We had a wonderful stay here. The outdoor space was picturesque and the indoor space was equally as nice. The complimentary parks pass and proximity to Algonquin was a huge bonus. We only wished we had stayed longer :)

This is a great place to stay. The inside is beautiful, super clean and great place to hang out in. Beds are comfortable. Washrooms are nice, clean and have what you need. Kitchen is well stocked, nice to cook in. Common area is very comfortable and the wood burning stove is a great touch. The outside property is super private and an amazing place to walk around. The fire pit is a great way to pass the time. Although we did not end up using the hot tub, it looked very clean. If you’re looking to get away and relax, stay here.

We and our dogs had a fantastic stay over the Thanksgiving weekend! The cottage was very clean, spacious and had everything you needed. We loved using the wood burning sauna and the fire pit and appreciated that the firewood was provided. Rebecca responded very quickly to any questions we had. I would highly recommend this cottage.

This was my second stay at this location, and again it did not disappoint. The hosts are incredibly thoughtful with the small touches, and in our case this time they braved a true blizzard to ensure the Valentine's hot tub was available. The location is perfect. The view is perfect. It's a cozy place in the winter (I've been both times in the winter), but I can tell it would be and incredible summer stay.

We had a great time. Sir Sam’s ski hill nearby. Hot tub was great for those days when ski hill was not an option. There is fast internet at the cottage. Very private and quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

I had a wonderful stay at John’s property in Minden! The space was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything needed for a relaxing getaway. The peaceful surroundings and beautiful natural setting made it the perfect escape from the city. John was an excellent host—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful throughout my stay. I truly appreciated the little touches that made the experience feel extra special. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Minden. We stayed at Jube’s beautiful cottage for our anniversary. The place was so clean and looked even better than in pictures. Unfortunately the weather was still quite cold so the lake was still frozen over, would love to come back in the summer months and enjoy the lake which is right in the backyard! Would definitely stay at one of Jube’s properties again.

We had a fabulous time at the Rivers Edge Cottage!It is a beautiful, spacious cottage! We had a gorgeous view of the river while soaking in the hot tub! Everyone had a blast playing in the games room where we had ping pong, fooze ball and air hockey tournaments! The Cinema room has a giant big screen tv and state of art premium surround sound system where we had 2 movie nights! The hosts graciously provide free Netflix & Amazon! Our favourite thing to do was sit by the fireplace and play cards! With the record snow falls, Elizabeth and Grant ensured the cottage was professionally plowed before our arrival and upon leaving! Overall, it was such a pleasure dealing with Elizabeht and Grant! They are incredibly friendly, responsive and took care of our every need while we stayed at the cottage. They are very easy to communicate with and very approachable! Best hosts on Airbnb! We built incredible memories at Rivers Edge and would highly recommend this cottage!

Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux dans cet appartement au bord de l'eau. L'emplacement est parfait pour se reposer et profiter de la nature environnante. L'arrivée et le départ se sont faits sans encombre grâce à l'organisation impeccable des hôtes. De plus, l'appartement était d'une propreté irréprochable. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

I can’t say enough other than I felt like we went to our families house for the weekend. Her and her husband made us feel right at home. She had homemade brownies waiting for us and greeted us when we arrived. There was nothing missed in the way they have this set up. The most above and beyond experience with a beautiful breakfast. I would highly recommend staying here.

Everything was great from beginning to end. Easy to check-in and everything was just as the pictures showed. The view was incredible and the weather couldn't have been better. Wilhelmina was very quick to respond to any questions and Tim who is the site manager was very friendly and helpful. Definitely looking forward to returning again soon!

Absolutely great place, the views are amazing, so much to do, the grounds are kept so beautiful and the inside or the Airbnb was exactly as described and shown in the pictures. Definitely recommend it

Wonderful experience from start to the end. Lisa goes above and beyond with best accommodation and recommendations. Felt like we came home and enjoyed peaceful and beautiful surroundings. My favorite place was by the dock, surrounded by clear waters and greenery for miles. We had enjoyed taking daily canoe trips, visiting waterfall as per Lisa’s recommendation! Thanks again! The Nest was the perfect spot to stay for a March Break workshop at Haliburton School of Art & Design. Clean, welcoming and nicely appointed. The bed was super comfortable. It was quiet and the kitchen had everything I needed. Andria and Larry were great at communicating. It’s also a short walk into town. Would definitely stay there again.
