This was a family Christmas getaway, and it was perfect.

Craig was awesome and extremely nice and understanding! The house was clean and one of the best I have stayed in. The location is quiet and tucked in a small neighborhood. I had the most amazing stay and would suggest this to anyone going to this location!

Beautiful location with great views while sitting by fire pit or even from inside house. Split level allows for some alternative sleeping arrangements which worked great for us. A home away from home for our 2024 family Christmas! We came together from Florida, Georgia, and Montana to see and celebrate with our newly transplanted Rhode Island family and Kenneth’s home was perfect for us! Kenneth was very responsive and very kind; flexible, too. He went out of his way on more than one occasion to help. There was plenty of room for everyone. We even cooked Christmas dinner in the kitchen! The quiet upstairs was ideal for our infant granddaughter at nap time. The location could not have been more perfect for our purposes.

House was a 10/10 and hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating. We’re looking forward to staying here again!

We came to town for the marathon and Mary and Dwight’s place had the comfy couch and beds we needed for a relaxing recovery. They were proactive and responsive hosts and had easy check in and check out instructions! We enjoyed our stay in Newport and several of their local recommendations.

Such a lovely time and Chris & Cynthia’s! Cynthia was so communicative leading up to our stay and kindly greeted us upon arrival for a quick walkthrough of the property. They were so accommodating and easy going with check in times and were so pet friendly! Loved staying here!

Great apartment in the heart of Newport! The apartment was very clean and looked exactly as pictured. Perfect size for a group of 2-3. As stated in the listing, there is one bedroom with a bed and one pull out couch. I stayed with my group of 3 and this arrangement was perfect for us. Cohost Deb was very responsive and answered all questions/communicated with me before, during and after the stay. There were plenty of linens, towels, and other essentials. There are many restaurants, bars, convenient stores and entertainment walking distance from the apartment. I would highly recommend staying here, we had no issues and were very comfortable and pleased with our stay. Side note: this apartment is on the 2nd floor, there is a bar next door on the first floor and it can get nosey, if this is an issue for you I would suggest noise canceling headphones or ear plugs - the louder night of the week for us was Saturday.

Cozy, comfortable, perfect location for exploring the "cottages" and the cliff walk. Was also quiet and residential, though just a few minutes from restaurants and the main touristy street. We didn't have a car and didn't feel we were missing out. Also, as others have said, the bed was so comfortable - I'm already thinking about going back!! And the chocolates and tea were such a lovely touch!

We loved Paul's place as it was very accessible to Thames street. Plus it was able to accomodate my big family. It was also nice that there is parking space available as it is difficult to find a parking in Newport. Paul responded very quickly too when we encountered a power outlet issue in one of the bedroom. We enjoyed our stay and had made my family's first trip to Newport a great one. Thank YOU!

We enjoyed our stay and the apartment, and it was exactly as listed. It was very clean and tidy. Fiona was very responsive with communication and made it easy to get in touch with her if we needed to. We would definitely recommend staying at this property.

Location is great - steps away from Thames St. It was clean and the staff are very friendly. They checked in daily to make sure we had everything we needed.

I grew up in the area and know Newport well. After a wedding on Cape Cod, we were looking for a place to unwind for a few days. (1) The location is great; right off Thames St. in the heart of downtown, and right down the street from the Vanderbilt (great hotel bar, restaurant, and roof deck) -- that said, we visited in October when Newport isn't crowded; I can imagine it might be a bit noisy in the summer. (2) David was a very responsible host. (3) The apartment, though small (as are most of them in the colonial section of downtown Newport) was well kitted out (in the summer, the washer/dryer would be a real plus; ditto for the small back patio). (4) If you want to stay in and watch shows/videos, it's well equipped (e.g., Hulu, etc.). (5) Wifi was flawless. (6) Parking across the street was $30 for 24 hours.

Great space!! We came for the Christmas Stroll and had wonderful access to restaurants and it was an easy walk or cab ride to town. Inga had the place beautifully decorated for Christmas, even a real Christmas tree! We appreciated all the little touches! The bedding was super comfortable and the backyard space was very cute though we didn’t use it! The quick walking path to Stop and Shop, Island Kitchen, Sea Grille and some other great spots was so convenient but could definitely use a clean up ! Overall, we loved our stay! Thank you!!

What a darling space! We felt right at home. It was quiet and cute inside and we were able to really relax. Thank you, Sam for such creating an inviting living area!

This property was the perfect size for my husband and me. Very clean and had all the basics needed. The bed was very comfortable too. The location was amazing - steps from Thames Street. Troy was extremely responsive, especially when I left a few items behind and had to coordinate with him to get them back.

Perfect space for a long weekend or low key beach trip. Walking distance to the beach and very quick drive to other restaurants, bars, coffee shops, etc. While the space is smaller it has all the amenities to handle everything you’d need like a full kitchen, grill, etc. We went in the offseason and still found plenty to do but you could tell the area would be more active during the peak cape season.

Great space, close walk to all the places we needed to go. Loved the open layout of the kitchen and living room areas, awesome to lounge around during our downtimes. Bathrooms fit our needs and beds were comfortable. Nice and thoughtful amenities such as the Dove body soap and toothpaste. TV cable was much appreciated as well as the electric piano! Thanks for a great stay, would book again.
