A great place to stay and relax. Just what we were looking for. The place was great for a couple. Wendy was always available to answer any questions and recommend good places to go to eat or the best beach. If in the area we would stay again.

The condo we previously booked had to cancel last minute. Thankfully Christine allowed us to book with only a few hours notice. We have been coming to Hatteras for years, but this was the first time we came without our kids for our Anniversary. The location was perfect. Christine was very friendly, and responded immediately when I reached out to her. The condo is very clean and has a nice view of the sound. We had a great Anniversary weekend and we are so thankful we were able to have a place to stay with the short notice. I highly recommend!

Awesome place to stay, highly recommend! The Airbnb is exactly what it says it is and during peak tourism would be perfect to stay.

This was my third time staying at the Lily Pad. It is extremely clean and matches the description to a T. If you are a single or couple visiting the OBX, this is a perfect spot to stay.

This was a great stay for a peaceful weekend! The view of the sound is incredible with beautiful sunsets, the house had everything we needed, the owners were very responsive, and it was within walking distance to both the sound and the beach while also being close to some great restaurants. Exceeded my expectations!

Really enjoyed the condo it was a perfect base camp for a variety of activities in the OBX. There was a well stocked kitchen which was great as we did a lot of home meals. The condo was nicely decorated, and the beds were super comfy! James was easy to contact and communicated back quickly if asked a question. Was a great stay.

Fine spot. Elegant. Fine craftsmanship. Easy access to kiteboarding launch sites. Great views over the sound and perfect comet views as it turned out.

Our stay was lovely! Everything in the house is quality. Comfortable beds, quality kitchen supplies, convenient ice machine, lovely decks. Beauty in the details inside and outside the house. From a hose to wash your sandy feet before entry, baby gate at the stair, a wooden tray to carry your coffee and breakfast to the porch with views of the ocean, to throw blankets in every room for snuggling under while watching your favorite movie on the many selections. The dogs were comfy and so were the two kids. Puzzles and board games in the cupboard, beach towels and muslin bath towels to dry off. Loved everything about our stay. Steps away from the beach at any time and laying on the roof deck at night to watch the stars. Mark was extremely responsive, sending a short video on how to use the nest HVAC. Super comfortable pillows for both back and side sleepers. Blackout curtains helped for those who need them. We slept with the windows open every night enjoying the waves. Had a magical trip.

Our stay at Timothy’s place was excellent. The weather was terrible during our stay due to a tropical storm, but the beautiful house made up for the weather. Timothy has thoroughly thought of every detail in the home. It is beautifully furnished and decorated. It has a great outdoor space. There were plenty of televisions to keep everyone happy given the weather. The hot tub is frequently serviced and clean. It has a very nice outdoor tub as well. The outdoor showers are beautiful and well designed. He has hoses on every level to minimize tracking sand into the house. We felt very relaxed. We would definitely recommend Timothy’s place. Very responsive host. Timothy definitely cares about his property and the comfort of his guests. We would come back and recommend this house.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!! This has been our favourite Airbnb to have stayed in thus far. The privacy & the views have been unmatched. We had an incredible time relaxing as a family & look forward to staying here again in the future. We absolutely LOVED our time here & wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Three friends and I stayed at Sheila's place for a long weekend for our annual reflection and intention-setting retreat. My friend had stayed there previously with her family, so we knew from her experience that it would be a gem. But the house and Sheila still completely blew away my expectations. The house and setting is absolutely stunning - amazing sunsets and views. Sheila was the perfect host and incredibly helpful with so, so many details. I can't recommend this place more. I hope to stay there again in the future.

Was a cute little house near all the beaches and about 20 minutes to jockey state park. Would definitely stay again if I were in the area :)

It was especially clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was efficient with new appliances and granite counters. The bathroom also had granite counters. It too, was an efficient use of space with storage. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom had plenty of storage. It is very close to the beach, restaurants, the ferry, and shopping. The property has a pool, too. We enjoyed the walking paths around the property that wind around a marsh area. Office staff is on hand to answer questions.

Great place with great hosts

If we could leave 6 stars we would. The view was so amazing - we spent hours just looking out at the sound. We booked two extra nights and the host was very accommodating. The apartment was so clean and the furnishings were simple and modern. We cannot say enough about this apartment.

We loved this condo! The location is incredible for nature lovers as it sits right on the edge of Jockey’s Ridge State Park, and it was just a short drive to Nags Head Wildlife Refuge. We really appreciated having a nice sound system to listen to records on, and we enjoyed the faux fireplace at night. If we had stayed longer, we would definitely have used the included YMCA passes, but we spent most of our time either outdoors on walks or relaxing in the condo. We prepared all of our meals in the kitchen and had everything we needed. Heidi was an excellent host. She was friendly and communicative and generous in her accommodation of our specific needs. We would absolutely return here again.

The condo has direct access to the ocean beach with a balcony that’s great for watching the sunrise. We traveled as three adults with a four-year-old and a seven-year-old, and the room with bunkbeds and the double bed were perfect. The king bedroom has a window with the ocean view, that was just spectacular. The kitchen is fully equipped, and we cooked a few dinners. The place is very nicely decorated with a beach/sealife theme. Everything worked out great, we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location for us. Lovely view from her cozy porch and everything you need is right there. The restaurant at the marina was perfect for dinner after a day of fishing.
