location, Away from the rush of major Tourist area. Good place to just Eat RELAX & ENJOY the Woods & Snow. Rooms are very warm & comfortable, Service is also good & Food was also good (limited options But taste was very good) Overall we had a great time!

Saurabh has been a very nice host to us And this property is absolutely amazing and I have no words to describe how much you will enjoy staying in this cabin , for anyone who is looking for some time off and want to spend a private vacation on the hills , This is the perfect property with a great host Me and My partner had an amazing time there and We are willing to go back again very soon Its very near to the main tourist attractions and the market aswel Moreover He offered us a private rooftop and a bonfire plus. Very accommodating place as it also has a kitchen for a long term tenant I will highly recommend this property and it’s worth every money spent to rent and live in here. Thanks saurabh for your help throughout and hope to visit you soon 🔜 in the coming summers
