We had a great stay! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. It was in a great location and close to trains perfect for exploring the city. The host was responsive and helpful throughout. The blankets were a bit on the smaller side, but that’s to be expected since both my partner and I are over 6ft tall—still slept comfortably! Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone visiting Tokyo.

This is my third visit to Fujisawa.I have a very good impression of everything here. This house in Zushi is nothing short of amazing. It’s a stunning, luxurious space with breathtaking views—perfect for a summer getaway. The beach is literally less than 100 steps away, and you’ve got great bars and restaurants just around the corner. The home itself has everything you could want: a spacious balcony to enjoy your morning coffee or evening wine, a private elevator and stairs leading up to your place, and a design that blends comfort and style effortlessly. The hosts were incredibly kind, respectful, and always helpful. We had zero complaints and felt completely at ease during our stay. We’ll definitely be back. Highly, highly recommended.

Great Apartment with amazing ocean view and a really nice interior - we enjoyed our stay a lot and would definitely come back! the place was well equipped, clean and communication with the host was very pleasant.

There are some places that remind you why you love Airbnb — and Hiroki’s home in Chigasaki is one of them. A true gem: bright, beautifully designed, nestled beside a peaceful Japanese garden. Just steps away is a charming little café run by a kind and talented host, serving delicious meals. And the five bicycles provided? They allowed us to explore the town at our own pace, all the way to the nearby beach. Chigasaki is perfect for a few days of slow life, far from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. Without a doubt, this is one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. A place we leave reluctantly, but that makes us want to come back.

This was a great location close to the beach, in a quiet rural area. The home is rustic but has all of the amenities listed, including an annex with a western bedroom for those that may prefer to use the bunkbeds. We stayed in the main building which had a toilet at one end, shower at the other, with plenty of living space. We even made use of the washing machine! The futons were quite comfortable but given the age of the home and traditional constructions there was traffic noise evident at night. While we enjoyed our stay, this home is best suited for those under 5’8” tall…those of us around 6’ have to duck everywhere, especially in the kitchen.

Nach unserem 13 stündigen Flug war diese Unterkunft für uns genau das Richtige. Von der Reise erschöpft, war die Badewanne mit Massagedüsen das Beste was uns erwarten konnte und nie habe ich in einer Unterkunft ein bequemeres Bett vorfinden können. Wir waren leider nur für zwei Nächte zu Gast, trotzdem können wir die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen. Gleich in der Nähe gibt es diverse Restaurants, welche auch mit Sprachbarriere einfach zu meistern sind. Ausserdem findet sich gleich um die Ecke ein Kombini Store, der alles bietet, was man auf die Schnelle benötigt. Unser Gastgeber Yoshinori erkundigte sich vor unserer Ankunft über unsere Anreisezeit, um vorgängig die Unterkunft vorzuwärmen, da es an unserem Ankunftstag leider ziemlich kalt war. So erwartete uns eine perfekt temperierte Unterkunft mit allem, was wir für unsere ersten Ferientage benötigten.

9人で泊まらせて頂きました。 大きいテレビがあり、アメニティーが充実していて、不便なく過ごすことが出来ました。

A fabulous stop on the Shimanami Kaido route, and the best AirBnB I've ever stayed in. Amazing views, luxury touches, and plenty of space after a day of riding. Far from stores and shops so be sure to stock up before going to the house.

The small town is full of historic buildings and lives at a leisurely pace. The name of the island, which can be reached in 5 minutes by ferry, is "Sensuijima" - "island where even immortals are overwhelmed by the sight"-. There is no better way to describe it. One small hint: Out of the season, it is pretty difficult to find a restaurant open after 17:00.

当日までのアナウンスが適切でした。街道からのアクセスを間違えましたが、すぐに見つけられました。広いリビングで開放感がありました。操作が悪かったのか地デジが映らなかったのが残念でした。とても良い宿泊施設でした！

Le logement de Taiga et Iku est génial ! Situé sur un petit chemin parallèle à un ruisseau qui descend à l’océan, il était extrêmement propre, dans le style traditionnel japonais, avec futons sur tatamis et table basse exactement comme sur les photos. Iku nous a accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse et nous a expliqué tout ce qu’il fallait pour nous sentir bien chez elle. Nous avions même du thé et de l’eau dans le frigo, ainsi que du café pour le matin. À 50 m de l’ocean, notre séjour (trop court !) dans ce logement a été une expérience japonaise authentique et formidable ! Merci encore, Iku pour votre gentillesse et votre accueil ! On recommande fortement.

Modern, clean and comfortable. Has everything you need for a short or long stay except maybe a large bed for a couple to share. Close to the beach, and walking distance to shops and the train station. Just be aware there is only stair access to the third floor. Good communication from the host though and we had no issues.

We stayed at Toshi's place two years in a row and couldn't be happier. The location is amazing being close to the beach, many cute shops and cafe, the train station and main street of Hase. The place is spotlessly clean and thoughtfully managed with all the amenities you need and more. Toshi is a great host and always responsive, and provided very clear instructions. We felt very welcome and highly recommend staying here!

I booked in the late winter so the greenery wasn't quite as verdant as the photo, but that's understandable. The condo with tatami sleeping area comes well-equipped with a very nice bathroom, kitchen, and sit-down outdoor gas grill on the patio for DIY teppanyaki. Note that access from the bus from Shimoda (which runs every hour or two) is best using the 2nd driveway (it has big "BBQ ⇧" painted on it); also there is currently a 9:24AM bus back which worked out great for the 10:15 Odoriko express back to Kanagawa-ken. I didn't try the adjacent BBQ restaurant with "Taco Cabana" (sounded great) but hope to the next time I get back to this very scenic part of Japan.

Love the location! Right in the middle of a really nice neighborhood with convenience stores and a grocery store within a walkable distance! Would love to stay here again with good weather for a few months on if I could! Maybe someday soon! 🙏🏾
