Tuvimos problemas un poco para el ingreso por que íbamos en carros separados con mis familiares por las normas de la residencial , pero se movieron rápido y nos ayudaron sin tema lo demás súper bien limpio , buena ubicación todo muy tranquilo

Great house to stay with family and friends. Plus a pool is awesome. Definitely in the center of Antigua walkable everywhere and price was great!

Beautiful well maintained property. Very easy and fast responses from them. We were very impressed by the size of the swimming pool. The casita was a great place for my brother and his family (they are great swimmers). The orchids, and their orchid's nursery were very well maintained. The neighborhood is very secure and private, easy to work to all locations in Antigua Guatemala, specially over Holy Week.

The house was absolutely beautiful, comfortable, and conveniently located to everything. The courtyard was our go to spot for morning, afternoon, and evening family talks. I wouldn't have wanted to experience Antigua, Guatemala anywhere else. This was the perfect location for me and my family to spend the days leading up to my son's wedding. PERFECTION.

There were only three of us, and it felt like we were living in a majestic castle! It would be the perfect place for a large group. Philippa's place was fabulous in every way. After my last stay in Antigua many years ago, I was prepared for lots of street noise. Instead, the home was entirely quiet and tranquil. The hardworking staff was fun to chat with, and we requested Myda to cook breakfasts for us so we didn't have to wait for our groggy teenager to wake up. The hot tub was delightful and surrounded by gorgeous flowers. The location of the townhome is central to Antigua. I had worried that it was out of the way, but it's right off one of the main streets of the city. There are a variety of restaurants close, and there is a grocery store (La Bodegona) close as well. We paid a daily fee to go the Antigua Gym most days and loved it. I have already recommended Philippa's home to many people and hope to visit again.

Un lugar muy bonito, fácil de encontrar, el lugar es exactamente como se ve en las fotografías, el orden y la limpieza del lugar fue impecable cuando llegamos, se nos hizo un lugar muy accesible para poder ver la procesión del Quinto Domingo de Cuaresma y poder vivir al máximo la experiencia de ver alfombras y la procesión a menos de una cuadra del apartamento.

Excellent location, can walk to gym, shopping, and even to Parque Centro (10-15 mins). Apt has hot water, which is very desirable, although the pressure is a little weak but still nice. The city cut the water a few times during my stay, but host turned on the pump and water worked fine after that, just have to communicate when that happens. Host was 5/5 with everything, even includes sheltered parking if you need it, although the street is easy and accessible. Overall great apartment to stay long term, it’s comfortable and close to everything you need. 5/5 will return next time!

El Solar was a wonderful place to stay while visiting Antigua. It is centrally located on a quiet street a couple blocks away from Arco de Santa Catalina and within easy walking distance of several attractions as well as pick up points for out of town excursions. Despite arriving around 9PM, we were able to check in and access the unit via lock box. The apartment was well equipped and comfortable for 4 adults. The apartment included Wi-Fi and a 5 gallon water dispenser which were both extremely helpful to have. The host was very responsive through the AirBnb App. During our stay, we ran into a small issue that the host immediately addressed. We were also able to store our bags in the host's office for a few hours after checkout. The host was also able to put us in contact with a private driving service that transported us to and from the airport for a reasonable cost. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here and we look forward to returning the during our next visit.

Very good value. Host was very responsive. Place is larger than it looks in the photos and has actual hot running water, which is rare in Guatemala. Lots of helpful amenities like paper towels, large coffee maker and non slip mat for shower. The fireplace is functional and it has a rain shower head.

Great affordable stay in Zona 4 on Guatemala City 🇬🇹

There are few times I leave an airbnb and want to come back, and this is one of those exceptions. Karel and Andy (the home co-hosts) went above my expectations of host communications, with Karel answering all my questions in Airbnb app and Andy texting me to make sure all was OK during my stay. They even have a driver they recommend their guests to use to come from the Aurora airport, and he was phenomenal as well. As for the house, I was shocked at its decor (two Virgin Mary statues, typical Guatemalan hats on display in the dining room wall and a beautiful mural). It also had an amazing terrace looking at the volcanoes where you can relax under the sun or watch the sunset. I was also surprised at how comfortable the beds were. The area was very walkable and the lock system on the door made us feel safe (we were a group of girls traveling so we always want to be the safest possible). The house also has a full kitchen and a comfortable living room area. Amazing stay!

Davis’s place was as pictured. It was in a great quiet location. Short walk to everything. The rain shower was very nice. The bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay at David’s again the next time I’m in Antigua. Thank you for sharing your place!

Always magical here. Second time staying, and our group loved it. Eric helps with everything, his cooks are the best, and his transport is the nicest to get to the lake. Highly recommend!

Great property in a perfect location. Within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The villa was huge, nicely decorated and extremely clean. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked and there were a few pleasant surprises, like coffee and teas, plenty of shampoos and shower gels, an ample supply of dishes and kitchenware and extra blankets and pillows. The host was extremely responsive, always responding within minutes. We had a wonderful stay!

This place exceeded our expectations, it was even more beautiful than the photos! The living space is spacious and breathtaking, with a stunning yard that offers an unobstructed view of the volcano. The kitchen was fantastic, and we loved spending our evenings cooking dinner and grilling on the barbecue. Every night, we used the temazcal (like a sauna), which made our stay even more special. Lesley and the groundskeeper were incredibly responsive, kind, and made us feel right at home. Lesley also shared local recommendations and kept us informed about daily events in San Marcos. An unforgettable stay, we wish we could have stayed longer!

We loved our stay! How amazing To wake up to beautiful views of volcanoes but be close to the city with the help of the included and inexpensive driver! We had food brought up with the help of them and were able to disconnect while exploring Antigua! What a gem! Those they employee to help with The house are so responsive and go out of the way to make the stay perfect! I definitely recommend this if heading to Antigua!

The villa was just as beautiful as pictured in the photos, the home was spotless with beautiful surroundings and is an overall wonderful place to relax, take in the nature, and have a true vacation away from home. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was perfect! La villa era tan hermosa como se veía en las fotos. La casa estaba impecable, con un entorno precioso, y es un lugar maravilloso para relajarse, disfrutar de la naturaleza y disfrutar de unas auténticas vacaciones lejos de casa. El personal fue extremadamente amable y servicial. ¡Todo fue perfecto!

The house and location are beautiful. The groundskeeper is always available and willing to help, checking on us on a daily basis. The host provided tour services and was very communicative. The house is clean but there is some room for improvement. Please note: the house has a lot of steps/stairs, which is typical on a lake front property around Atitlan, but if you are traveling with an elderly group or disable guest, I would suggest staying at a hotel with accessible amenities. That said, we enjoyed our stay here, the views, amenities, and hot tub. PS: This is our second time in Atitlan, and we felt the prices of several services have gone up by a large margin (laundry services, home made meals, transportation (boat and Tuk Tuk), tours). Prices are going up globally so we expected a change but not as much. Expect to pay a tourist tax but pay attention. As a family, we support the local economy, and are aware and okay with paying extra but nobody likes feeling taken advantage of.
