We had a great stay in the house. Our group was 4 adults, 2 children and a dog and it was the perfect size for us all. The house was very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. The location was very peaceful and so quiet at night we all got great sleep. We visited Bude, Clovelly and Widemouth over our 4 day stay and it was perfectly located for them. Roger provided all the information we needed beforehand with guides to everything we could possibly need. He also responded to messages straightaway. The hot tub was a nice bonus and easy to use. We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed sitting in the garden. I can't think of anything that would have improved our stay, I would definitely love to return.

We had such an amazing time staying at Liberty Barn. Tracey was extremely helpful and flexible when we were held up in traffic. The place was a rural paradise, and we so enjoyed the spa and sauna.

We’ve just spent a wonderful four nights here, absolutely loved it. Helen is a wonderful host, property was exactly as described, warm and cosy, lovely homely feel. Big bonus with this property is the free onsite parking, a rarity in Polperro. The walk back up from the village is a bit slower, but is how it’s described in the listing. We preferred to go to & fro the village via Brackenside lane (follow google maps) which continues onto a pretty woodland path and down a long flight of steps coming out near the ice cream shop. The ice cream shop is amazing! Beautiful lunch at The Three Pilchards and the views from the roof terrace eating area are spectacular. Would definitely recommend this property to others.

We loved our stay in the cottage! It was so calm and peaceful. Peter had thought of everything and there was so many lovely little touches that just made it for us. We couldn’t recommend this place enough for a romantic retreat away!

Our first air b&b experience as a family of 4 (2 kids age 7&10) and it has definitely set a high standard! We arrived to Cornwall on the wettest day - not what we imagined! But as soon as we stepped in the cottage it felt like a holiday straight away. We headed to the shop (10 second walk) for logs and fired up the log burner, found everything we needed in the kitchen to cook dinner and had a board game and movie night! We were blessed with sunshine for the rest of the stay so headed to beaches for surf lessons and horseriding - the cottage is such a great location and close to plenty of gorgeous beaches. We found a play park behind the cottage near the village hall which the girls enjoyed very much. The cottage is tastefully decorated, plenty of clothes storage for a short stay and the beds are so comfy!! Hot tub is a great addition - we would have loved to have stayed longer to enjoy this more as we only had time to get in once. We will definitely return in future.

We had an absolute fantastic stay at Nicola's place. We can highly recommend this most relaxing and peaceful place in stunning Cornwall. Nicola is a great host and has made us feel very welcome. She has created an absolute wonderful home away from home with everything you wish for. Thank you so much for having us. Hope to come back some time soon.

We had a lovely stay at the Honeysuckle cottage.Helen and Jonathan went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. It was a lovely cottage with all the amenities you could ask for . Walking in to find homemade scones and jam, fresh eggs and freshly baked bread was a treat!! The cottage is in a great location and we found it quiet and peaceful.The hot tub was private and clean. Having a private garden made it easy to manage our dog as well. We have stayed in multiple air bnbs before, this one was special and we will definitely come back! We loved our stay at bumblebee cottage. It was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Loved the attention to detail and was very thankful for the welcome pack. The hot tub is private and a great size for relaxing. Tracy our host was very communicative, friendly and at hand for any questions. We will definitely be returning. Our children loved it that much they asked if we could move in.

A lovely quiet place to stay. Lilac cottage is charming and clean, with very comfortable beds. The private garden to the cottage is a nice feature. The shared swimming pool was beautifully warm. The location of Court Farm suited us very well - a rural feel but a relatively short drive to Bude town centre and its beaches, or to Widemouth Bay coastline. We didn't go in but the pub opposite Court Farm was lively on the Friday night of our arrival (live music). It was, however, very quiet throughout the rest of our 5 night stay. Excellent communication all the way through from Court Farm Holidays!

Had a lovely stay at the Cottage. Clear instructions provided to gain access to the property. Accurately described and met all of our needs as a family. If anything the listing doesn’t do it justice. Nice location for lots of local dog walking and plenty of beaches commutable nearby. Will 100% return in future.

Had a great stay, lovely area, accommodation was perfect for us, would consider it again when visiting our favourite part of the world. Plus perfect host.

Very comfortable stay, had everything we needed and more. We loved the walk to Maenporth beach as did our dogs and easy to walk into Falmouth. Shame we did not have longer to try the facilities on site! Shelley great at communicating, checking we had everything we needed. 5 stars!!!

Came down for a family wedding nearby and location was perfect for us. The farmhouse was cozy, welcoming and spacious. The beds were comfy, so much so we all overslept on checkout morning. Facilities, especially in the kitchen were ideal for us. We would love to come again, next time for longer so we can explore the local area more thoroughly and probably with the dog who missed out this time. Thanks for having us to stay.

