To the rear of the cottage is the iconic 140 mile C2C cycle path, which can be walked & leads into the coastal town of Whitehaven. Ennerdale with its beautiful remote & deep glacial lake, is only 5 miles away.

Located in the town centre The Apartment is close to the fells with easy access to the Western Lake District and Cumbrian Coast. Several picturesque walks are within easy reach or can be a base to further explore the Western Lake district and beyond. A short car drive and you can visit a number of iconic locations such as Ennerdale Water, Loweswater, St Bees and historic Whitehaven. This property is only 200 yards from the C2C cycle way for cyclists and walkers. Longlands lake is also nearby.

Many walks and cycle routes from the cottage doorstep. Situated very close to Ennerdale Water & the C2C and wainwright coast to coast routes. Easy access to western fells and solway coast.

The Little Nook, Frizington

A modest two bedroom house, perfectly located in Frizington (a small salt-of-the-earth working town) between the West Lake District and the Cumbrian coast. Fifteen minutes drive from the beautiful village of Ennerdale Bridge and twenty from the lovely beach at St Bees. 30 mins from Keswick, & Cockermouth. Double master bedroom Children’s room for up to three children bunk beds and a short bed (suitable for a child of up to 1.5m tall). Note, the bathroom is on the ground floor (up 3 steps)

Enjoy wonderful views of the Ennerdale fells, extending to Pillar and Steeple. The spacious, comfortable accommodation forms the main section of a larger semi-detached property. You will have the house to yourselves - we will be far away, but contactable should you have any questions or issues. It's self check-in and check-out. There are many good and varied walks nearby, as well as scenic drives and gastro pubs. You will need to bring groceries with you - breakfast is not supplied.
