This was a great little place to stay for 2 months (Feb-april). Daphne was a great host, and was always responsive. Being a winter rental there are always little things that happen and they were fixed right away. The house is an older house in the country and felt peaceful. Internet was fast and the house was warm. Unfortunately we could not walk to the ocean, when the snow melted there was a puddle that you could not go around. Would stay again.

We had a great stay! We visited with 4 adults, a baby and a dog and we had lots of space to hang out in the main area. Sherbrooke village is just minutes away. Very peaceful and quiet area. Definitely recommend :)

Absolutely stunning! Right on the water, great views, watched deer in the yard... The screened in porched was awesome, the back porch with Propane fire pit is a great touch. Bedrooms and bathroom were clean. Beds were very comfortable. Can't wait to book again

Staying at Cheryl’s was absolutely wonderful and just what we were needing after our few weeks of travel! Everything in her home was so well thought-out ( including water and treats upon our arrival ), a well-stocked kitchen, cozy bedding and living space…and even a swing for us to enjoy our morning coffee on at sunrise at the water’s edge…. We enjoyed our stay at Lori's place. It was a beautiful, peaceful and calming space. It was clean and there was everything you could need. We really enjoyed having a fire on the beach. We hope to come back again!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour d'un mois, la maison voici les points forts: Résidence bien située pour découvrir l'Île du Cap Breton et ses alentours. Endroit très calme et éloigné des voisins, juste en face de la marina. Belle résidence, très propre, pleine de belles fenêtres, confortable et bien climatisée Foyer extérieur et pergolas très appréciés. Tous les services et restaurations sont à moins d'un kilomètre La nature est très présente tout autour de la maison (cerf, renards, écureuils, crabes, cormorans, hérons, geai bleu, martin pêcheur, etc..). Les points à tenir en compte: Absence de rideau dans la chambre à coucher principale. Absence de moustiquaire dans toutes les fenêtres alors, ont choisi les moustiques ou l'air climatisée. Table à manger pour seulement 6 personnes assises (annoncé; maximum de 8 voyageurs). Cuisine très sommairement équipée Beaucoup d'ampoules sont brûlées à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur et aucune Un gros merci à nos hôtes pour le séjour!

Es wahr einfach wunderbar! Sehr sauber und es wahr alles da was man braucht! Sogar Waschtabs für die Wäsche! Wir wahren zwei Wochen unterwegs und wollten uns eine gemütliche ruhige bleibe gönnen! Die Erwartungen haben sich übertroffen! Nick wahr immer erreichbar und hat und per Nachricht alles gut erklärt! Hat auch zwischendurch nachgefragt ob alles gut sei. Was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Immer wieder gern!

Great spot to stay. In town for work- good location, close to the hospital and town. Not the most sound proof from the family/kids upstairs but it’s great other than that! Would recommend if you’re looking for a cozy spot to stay.

The East River Retreat was a great place to stay during my time in Sheet Harbour. Rebekah and Will provided clear instructions on how to find the property and enter the Airbnb. I arrived late at night and they had turned on the lights for my arrival which was very kind. I was in the area for work so opted to cook at the property a couple of times and they have the kitchen area very well stocked with every item that you could need or expect at an Airbnb. Would 100% recommend this property if you find yourself in the area!

The space was very lovely and relaxing. Everything you need to enjoy your stay. Enjoyed the view of the water. Nancy was very responsive with inquiries.

We really enjoyed our stay here. beautiful, quiet and close to the beach. Exactly what we were looking for.

My family and I spent a delightful few days in this location. The surrounding area offers wonderful opportunities for walks to admire forest wildlife, with the path to the beach being our favorite. In summary, the apartment and the general area provide the perfect setting to disconnect and relax in comfort. The weather in the month of April is absolutely ideal in this place.

Being pet friendly and having a large fenced in area for them to run around in was very nice.

We absolutely love staying in this wonderfully cared for and peaceful cabin! Christine and Jeremie are such welcoming and responsive hosts, we never worry about a thing. When we land we're worn out and exhausted but once we leave we feel rested and restored. Many, many thanks to Christine and Jeremie for sharing their small slice of paradise with us. We always look forward to our next visit!

The idea was to chill out and recharge by the lake - and that's what happened. We had a terrific time and the staff were so responsive and helpful. Hot tub was excellent and looking out on a stunning view. Great little touches like a welcome gift for Archie the dog too which always helps!

Everything was perfect! There’s everything we needed and even more! Cozy and great place! The hosts were very responsive and attentive to our questions and feedbacks!

Brenda’s place was just as described - a comfy cozy cottage. Very clean, modern, aesthetically pleasing and comfortable.

We had a lovely stay, the weather wasn't great so the covered hottub was bliss even in the rain. The cabin was very clean and cozy, and lots of privacy for hottub. We'll likely book again in the future. The movie snacks left by host were a nice little touch. Thanks so much for a wonderful weekend stay ☺️
