The Airbnb was perfect! It was super secluded, which was perfect for getting away from everything. There was so much fun stuff to do - we loved hanging out by the fire pit at night and my son loved the zip line. The fishing spot was great, and my son had a wonderful time with his grandfather fishing. We also went hiking and explored the trails around the property and seeing the horses. The whole place was just so peaceful. Matthew was quick to answer our questions; communication was great! The best part was that we had everything we needed right there, so we didn't have to worry about forgetting anything. We had such a great time that we're definitely coming back. It was like the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation all in one spot.

Our second stay at Nathan’s was fantastic as expected! Took advantage of his local cafe recommendation, which was fantastic. Love stopping here as it’s beautiful and cozy. Plus Nathan is an outstanding host! Highly recommend this stay for any trip to Dubuque!

Stayed here with family. Easy to find. Quiet. Layout worked out well. 3 bathrooms! Able to block off stairs. traveled with a senior dog with a bad knee. Kitchen had anything we needed. Relaxing after a day at Chesnut Mountain. Beds comfortable, bathrooms spotless. husband enjoyed the puzzle ball game. Nicely decorated to reflect the holiday season!

Stacy's place was great. We visited for an alumni weekend at UD. It was close to campus and very walkable to everything downtown. We will look to stay here again next year.

We enjoyed our stay very much! Meg was thorough about check in directions and helpful with local recommendations that are walking distance. Excellent location near downtown and lots of coffee shops and restaurants. Beautiful views of the city and River. We loved the warmth of this old house and it was clean and decluttered with an updated kitchen. Enjoyed the back screened in porch. Would definitely stay here again!

Our family just spent spring break at the “castle” as the kids called it. We all had an amazing time. The place is plenty spacious and the top floor tower room was great for watching animals during the day and star gazing at night. Ron was very responsive and made us feel welcomed. FYI, the garbage drop off is about 10mins away. We dropped off the night before we left to save another trip the day of check out. We will definitely plan another trip to the castle in our future!

We actually chose Linsey's place as a plan B when vacation plans for Arkansas fell through due to the weather, and WOW!!! We couldn't have been happier with our stay! Linsey was very quick and responsive to answer any questions we had. The home and location was absolutely beautiful!! She provided everything you could possibly need and everything you didn't even know you needed and forgot!! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy some much needed respite at your little slice of heaven!!

This was our second time at Jennifer's place and it was just as perfect as it was the first time. We brought our daughters with us this time, and they slept on the pull out couch and loved it. It was the perfect space for our family. The amenities are a plus. We went to the indoor pool at the Owners Club which was nice and enjoyable and we played the board games one of the nights, which were provided. I highly recommend this place. It's quiet, peaceful, there are walking paths, and it's about 10 to 15 minutes from Main Street. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at this place for a few days — overall, everything went well. The house was clean, cozy, and matched the description. However, it's worth noting that the property looks a bit better in the photos than it does in real life. Still, everything we needed was provided, and the stay was comfortable. The host was always responsive, answered our questions quickly, and gave helpful tips. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient, with shops and cafes nearby. Thank you for the hospitality!

this place was great had a small mishap but Jared made it right if you ever have an issue rest assured that it will be taken care of I will definitely stay here again me and my family had a great time

My family had a great stay at Jennie and Rob's place. The location was private and peaceful, and the house offered a lot of fun for our 6-year-old, from the foosball table to darts. Our family also really enjoyed the record player and vinyl collection. It's clear the owners have made a big effort to make the place entertaining. The nearby amenities, especially the basketball/pickleball court and game room at the Owners Club, were fantastic. The town of Galena also offered lots to do. Would highly recommend staying here!

Everything was as pictured or listed in the description. My partner and I decided to stay here being in close proximity to Galena, and fell in the love with Elizabeth! The house and location were both excellent. The place was quiet, clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. We cooked, relaxed, and enjoyed the beautiful views and local trails in the territory. Howard was very responsive and accommodating. A highlight of the trip was seeing a flock of wild turkeys walking through the yard!

A beautiful place with lots to do. From the fishing pond to the fun stiff in the basement to the great outdoor space, my family had a wonderful time.

Jim (Zeke) was the most friendly airbnb host I’ve ever had! His property is absolutely beautiful - super cozy tiny home with an amazing view of the pond. Zeke was super accommodating with our check in/out times and gave us a tour of the property even when we arrived late at night. Please don’t use this space as just a place to sleep - plan to spend quite a bit of time exploring the trails around the property, enjoying the fire pit, and taking a swim in the refreshing pond. We are so grateful for how welcoming Zeke was, and will definitely be back!

My husband and I along with our furry friend stayed at this cute and very clean house. It had everything we needed for a little getaway. Perfect distance to surrounding attractions including Galena.

The 1920's Spanish Revival home was just what we expected, like stepping back in time 100 years but with modern amenities and a clean, uncluttered look and beautiful aesthetic. It was a lovely mix of old and new with everything you might need for a respite away from the everyday. We thoroughly enjoyed the cozy living room, sun room and dining room and cooked up a storm in the well stocked kitchen. Ample sunlight streamed inside in the mornings, perfect to wake up to a hot cup of coffee. We appreciated the ample blankets for the cold winter weekend, many extra small appliances to satisfy our creature comforts and small snacks and treats left out for us. I highly recommend this space, as it is a short drive to all Dubuque has to offer. It was clean, comfortable and beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

We had a lovely stay at The Treehouse. Kimberly and Dan were wonderful hosts. We had one little snafu that was immediately addressed and no issues whatsoever from there. Gorgeous views, comfortable spaces, great community amenities. Enjoyed being a little off the beaten path as well. Guidebook was readily available and helpful. Kids had a blast with the games. Only wish it would’ve been a little warmer to use the deck and porch. Would definitely book again! Thank you for a great stay!

A delightful retreat. A frames have a special charm and this one definitely stands above the rest. Excellent views & easy to operate gas stove made for cozy couch and reading time. This felt like a well loved home instead of a stale guest residence run by a rental agency, which always makes the experience more personalized. Kent was very communicative and provided plenty of detail about the space and its quirks. Would return again.
