This place was a nice long weekend away. Very quiet, comfortable, and cozy. Not too far from civilization and many trails in the area. All in all, very charming and just what we were looking for.

This is the second time we stayed at one of Chris’ properties and we were not disappointed. We wanted a long weekend away to unwind, and unwind is what we did. We enjoyed the fireplace, hot tub, good food, and some snowshoeing. We walked right outside, put our snowshoes on, walked to the end of the drive way, and turned left onto the trail that runs right behind the house. Chris was very responsive when reaching out, very thoughtful host. We look forward to renting from Chris again and highly recommend for anyone interested in visiting the area.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Very peaceful. The hot tub was well kept and relaxing to use at night under the stars. My niece loved the butterfly themed bathroom and loft in her room. Would love to visit in the summer!

Great place! Stayed during winter time so it was full of snow everywhere, very peaceful and the jacuzzi was amazing. Extremely cozy and perfect for family get together or even friends! The bed is super comfy and loved the convenient fire place (easy to use). Host is super friendly. Im just ranting at this point but yeah worth every penny! (PS: Margherita Pizza at the marina restaurant nearby (10 min walk) is AMAZING.

Every stay here is just as good as the last! 5/5 experience. Look forward to coming back again!

My husband and i had a great stay for our anniversary at Stacey’s cabin on Mayfield lake. The cabin had a rustic feel with modern amenities. It was very clean and neat, had a comfortable bed (we only used 1/2 beds). Everything was in working order. We used the nice canoe to go out in the lake. The neighbor was friendly and had dogs that came to visit. The place had plenty of hot water, spices, oils, coffee, tea in the cabinets. Extra toilet paper, paper towels, dish washer pods, soaps in bathroom/shower and plenty of dish soap provided. Water was drinkable. It was very comfortable for 2 and seems it would have been fine for 4 as well! Thank you!

Our stay at The Hemlock House in Caroga Lake was wonderful! The location is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts & families. We enjoyed kayaking and canoeing nearby, and the local shared beach was great for relaxing, swimming, sunbathing, and more. The beach had community chairs, picnic tables, and toys. We loved the nearby corner store’s wings and meatballs and the Canada Lake Store’s West Lake Sunset sandwich. Sherman’s nostalgic carousel was a highlight, and we had a fantastic time at a concert, rodeo, and garage sales. The Airbnb was comfortable and equipped with an AC unit & fan with all needed amenities. The host Emily provided exceptional service and prompt responses to any & all communication. She also provided us with a list of current events which was extremely helpful as we had to plan this trip last minute. We loved that they included a S’more kit too! We can’t wait to return! Highly recommend this gem in Caroga Lake for outdoor adventure, local charm, & great hospitality!

We stayed at Betsy and Dave’s place for a weekend getaway and it was beyond anything we had expected. They were incredibly helpful and responsive. The house is beautiful, and the location cannot be beat. You are literally right on the lake. If you are looking for an Adirondack getaway this is your place! Exactly as pictured and described! Beautifully appointed with no clutter, great and comfortable main room for movies and games with the kids. Convenient, easy arrival and departure. Tony & Joyce are terrific hosts. My twin middle-schoolers especially loved the loft, which fit both a full mattress and a full blow-up mattress we had brought with us. They even installed a brand new bed in the main bedroom when we arrived! If you’re looking for lakeside campfires, beautiful lake views, and a week of kayaking and boating on the lake, I definitely recommend!

This place was exactly what we needed for a weekend getaway. Geoff had this place perfectly appointed and the location is amazing. We had a couple of questions when we arrived and he addressed them right away. Genuinely a fantastic host. We're already planning our next getaway here.

I spent the weekend at Larry's cabin with friends, and we absolutely loved it! The cabin is well equipped and quite cozy, and very well located. It's perfect for a weekend getaway. Larry was a great host, quite responsive and attentive to our needs. I would definitely come back and I highly recommend the place!

Sarah’s place was wonderful for our Valentine’s day getaway! We enjoyed the cozy cabin vibe, and especially the beautiful lake view! Thanks to Sarah, the check in process was a breeze and we were greeted with a warm welcome package filled with little treats and a pamphlet of the property/ fun things to do near by. We will definitely be booking with Sarah again in the future!

We had a wonderful week! The location and accommodations were above and beyond what we expected . This was our first experience with Airbnb and we were so pleased with our decision. We felt like we were camping- the trail to lake Sacandaga was beautiful. The cabin was spacious- we didn’t even need the loft with two beds but will be perfect when we bring our grandsons next summer. Yes! We will definitely be returning! Sarah was the perfect host! She immediately got back to us with any inquiries we had. She made us feel right at home by leaving goodies for us. The fire pit outside was a nice way to relax each night after a day on the lake.

Christine was a great host and very responsive to our questions/requests. One thing to note is the water in the sink/shower was yellow. Probably due to local water level conditions.

The house and area are beautiful and there is a ton of space and things to make your stay better, such as a grill, games, and some cooking basics in the cabinets. The space was overall clean, but we did find a lot of random things around the house such as a stick of deodorant under the night stand. Would come back!

One of the siblings was missing for the event and my lovely husband wanted to get her , wrong idea . His truck even though we thought could make it couldn’t , he got stuck The homeowner quickly and efficiently got us help the following day after the snow stopped and we were so thankful ! Huge shoutout to you guys and very appreciated! The home was stocked with everything needed to accommodate all 10 of us. They had everything to pots and pans , cleaning supplies , washer and dryer , board games , extra blankets . 2 porches as so much more I can’t even list .Bedrooms were clean and cozy and decorated with the cutest touches . Plenary of space so we weren’t on top of one another yet still close enough. The property was insane ! The view immaculate, the scenery so peaceful and serene. The kitchen gave us the perfect setting for our holiday meal and the living room gave us endless laughs . The home was decorated for the holiday and that gave it the most welcoming feel .

We had a wonderful upstate trip staying here! It was the perfect time of year, and the location of the cabin was perfect. Ryan was a super responsive host and the place was clean and cozy! Highly recommend!

2nd summer we stayed at Henry’s Air BNB,wouldn’t even think of anywhere else to stay.Just the most Beautiful views of the Lake and Mountains.very quiet and peaceful.Really enjoyed the use of kayaks. This is the place for you to sit back and relieve your stress of everyday life.We will be back for sure!Henry is the perfect host and everything is simple and not complicated.He is very responsive with your texting or phone calls.Setting up the fire pit for us is a plus.
