We spent 8 nights here, and found it to be perfect for our family of five (our kids are two teenagers and an 11yo). The kitchen had everything we could need/want, and then some--and the same was true for the enertainment/activity supplies (board games, Roku, beach chairs and towels, snorkeling equipment, tennis rackets/balls and a basketball and even a couple scooters). The pool and hot tub were beautiful (although the low-key vibe of the pool rules was a bit disappointing for our 11yo--but we made up for it by purchasing a day pass for the nearby Hilton pool a couple days), and the bar and restaurant at the pool were very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. We did our best to see the whole island, and this was a great home base for the week.

Our trip to Hawaii was perfect & it all started with Turtle House! Our stay there couldn’t have been more breathtaking or serene. When we come back to visit the island again I am going to make sure we can stay at Turtle House! This is a secure and peaceful gated resort. The unit was clean and comfortable. We had an issue with a dishwasher but had a prompt response and a credit since it was not fixed during our stay because of the holidays. The resort is located in a clean and quiet neighborhood, but there is not much you can do there: it is quite a walk to the ocean and nearby shops, so you definitely need a car to get around and enjoy Hawaii Kona Island. Ocean is only swimmable near Marriott resort, which is a 5 minutes drive. Parking with ocean access is available, but it is another 15-20 minutes walk. There are only a few nice beaches nearby. Hapuna Beach, for example, is 15-20 minutes drive. Other beaches in the area are rocky and dangerous for swimming. The pool in the resort is clean but small and crowded... But overall, we had a good family gathering and did enjoy our vacation.

Beautiful home, great location for a quiet vacation. There’s plenty of great relaxing beaches within a 20 minute radius. The home is fully equipped for beach days, has a stocked kitchen with pots and pans, a great top loading washer, front loading dryer and an awesome AC system that will keep you cool .There’s a few grocery stores around within 5-15 minutes, but if you’re looking to cook at home more there’s Safeway, Costco and Island Naturals about 40-45 minutes away that has more selection of foods. Planning ahead helps diminish the drives to the grocery store.

This place was incredible, more than enough room and so spacious, would easily recommend this location for anyone traveling to Kona, or surrounding areas as the drive anywhere is still well doable, very much worth the price and wish the best for this property!

Great place in calm area ! The host live near the Airbnb so if you need anything they are here to help. Great kitchen and well equipped (French press, toaster, blender ...). You can here the coqui frogs during the night, we liked it but if you like sleeping without noise maybe bring earplugs. We would definitely come back if you go around Kona again !

Just got back from a great vacation and stay at Patricia & Tony’s. The pictures and description of the place is very accurate and the hosts were great to communicate with and gave recommendations on anything I asked. It was a 2 minute walk to the nearest beach to watch sunsets and only about 12 minute walk to some fantastic snorkelling. This area is quiet and safe. The air conditioners in the living room and bedroom worked great and were appreciated. I would not be afraid to stay here again. We enjoyed the location because it felt like we were in the middle of things we wanted to see and not at 1 end of the island.

Place was better than the pictures and perfectly suited for a small group. Very comfortable home for hanging out, with an integrated living/dining/kitchen area. Great location that’s an easy walk to the main shops for food and groceries needs, as well as great local beaches, near the large resorts in the area.

We had a wonderful stay! The condo was in a lovely area with an ocean view and walking distance to a nice shopping center where we grabbed coffee each morning. The accommodations were beautiful and clean and equipped with everything we needed and more! The garage was stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and sand toys for guests to enjoy. The bbq wasn’t working the day we tried it, but was quickly swapped out the following day for a brand new one. We had a lovely time and would definitely stay again!

Loved our stay. It was easy and so convenient. It accomodated our family well. The pool was literally right next door. Parking was convenient and available during our stay. The bonus was the Hilton pass which was available during our stay. You get the perks of enjoying the Hilton resort which is AMAZING: pools,slides, fabulous views, dolphins. Then still come and have a pool next door. They have all the cooking utensils you need. Oh yeah! And the shopping center is right across the street which has a theater, restaurants, shopping, and a convenience store (similar to abc store).

