We had a lovely few days with our 2 kids at The Artist’s Retreat over the Easter bank holiday weekend. An amazing place if you are looking for a bit of down time with your family… very well designed and beautifully decorated place. We did day trips to Bath and The Cotswolds to go back and enjoy the hot tub in the evenings. Kate was a great host! Thank you ☺️

What a fantastic find. Not even a 10 minute drive to longleat and 30 minutes to Bath. A beautiful home from home. The perfect place to visit with children, with books, toys and equipment. We cannot wait to come back.

Stunning location! I visited here with my husband and two young children and it was perfect for a little family getaway. The weather was definitely on our side too! The lake was so peaceful, we loved everything about the accommodation. We visited Bourton-on-the-water, Chichester Park, Cotswold Country Farm and more. We will definitely be returning!

When looking at this property, I initially felt it appeared fairly expensive. However having finished my stay, I can confirm that it was so worth it. The hosts were easy to communicate with, made accessing the location easy and even offered several food packages from the on site butchers. The property itself was beautiful, in such a lovely and private location. The large TV equipped with Netflix & Music and log burner makes for a cosy night in after using the outdoor kitchen and BBQ and hot tub. The property was cleaned to a great state and everything was in good condition. The facilities provided are far beyond what you would expect in an Airbnb. We had such a lovely and relaxed evening. We had a wonderful stay - the cottage is very homely. We had two under two with us and the wildlife walking distance from the cottage was a lovely bonus.

Superior 3 bedroom lakeside Lodge with everything you could wish for. Everything was fantastic plus gorgeous weather which enhanced our experience. A peaceful and beautiful accommodation to stay in and loveky outside balcony overlooking a lovely small lake with all sorts of wildlife. Thoroughly enjoyed. X

A lovely cottage that was clean and well equipped. Plenty of room for 7 of us and great to have 3 shower/bathrooms and 2 dining areas, so there was room to spread out. The garden was an extra bonus for the children. Great Rissington is a really charming village and within half an hours drive of lots of attractions for both adults and children. Good to have The Lamb pub just down the road. Would recommend.

Wonderful house with beautiful decor and everything you could possibly need for a short or long stay. Very comfortable beds and bathrooms were perfect. Lovely outdoor space and plenty of off road parking. Pub only a few mins walk away which served nice dinners. We will definitely be coming back to stay here soon!
