Arrives at the most beautiful of places. Tucked away on the shores of a lake, this is a wee gem if you want all the fun of Dublin without the noise and the hassle of the city. The towns close by; Leixlip, Maynooth, and Kilcock are worth an explore if you want to see the real small towns. We went to Town in Leixlip for a pint; and ate at The Salmon Leap and walked the heritage trail in the town. A great afternoon right there! We spent an afternoon exploring our old haunts and if you want a good Irish Friday night without the hassle of Dublin, head out to Kilcock for a pint in Murphys, a fish supper with curry chip and sausages from Rosies and head back to the lovely apartment and enjoy on the veranda with a couple of local Irish craft brews. Rye River Brewing is a great local Kildare one. Walk the grounds of this grand Irish home and see the animals (alpacas, pigs, sheep, puppets, emu) and just enjoy the peace inside the walled garden. We loved our stay and wished it were longer.

Sehr schönes altes Haus mit teilweise moderner Inneneinrichtung. Alles was man braucht - vor allem genügend Platz! Die Gastgeberin war äußerst freundlich. Speziell für Wanderer wird wie schon häufig beschrieben frisches Brot gebacken, Milch, Eier und Joghurt stand uns auch zur Verfügung!

I stayed at Jane’s place for 4 days - in late April. The unit was Excellent ! Very modern , outstanding detail , everything was available. The house gardens , were Beautiful !! The proximity to town ; walking , was great - about 15 minutes to shops ; a great Pub , the train station too ; several great golf courses very close !! Great Spot - Fine Hosts !

My 2 weeks in Cong at John Joe’s apartment were more than wonderful. The upstairs apartment had everything I needed plus more to be comfy and cozy. John Joe is a generous host, at the ready to provide whatever I needed. He is a gentleman and as a long resident of Cong widely known and highly respected in the village. He is a lovely man whose kindness infused my experience. I had a deeply happy time in Cong and the charm and aesthetic of John Joe’s airbnb apartment made my time there one that is already among my most treasured destinations - an experience of a lifetime. I think this was our favourite stay in Ireland. The cottage was exactly as advertised. The location is unique, beautiful and quite isolated, which is what we enjoy. Achill is small and we were never far from restaurants , pubs or grocery stores.The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and after eating out for a month it was delightful to be able to cook for ourselves. The washer/dryer was an absolute bonus and very much appreciated. Teresa was able to help us with travel plans and suggestions for places to visit. She was friendly without being intrusive . We would love to return again in better weather. What a gem of a place!

Das Haus ist total neu und liebevoll gestaltet, die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern lief einwandfrei. Wir waren total begeistert und kommen gerne wieder.

Cottage by the sea is a beautiful family home in a stunning location. Nothing was any trouble to Simon and our needs were well looked after. the house and gardens were so nice we didn't want to leave, yet there were so many beautiful walks and things to do nearby. A great location for anyone wanting to explore Westport and it's surroundings but want a quieter location just outside the town.

Le cottage a beaucoup de charme , dans un endroit paisible près de la rivière Le sauna , après les balades, a été très apprécié Garry est très sympathique et réactif Le pub jaune , de l'autre côté de la route, propose un succulent canard à l'orange Bref, nous serions bien restés plus longtemps

Island View was a real home from home. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped, everything you could possibly want was provided. A very generous welcome pack was provided which was much appreciated. Mairead was proactive in identifying that the heating downstairs wasn't working, even before we noticed ourselves, and did everything possible to rectify the situation. The location is ideal - a short walk to the excellent Foleys Bar and a little bit farther to the most beautiful beach. Mairead's tips for walking routes and places to eat were spot on. A delightful place to stay, couldnt fault a thing, and we would highly recommend.

Très belle maison, la décoration est soignée. Le logement était très propre. Nous n'étions pas tout du à l'étroit en étant 8. Possibilité de garer la voiture devant la maison sans difficulté. Le seul point négatif est la communication: nous n'avions pas de consignes de départ et nous avons dû faire comme nous pouvions sans réponse rapide de la part de l'hôte. Je recommande quand même fortement ce logement!

I can't thank Lisa and Patrick enough for how welcome they made both myself, bridal party and my parents feel during our stay. I booked the venue for a night stay before my wedding and it was perfect! The hosts were extremely accomodating, allowing for wedding hair and makeup services as well as phototography and use of the fabulous grounds. Beautiful, warm, Georgian style house for getting ready, saunas, outdoor hot-tub overlooking the river Boyne. Can't recommend enough and will definitely be returning again.

I love this house! It is so big and nice! Everything you need is there. The sauna is super, so much space around and it is nice and clean. Our stay here was unforgettable and I definitely will be coming back.

I’ve been staying in Airbnb’s for well over 10 years and this is probably the best one I’ve ever stayed in. It’s simply spectacular! It is so stylish and beautiful, so well-stocked with absolutely everything from teas and coffees and towels to beautiful plates and serving dishes and I could go on and on. The location and views are wonderful. It is a very special one-of-a-kind place and if you are lucky enough to find it available when you need a place in Kinsale for a group, just book it.

We had a fantastic weekend in this incredible location. The apartment is big and immaculate. The sea views from the apartment are breathtaking. There is an unspoilt beach on the doorstep with a long strand perfect for walking. There is also an outdoor hot tub in the evening overlooking the amazing view to cap it off. Highly recommend.

Great place for our first visit to Dublin! Perfect clean and with easy access. The location is great having Guinness Store house pretty close and the National Museum of Decorative Arts at door step! We can’t thank enough to the hosts for being so responsive giving us recommendations around the city.

We loved the flat. It’s somewhere we will hopefully stay again on our next visit.

Nous avons passé une belle semaine dans un environnement verdoyant, calme et agréable. Martha est très sympathique et soucieuse que tout se passe bien. La localisation est idéale pour voyager des cliffs of Moher (2h en voiture) jusqu'à Dublin (2h30 en voiture), ainsi que Kilkenny, Cahir, Cashel, Mizen Head, Limerick, Killarney.... enjoy !

we loved this place! it goes such a long way when the host provides little things you may have forgotten. Host was helpful, responsive and have put in a lot of thought into this place.

Endroit calme et reposant. Dommage de ne pas y être resté plus longtemps. Notre appartement ne donnait sur le lac, il fallait aller sur le parking des propriétaires mais on pouvait le faire. Donc pas de problème.

We had a great stay. The apartment was safe, clean, and comfortable. Catriona was very friendly, responsive, and had great information. It was easy to get to, and to get around from; we mostly walked, with a few cabs. The apartment was very clean, and bedding was comfortable. The tub was high to step into, so if you have mobility issues, be aware of that. Overall a great stay, highly recommended!
