We descended on Niall’s property for a book club weekend, after reading Northanger Abbey and wanting to visit Jane Austen’s house (approx 20min drive away). The house was so remote and peaceful, an expansive garden with beautiful views. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the living room was perfect for a comfy chat. We did have a few issues which were all speedily resolved by a friendly, proactive host. All in all, a fabulous weekend.

Clare was an exceptional host—extremely helpful and always willing to go the extra mile. The house itself is stunning: spacious, beautifully designed, and complemented by a lovely garden. The location is perfect, offering picturesque walks and plenty of activities to enjoy. I will definitely be returning soon and highly recommend this experience. :)

An amazing house which was perfect for a multi generational group. The games room and hot tub were lovely and well used by all. Gramps teaching the teens to play pool a memory to treasure. Outdoor table tennis also brilliant. Lovely space. Communication and responsiveness also brilliant. Felt sad to leave and wish we'd had longer.

Bridget’s cottage was absolutely tremendous! It felt homely, warm and welcoming! It was private and out of the way without being miles away from what you needed. We stayed with our 18 month old and dog who had a lovely time too. The stair gate on the bedroom was great as it gave our son freedom to wonder about upstairs whilst we got ready. There was also plenty of room for the travel cot too. Bridget was excellent at giving local recommendations and instructions for the cottage. We tried Rye in Frome which served excellent coffee! So thank you for that too. A perfect Christmassy getaway! Felt like the holiday! Thank you so much xx

La maison de Lyn est superbe, propre, joliment décorée, confortable et, somme toute, très accueillante. Il y a beaucoup de place et la maison est située pas loin du centre ville. Lyn est une hôte accueillante et attentionnée. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le petit déjeuner et sa gentillesse en général.

We loved our stay in this stunning home! Two fab pubs just outside which had been recommended to us by the host, along with lots of other helpful tips. Parking wasn't too much of an issue for us, but be warned the village was quite crowded with tourists, even at this time of year. Didn't bother us too much but we weren't really expecting it! We loved the house and really loved that there were some logs left so that we could have a cosy fire in the log burner. Stairs are a bit of a death trap (this was to our amusement) but host had warned us about those so we were aware of what we were getting ourselves into! People with limited mobility would need to take this into account when booking. Really appreciated we were able to bring a dog too, and there were some lovely walks around the area, umbrellas and wellies were at the property which was also really helpful. Overall a really beautiful unique property, ideal for a cosy winter stay!

We had a great Easter weekend stay at Matt’s cottage. Perfect location with a village shop, dog friendly pub right opposite and some lovely country walks. The cottage was clean and tidy and felt really homely. Matt was an excellent host, with recommendations on where to go and very communicative to make sure everything was perfect for us. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We had a comfortable stay with our 5 month old. Spacious bathroom and clean throughout. Good instructions for check in and friendly communication. It is a top floor apartment and the stairs are quite shallow, so perhaps not suited to anybody not steady on their feet. Little bit of street noise but this was to be expected in such a fantastically central location on the main high street.

Appartement très propre et très spacieux dans un quartier très paisible, au cœur de la haute ville et très proche du quartier plus commerçant. L appartement est également très lumineux. Le petit plus pratique : dépôt de pain frais juste à côté au bureau de tabac, ambiance quartier trèscalme et agréable. La mer toute proche.

Schönes Appartement. Hell und zeitlos eingerichtet, absolut geschmackvoll. Wir haben uns alle sofort Zuhause gefühlt. Wir haben die Küche kaum genutzt, sie war aber perfekt ausgestattet, auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt (Waschmaschine vorhanden). Es gibt in der Wohnung Schlafmöglichkeiten für 4 Personen in zwei Schlafzimmern. 2 einzelne Betten, ein Doppelbett und obwohl wir nur zu Dritt dort gewohnt haben, wäre durchaus für eine weitere Person ausreichend Platz vorhanden gewesen. Trotz der zentralen Lage, sehr ruhig. Patrycja hat im Vorfeld den CheckInn gut erklärt und war immer erreichbar.

