Westport Cottage

A distinctive period cottage in a unique location with tastefully presented interior. This is one of only three cottages built on top of the old Saxon walls in Wareham. Originally there were six cottages, built between the mid and the late 1800s which have now been opened up into three. The cottage is the first one along a gravel footpath and is fronted by the Saxon dyke. Peaceful garden studio, newly renovated with Private entrance, En suite shower room, parking and garden access. Ideally situated on the outskirts of the Historic town of Wareham, the gateway to the Jurassic coast, within easy reach of Durdle door, Swanage, Lulworth Cove, Corfe castle and the Studland peninsular. There is a bus stop and 2 local shops a short walk away, and Wareham train station is within 1 mile. Wareham forest, with bike tracks/walking trails is accessed at the end of the road.

Purbeck Nook

Escape to our beautiful, newly decorated, one bedroom annexe on the outskirts of Wareham. Located on the edge of a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) our home and adjoining annexe sit in tranquil, leafy surroundings. You will have direct access onto the SSSI heathland where you will find a variety of wildlife including deer, foxes, sand lizzards and nightjars. We are a 5 minute drive from the convenience of Wareham town and have many beautiful landmarks, beaches and attractions nearby.

We are situated 6 miles from Dorchester, and within easy reach of many Dorset attractions; Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, Corfe Castle, The Purbeck Hills, Kimmeridge, Southwest Coastal Path, Bovington Tank Museum, Monkey World, Weymouth, Swanage.

This hut is called Primrose. King size bed with 100% cotton linen, with a choice of pillows. Kitchen with a microwave/grill, small fridge and hob. Underfloor heating. Full size shower and toilet within the hut. Outside shelter for washing dogs/boots and facilities for bike washing on site. Private parking and enclosed garden with out door seating. Welcome pack provided. Famous Jurassic Coast Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, Monkey World and the Tank Museum are close.
