This was the perfect secluded getaway. The privacy, the nearby river, and the fire pit made it everything we needed to relax and unwind. Being tucked away in the mountains gave it a peaceful, remote feel, yet we were still just a short drive from great wineries and breweries. It was the ideal mix of nature and local charm—our stay was truly remarkable.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin ! It is beautifully decorated (in details), cosy, bright, clean and well furnished. It had a luxurious feel to it. We had everything we needed. Mollie is a great, friendly and responsive host. We very much appreciated the breakfast goodies and bottle of local wine waiting for us. The cabin is situated on well groomed and peaceful grounds. We enjoyed eating on the deck at sunset and relaxing in the hot tub, contemplating the stars. We would highly recommend the cabin.

Carmen was an amazing host! Her place was a great spot for a getaway right outside Shenandoah. The hot tub was very nice after a day out hiking. The kitchen was well equipped to make meals and the fire place was nice to relax beside. Bed was comfortable! Definitely a great place to stay!

This was our first trip as a family of 3. We took our 5 month old to this place and it was fantastic. It was peaceful and quite by the lake and the hot tub was great relaxing time. The management company was responsive throughout our entire stay. Location was great as it was located just a short drive to locate wineries/breweries/restaurants. We really enjoyed out 3 night 4 day stay out in nature!

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! The home was spotless and well-maintained, which made us feel comfortable right away. The amenities were so fun, especially the hot tub and the beautiful outdoor space, which were perfect for relaxing. We didn’t get a chance to use the firepit this time, but it’s definitely on our list for when we return. The host was also incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

This place was beautiful, clean, and had everything you could need in amenities. We had a wonderful time with family and we hope to stay again on our next visit to the area. The owner thought of everything to make us feel at home and comfortable.

Our family had a great time, kids played with the toys in the shed, fished in the creek, soaked in the hot tub, projected home alone on the wall and listened to records. Mom and I sat by the fire or in the beautiful screened porch with the patio heater on and enjoyed the cleanliness of the place. No one was around but us. Its striking distance to Lurray Caverns and at the foot of Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive, great location. Cell phone reception was none existent, had to turn on wifi calling and get directions before getting in the car. The wood from the shed was ample but it had trouble catching fire and staying lit so we bought some in town, no problem. The water had an awful metal and egg smell that Jason tried to fix but we didn't let him know until the night before our last day. Im sure he'll get it sorted. Everything about this house is well appointed, prepped and ready to go, which is saying a lot given how many goodies there are on the property. Easy to recommend.

Exceeded my expectations! The cabin was so peaceful. It’s ideal if you’re wanting the real rustic cabin feel. No lights out at night, just the stars — it was a beautiful view from the porch. The host and team are really friendly and communicative! The cabin has board games, fully equipped kitchen, and plenty of fire wood for the furnace or fire pit just outside the cabin. The ranch has some trails nearby too! We really enjoyed the skeet shooting and horse trail ride! A must-do if you’re staying! We’ll definitely be back!

We had a great stay at the cabin, such a beautiful setting! Loved the privacy and the dogs especially appreciated the fenced in yard. Hosts were quick to respond if we had any questions. The cabin had a great layout, very easy to feel right at home. The rain shower in the bathroom was definitely hard to leave! Very convenient to Charlottesville, restaurants (Jack’s nearby was a favorite for Bfast/lunch!), and walks. Would rent again!

The property was lovely and accommodated our group of 7 very comfortably. We enjoyed our time at what the kids deemed “the best red roofed cabin!”

We had a peaceful weekend at the cabin with our kids. Easy drive to Charlottesville, and close to Skyline Drive. We loved the fire pit! Would return.

I absolutely loved my stay here. It was comfortable, relaxing, safe, and very clean. Host communication was on point and all the amenities were accessible and in great condition. Truly a 5 star stay.

If you're looking for a place to stay this is it. Close to everything you need and still far enough away! Jessie is quick at responding and her house is clean and super comfy! We will definitely be returning!

We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was just as described in the listing and perfect for four people & two GSDs. The dogs especially loved all the space to play outside. The fire pit is picture perfect. It took us about 45 minutes to get to the Byrd Visitor Center in Shenandoah National Park. Bald Top Brewing was a great recommendation. Our only complaint was the over abundance of carpenter bees around the perimeter of the cabin. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at this cabin during our kids’ spring break. We went hiking in Shenandoah National Park and visited Charlottesville. We were able to make meals at the cabin and relax by the fire pit. The cabin is surrounded by trees and feels private and peaceful. The books, art supplies and DVD collection were great in the absence of WiFi. The decor is beautiful and everything felt brand new and well kept. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into creating an aesthetically pleasing and enjoyable space. We highly recommend this place.

Would definitely stay again! The Mountain View’s were spectacular! Very quiet and secluded. Just what we needed to have at the time.

We had a great stay at Stacey's place! As described, it is pretty tiny, but Stacey has made good use of the small space and you have all the basics needed for a nice, comfortable stay. I would not plan to cook an elaborate meal or spend much time indoors but if you are looking for a comfortable crash pad in proximity of the local attractions it fits the bill!

This cabin is perfectly located in Shenandoah. From the rush of the creek, the singing of the birds, and the serenity the cabin presents this place is a 10/10. The pictures don’t do enough justice. The cabin is beautifully put with plenty of space. I will forever recommend this gem.

Every year we go we remember why we return, the tranquility and relaxation everything is in that place, some time we back 2 or 3 time at year

Absolute fantastic place to stay and recharge your batteries in nature. Everything that was listed in the offer was available in the cabin. The hot tub was fantastic and kitchen was fully equipped as the next restaurant is quite a bit to drive so staying home was the better option. The only minor thing that could be improved is to have a bigger size bed in the master bed room as we were not used to sleep in a smaller bed:) . Looking forward to coming back.