Great location. Yvonne was friendly and responsive. We had such a lovely stay here and would definitely come back. It was a great base for our London trip. Kitchen was well equipped and everything was clean and comfortable. A home away from home.

Un logement très agréable, joliment décoré , très bien équipé et extrêmement bien situé à proximité de plusieurs incontournables d’Orléans dont la Cathédrale. L’emplacement est parfait et permet de tout faire à pied en accédant facilement et rapidement à tous les commerces. Un logement à recommander ! Seule précision qui mériterait d’être ajoutée à l’annonce : la hauteur sous plafond. En effet, dans 80% de ce superbe appartement (cuisine, chambre, salle de bain et une partie du salon) la hauteur sous plafond est inférieur à 1m90. C’est une précision importante pour les personnes de grande taille dont je fais partie, notamment pour un séjour long.

Très bel appartement situé sur l’esplanade. Décoré avec goût et confortable, notamment avec la cuisine bien équipée ouverte sur le salon et le balcon avec vue immédiate sur la mer, nous avons passé un excellent séjour de 4 nuits dans l’appartement de David. Notre hôte a été disponible et réactif. Nous recommandons sans hésitation.

I had a lovely stay at Daniel’s place. He was very helpful and very accommodating The flat was clean and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the short walk into the city centre.

superbe villa, avec une vue magnifique sur l'océan. Même par temps pluvieux et venteux nous avons adoré. Une belle balade du gr 34, qui longe toute la côte, au pied de la maison. La villa est dans un parfait état, les équipements de la maison sont tops. Béatrice est une hôte très accueillante, qui donne de bons conseils sur la région. Tout s'est parfaitement déroulé du début à la fin. Vous pouvez y aller sans hésiter.

Superbe maison avec une vue sur télé t sur la plage La maison est spacieuse on recommande Bon à savoir si les plombs de l’électricité sautent le compteur pour le remettre se trouve à côté du portail sur votre despote il ne faut pas chercher dans la maison Petit bémol dans la chambre du bas le sommier est casé côté droit et une planche été mise pour solidifier , mais elle est épaisse quand on dort dessus on ne sent que cela . nous avons mentionné le point pour que cela soit changé Sinon tout est top

Toujours un plaisir de retrouver ce bel endroit ! Hôte très accueillante et la villa toujours aussi magnifique et confortable à 5min de la plage. On reviendra pour une 4eme fois :-)

Mooi verblijf alles heel dik in orde ,proper en net ,goede bedden en alles voorradig om zelf te koken .Ook alles voorzien om te ontspannen zals biljart ,pingpongtafel trampoline enz .Heel vriendelijke ontvangst en zelfs welkomstgeschenk gekregen .Hield ons goed op de hoogte toen er een electriciteitspanne was door een ongeval en wanneer er terug electiciteit ging zijn met noodgeneratoren . Gelukkig waren er kaarsen voorzien .Bedankt voor ons verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken.

Christophe est un Excellent hôte qui sait mettre à l’aise, à l’écoute et flexible sur les horaires. La maison était propre et tout correspondait à la description. Il a même à ma demande rajouter un matelas pour l’arrivée de mes invités ;) Très sympa et bien organisé

We had a lovely stay. The house is a great light space, plenty of room, good sized beds, lovely terrace and big garden with swing, slide and tree house. Feels like being in the forest. Big airy lounge and seperate TV/playroom Kitchen well equipped, good big BBQ. Garden secure behind large electric gates.Isabelle responsive and helpful recommendations. Hotel next door great view for a glass, and food decent if you don't fancy the walk to the village, where there is a great restaurant. The local beach is quite a steep path but is stunning with the tide out, lots of sand, swimming, rock pools. It is tide dependant, so have to time to avoid pebbles, but lots of sand if you time sensibly. Beautiful peaceful location. Not perfect or pristine, but that is fine by us with two toddlers, and great value. Looks even better than the photos. Would happily return.