Awesome Stay at Waikoloa Colony Villas 2404 My wife and I chose this villa for our 28th anniversary, and it was a great pick. The location’s perfect—just a 5-minute drive to the beach. The place was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed to settle in comfortably. Check-in was super easy, and the host was on top of things, always quick to respond. They provided beach chairs, a cooler, and snorkel gear, which made our trips to the beaches even better. We really enjoyed hanging out on the lanai in the evenings—great views and awesome weather for relaxing with a cold drink. Overall, it was a fantastic setup, and we had a good time. We’re already looking forward to coming back. If you need a nice spot in Waikoloa, this one’s a keeper.

Pros: The place was very comfortable and nice. The resort area was great. Our family had a great time. Nice that they provide beach gear. The grocery store at Queens Marketplace has many grab and go options that tasted great. The beach was a 15 minute walk. Cons: The AC and fans are very loud so we couldn't have them on while we slept. There wasn't hot water but I don't know if that's how it is here. The lights flickered in a few rooms.

This unit was well-appointed with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The patio area offered a peaceful retreat, surrounded by a lush grassy lawn, vibrant flora, and ample natural shade. Conveniently, the pool was located just across from the unit, adding to the overall ease and enjoyment of the experience.

I couldn't be happier with my experience. The location was ideal making it easy for me to commute to and from the Waikoloa resort where the Native Hawaiian Convention was held. The apartment was clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.

The house is in nice resort community in which has access to the beach that has breath taking sunset view, we enjoyed it every evening. The house has plenty of beds, which is very helpful for us to have good night sleep after all those fun activities we did. Air condition, fully equipped kitchen, and water activity equipments, all was very helpful. Very convenient location close by shopping, beaches, and airport. Brad was very kind, nice, and quickly responded. We stayed so comfortably as like home away home, we wish we stayed longer than 5 days.

We stayed in this place for couple of days and it was perfect. Stephanie is very friendly and the communication with her was great, also. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did ❤️

Perfect spot for getting around and extremely convenient. The house is beautiful and spotless. This house is great for families and I highly recommend staying here. My family had so much fun and loved our stay.

Loved the location, we were able to walk to the beach and watch our family take surf lessons from the house. Only want to mention that this isn’t a true 3 bedroom. The third bedroom is an entryway that doesn’t have a way to be fully closed off and the bed is a Murphy bed. The Murphy bed was comfortable

We enjoyed our first time in Kona:) it was the perfect place to stay! We loved it all!!

Awesome place to stay. Close to nice beaches and groceries. Plenty of room for the family. Loved the beach supplies in the garage - 4 beach chairs, coolers, water toys, tennis rackets, beach umbrella. Beach towels in the linen closet. Bed was so comfy. View of the smaller pool and mountains from the lanai. Thankful for aloe someone left behind. ;) Wish there was a receptacle for recycling. The condos are numbered a bit oddly, but just keep at it. Beautiful place and Amiee was beyond hospitable. Much Aloha!

Stayed at Matt’s for a family vacation. It was the perfect place to stay! Very comfortable and a nice place to relax and use as home base. We enjoyed the Hilton day passes, but ended up only using 1 day because there is so much to see and do on the Big Island. Matt’s place is just like AirBnb’s used to be with friendly hosts and nice amenities to last during your stay (e.g. kitchen supplies, soap/detergent, toilet paper, etc.). He also has nice beach supplies - chairs, some snorkeling equipment, floaters, etc. I would hands down stay here again!

My family and I stayed at Kal’s condo for one week in April. It was the perfect location, sitting right at the edge of all the restaurants and some beaches. We had a car but were able to walk to all these things in the downtown area. Even though it is close to everything, it being right on the outer edge allowed it to feel private. Woke up to bird songs every morning. Very peaceful. Kal was also very accommodating and easy to contact. We highly recommend their place. Next time we’re in Kona, we plan to rent it out again if it is available.