We had a fantastic time at Jenny’s lovely cottage! Jenny is kind and helpful, and communicated throughout to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The cottage is beautifully decorated and the garden and location is a little peace of heaven. Small mishap with the cleaning at arrival, but quickly resolved with a very friendly housekeeper. Thank you so much for having us, we’ll be back soon!

A beautiful gem in a fabulous serene location near so many brilliant places in Cornwall. Perfectly furnished and thoughtful set up. Super helpful and friendly host - down to getting the bbq ready for us and being able to hose down wetsuits on site plus lots of great local recommendations - plus very quick responses and let us know we could check in early. Could not recommend enough (except to ensure there’s some availability next summer so we can return!). Exactly what we needed and such a stunning private garden too - ideal if you are bringing a furry friend. Many thanks and hope to be back soon

Das Wuggle Cottage war ein bezaubernder Rückzugsort. Es strahlte eine Gemütlichkeit aus, die man selten findet. Der Kamin im Wohnzimmer machte die Abende perfekt und hielt uns an zwei Tagen angenehm warm. Es war die perfekte Mischung aus traditionellem Charme und heimeliger Atmosphäre. 🌲🔥

Such a calm place you have, the space you have is ample. Everything is provided so you don’t have to worry about anything. The grounds and gardens are stunning. I didn’t shut any blinds and left the door to the garden open through the night. Being woken by the birds singing at 5.30 felt nothing short of a blessing. Even heard the Cuckoo tapping away. I went down each morning and evening and had a chat with the chickens who always had something to say. Loved it, didn’t want to leave.

Had a wonderful stay. Nicola is a wonderful, warm and friendly host and was incredibly thourghful and helpful. The cottage is just stunning - in terms of facilities, location and design. Felt as home as soon as walked through the door. Nicola really has thought of everything you could need. Thank you both so much for a wonderful stay.

We have just had the most amazing getaway at river cottage. The place is spotless and has everything you need . There was even a BBQ with coals which we did use. The bed is super comfy and the enclosed rear garden is gorgeous and spacious, perfect for the dog and a spot of sunbathing. The surroundings are so peaceful and beautiful. A 30 minute walk along the river takes you to StErth where the Star in is a great little pub to visit. We had a lovely Sunday roast there and it was extremely reasonable. The cottage is perfect for exploring this stunning area of Cornwall or for just chilling out and enjoying the peace and quiet. Adrian and Lucy are super friendly and have lots of local knowledge should you need it. We will definitely be visiting again.

Very shortly after arriving I received a very warm welcome from Ian and Clare. I could park directly next to the cottage, which had a lovely secure & compact garden, so I knew the dogs were safe & sound. The well-maintained and good-sized paddock is brilliant for the dogs to have a quick runaround & chase the toys that can be borrowed from inside the well-equipped laundry room. Wren Cottage was pristine, with everything needed for a warm & comfortable stay. There are two very comfortable armchairs. There was always hot water and plenty of storage space in the kitchen. The dog biscuits & human treats were an unexpected and very welcome touch. The maps and local information package was very useful. The cottage is only a 10-15-min walk from the beautiful St Nectan's Glen, and a little further down the road, you can pick up the coast path & walk through Rocky Valley and into Tintagel. There is a shorter route to Tintagel if preferred. Boscastle & other places v accessible by car & bus.

This was a beautiful cottage with everything we needed for a great stay… Fabulous central location, quiet private space. Lovely hosts ensuring we had everything we needed and offering local recommendations… Can’t recommend highly enough we will definitely be back… thank you 🧡

Fantastic little cottage, perfect for 2. We found a welcome card, milk and bread on arrival, always a nice touch. The cottage was very clean and well appointed. Although the location is remote, it's reasonably close to shops and amenities being only 10 mins drive away. Hosts was very respectful and allowed us total privacy, despite their house being next door. Would definitely recommend or visit again. It's the perfect central location for exploring west Cornwall.

Absolutely loved our stay at Shepherds cottage. Perfect location for a peaceful get away but within easy reach of bars and restaurants. Some lovely walks on the doorstep - we hardly used the car all weekend. The cottage is beautiful and so comfortable. The log burning stove was lovely on the chilly evenings but we found the courage to be lovely and cosy anyway, even when the stove wasn’t alight. Sarah responded to our questions pretty much straight away and we felt that she really cared about us enjoying our stay and offered lots of eating and walking recommendations. Would definitely love to return.
