Had an amazing stay with the family. We had lots to do from hikes to bon fires. Everything you need from grocery, gas, food and lcbo is less than a 5 min drive from the place. Over all would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Had a great stay at Nick's place. The cottage is beautiful inside and out, and we'd absolutely visit again.

Greg’s place is incredible, we would all go back in a heartbeat! Greg is a great host, always responsive and he made sure we had great stay. The place itself is beautiful, has a lot amenities and it’s super cozy. Beds are very comfortable and every space clean and well taken care of. Definitely recommended.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful lake house! The location was peaceful and scenic—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Waking up to the view of the lake and spending time by the water was such a treat. The house was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our host was responsive, friendly, and made sure everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet escape into nature. Great cozy place. Beautiful view of the lake from the main living room. Place is clean and has everything you need. Hot tub was super clean and easy to use. Beautiful property and lots of room to explore. The only downside is the highway noise, but you can’t hear anything inside the cottage. Would recommend to anyone who’s looking for a cozy nesting cottage with a view, this is your place.

Wonderful cottage, in a perfect location. Gorgeous and peaceful lake front, with a bon fire spot overlooking it. Everything was nearly brand new (appliances, large tv, hot tub, bbq) Kayaks were great to use to explore the Lake. Friendly general store 5 mins away. Amazing sunset. Foosball. Don’t hesitate.

We had a cozy and fun stay at this beautiful cottage. The cottage is newly built, very clean, and well designed. It provided us everything we needed and more! 4 comfortable bedrooms that were quiet enough for us to be there with a 1-year-old. Lorie is a very thoughtful host and was quick to answer any questions we had. The lake was still frozen when we were there but it looks like a great spot to canoe and swim. Already discussing when we can return!

Words cannot describe how impressed we were with Laughing Moose. The minute I walked in the front door I felt I could live here for ever. The incredible views, the spacious kitchen the stylish little pieces of decor make this place comfortable, relaxing and luxury. Janice pays attention to every little detail to ensure we had a fabulous time! From the selection of quality glasses, crockery and cooking utensils to the games and puzzles ( we completed a full jig saw puzzle between us) we had everything we could possibly need and much more. Even a thoughtful and delicious blueberry pie to welcome us !! We were visiting from Australia and planned this weekend with our two sons and families for a getaway together. It couldn’t have been more perfect and we made such fabulous memories. So much space for all 8 of us plus the 2 dogs! I can’t thank you enough for this special visit! Amazing cottage! unique and thoughtful! loved it!

A lovely and relaxing cottage in a serene landscape. Truly enjoyed our stay and hope to return back one day.

It was our second time staying at this cottage, and both times in the winter. It’s been 3 years since we came here before, and a few things had some general wear, like the outdoor transport wagons etc. But it was mostly the way we remembered it. Some issues with the tv, dvd set up, ( we couldn’t locate the dvd remote or find the Xbox.), but we LOVE this cottage and the hosts are so responsive and welcoming and have made the kabin’s interiors so magical and thoughtfully considered. Even though it was a very snowy wintery stay, there was still lots to do in the area. Our favourite spots are the sculpture forest, the wolf Center, and a day trip to Bancroft! Highly recommend this magical spot.

We spent New Year’s at Leah’s place, and it was absolutely amazing. Her guest house is so cozy, and she’s an incredible hostess. Not to mention, her place is dog-friendly, which made it even better! It was such a memorable way to ring in the new year.

We had a lovely stay at the Willow cottage. The lake is beautiful and the property is gorgeous! Jeff brought us whatever we needed. Would highly recommend this cottage. The space is great for 2 families to share, kitchen is fully equipped, unlike other Airbnbs we have rented. Thank you for hosting us and our USA friends.

Tammy was the sweetest, most helpful hist to my parents. I booked this place for their 1 year anniversary weekend and they were in love. She left them a cute note and got them a bottle of wine to celebrate. They loved the space so much and felt right at home and didn't want to leave. Tammy thank you SO much for your hospitality and taking such good care of my parents. They will absolutely be back!!

Josh and Alyssa are great hosts. They are friendly and responsive, and made our stay easy and enjoyable. Their place is set up well, with lots of things to do inside and out. Not to mention, their rates are very reasonable. I would recommend staying with them.

Our stay was perfect, chalet had everything you could ask for and more! We stayed for work so we didn’t get a chance to go to the beach, or play any of the ample board games, but the kitchen was wonderfully stocked and the shower had great water pressure! Could not have asked for a better stay!

What a great spot The Rogers Retreat is! Such cozy spaces inside for family hangouts, and a beautiful view of the lake. We appreciated all the amenities and comfy furniture. It was the perfect backdrop to our cousins' reunion. Chris was a welcoming host - very accessible and great communication. Thanks for everything!

Davids place was beautiful and made for an enjoyable stay for our group visit. He was responsive and provided all additional details both in our chats as well as leaving a small booklet in the cottage itself highlighting places of interest nearby. The firepit and the gazebo are the most impressive parts of the property. Wifi coverage inside the cottage was fantastic and was very useful for any further research since the cellular network coverage is spotty at best. Bon Echo is just about a 20 minute drive away and there are more places within a 1 hour radius though we chose to mostly have a leisurely time on the property itself. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, private fun time in the middle of nature.

This cottage is a firm favourite of ours, and once again, we had an absolutely wonderful stay. Everything was exactly as we remembered – clean, welcoming, and beautifully maintained. The atmosphere is so cosy and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of city life. We always look forward to coming back, and this visit was no exception. We can't wait to return again soon for another peaceful getaway!

Staying at Julia’s place was a great experience ! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described (if not better). The space was cozy, stylish, and had all the thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. Julia was an exceptional host—super responsive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure we had a great experience.

What a great place. Stephen was fantastic and a great communicator. The place was lovely. Bright, comfortable and cozy. We felt at home right away. Loved the outdoor space, the view and the chairs right by the water. The ice had just gone out so we couldn't swim, but we all talked about how great it would be to swim off that dock and use all the water toys. We all agreed it was the perfect getaway. We also all agreed that Stephen has thought of everything - clear instructions, great notices, all the things you need in a kitchen etc. It is clear that he knows what he is doing!

My family of 11 (parents, grandparents, siblings, kids) had a lovely stay over Thanksgiving weekend. The cabins were so well stocked with everything you could possibly need for cooking etc, and Janet was quick to respond to any concerns and questions we had during our stay. The weather was lovely, the cabins were so charming and comfortable, and we couldn't have asked for better weather. We would absolutely consider coming back again.

It's a very cute and peaceful place to stay. It's surrounded by lots of foliage to ensure privacy, and I love all the small touches around the place. I would definitely love to come back in the summertime to experience all the trails and conservation areas.
