Me and my partner have just finished our stay with alpine grove and would highly recommend visiting. We stayed in the woodpecker lodge and from the log burner to the hot tub everything about this lodge was perfect, Kieth and Serena service is amazing and we can’t wait to visit again soon. Thank you again for such an amazing stay.

It's like nowhere we've stayed before and it's certainly set the bar. The decor and ambience is unmatched. Relaxing in the rocking chairs and hammock felt like something from a movie! Not to mention the tree deck, hot tub and lovely Sheppy's cider 🍻 - perfection x

Spent 3 fabulous nights at Tom's hut and we would definitely like to return. The location was peacefull and very private (pheasant, deer and rabbits were our only close neighbours) We made good use of the wood fired tub and we cooked all our meals on the firepit/BBQ in the evenings. The hut was spotless with everything we needed, and the bed was extremely comfortable. All in all, a really great place to stay. Thanks Tom 5*

My partner and I stayed here 14th-17th April 2025. We wanted to get away for a few days, somewhere quiet and secluded where we could relax and recharge. And the place did just that. Beautiful surroundings. Frankie and Jonathan were very lovely, welcoming and friendly, always on hand should we have needed them. Even had to ask if they had paracetamol one evening, and they brought it over for us, thank you. The cabin itself was gorgeous, and the hot tub was divine, and they had it ready for us every evening. Everything was catered for, tea, coffee, cereals etc. We will definitely be coming back for if you’ll have us. 10/10.

It was my first time at sedgewell barn. being able to sit in the Hot-Tub and see nothing but sheep and lovely views was an Unbeatable experience! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the wigwam had everything we needed. The hosts were very responsive and did everything we expected.

The place was amazing! Nothing else could have made it better at all, it had everything we needed. The interior was perfect along with the natural light from the skylight windows. The views from the hot-tub were a nice touch and it is a place worth the visit. The host greeted us as soon as we came and was extremely helpful and welcoming! Definitely recommend this place!

A spotlessly clean cabin in a beautiful location. Photos are accurate of what to expect, a home from home with a hot tub and morning visits from squirrels! A short drive from otterburn and other local villages. Set in beautiful surroundings and not overlooked by other holiday makers. 10/10, we will be coming again!!

A lovely little place to stay. Nice and peaceful and relaxing. Very clean and spacious and the hot tub was well maintained. Ruth was very helpful and always on hand if needed.

We've just got back from 4 nights in the beautiful cabin. Sharon and David were so friendly and helpful, from initially booking all the way through to when we had to sadly say goodbye. The cabin is exactly as described and the views and surrounding areas are magnificent. We had lots of lovely days out exploring the area, but really loved coming back to the cabin and relaxing in the hot tub and soaking in the surroundings. We would love to return and have already recommended to friends and family. Thank you for the warm hospitality and sharing this beautiful part of your home with us.

Claire and her family were very friendly and The Cabin made you feel relaxed as soon as we walked in. Claire has a great Cabin which we would love to go back too. The little extras just made the stay that bit more special. Great Place to relax.

What an absolute find! Great views and the handmade cabin was just stunning 😍 would definitely recommend. We actually booked again whilst we were there. Just stunning!

My husband and I booked this place as a minimoon for after our wedding and it was the perfect peaceful get away. The cabin was a great size with everything we could need, a huge bathroom, a very comfortable bed and living space and a fantastic hot tub with spectacular views of the countryside. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay here for the best break we could have asked for. Would absolutely recommend!

Beautiful place, very clean and an enclosed garden for our dog. We had a lovely time and could not have asked for a better place to spend time as a family. Thank you for a lovely time.

We had a wonderful 5 night stay. Chris and her husband were very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. Our dog Stan got on well with their dog Percy. Well positioned for visiting Northumberland and Scottish border towns. Wonderful dog friendly beaches. Definitely on our list to return. Kevin, Anne and Stanley.

The Cabin is simply stunning. Amanda has thought of absolutely everything with impeccable taste. Private location, set in beautiful grounds, yet close to many tourist attractions. Welcome hamper including doggy treats a lovely touch. Can't fault a thing and would love to stay again.

We had a lovely few days at Sue Hut and really enjoyed our stay. The place was spotless, nicely prepared for our arrival, and felt so welcoming. We were greeted with complimentary milk and water, and there were even treats waiting for our pup—which was such a thoughtful touch. The hut had everything we needed, including dog bowls and soft, clean sleeping blankets for our furry friend. The cozy decorations throughout the space made it feel warm and homely, and everything smelled fresh and inviting. It’s clear that a lot of care and attention goes into hosting here. We felt really well looked after and would happily come back!

Absolute beautiful little lodge, very private very quiet on a lovely caravan site. Great site with a little shop cafe and bar. Beautiful walk along the riverside with the dogs. Definitely recommended

The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed. We were pleasantly surprised how spacious it was, we had a really comfortable stay in a lovely location with easy access to the city centre

Fantastic spot to enjoy Saundersfoot and Pembrokeshire, the private garden being a highlight & wonderful place to unwind after a day out. Very comfortable cabin with everything you might need. Richard was very welcoming and helpful, we wish we'd stayed longer!

The Cookoo Cabin and David himself gave us the perfect get away, beautiful surroundings, everything we needed in the most majestic location. Beach and shops close by, with a scenic drive. The cabin was well equipped, clean and comfortable, David gave us lots of recommendations and so easy to chat to. Our dogs had the time of their lives, perfect.

The place was peaceful and much bigger than we expected. The jacuzzi was the cherry on the cake, and we loved every minute. Even though there was a slight issue with an unexpected security deposit once we checked with AirB&B the hosts didn’t try to ask for it in the end anyway and everyone was friendly and left us to our privacy. Super Easter weekend getaway with the kids. The mobile home is as described, spotless, really well equipped (kitchen etc is a home from home) and communication with Laurence was great - offering flexibility on check in and check out etc. The park itself is great, although we didn’t explore it as much as we could as there is just so much to do in the area and Kelling Heath is a perfect base. Only drawback we found was no WiFi and our phone provider seemed to have absolutely no coverage in the spot where the mobile home is (max 2G), so we were almost without any internet. Nice in many ways to disconnect but did make things complicated for planning our days out with young kids etc. Not a major deal though. All in all a really great stay - kids are asking when we can go back!

Rachel was a great host. Brilliant communication and clear instructions for check in. the cabin was just as described and perfect for our family of four plus pooch. Quiet, warm and cosy...comfy sofa and nice non-stick pots and pans :) Doggy welcome pack was a lovely touch! The holiday village as a wider environment is a clean and peaceful place, play park for the kids and lovely local walks. Site shop is great for emergency essentials. Shame the pub at the top of the hill burned down..I remember it as a kid when I came to the Lodges...hopefully it will be rebuilt one day! Cafe looked great, we didn't manage to go in to eat but a brilliant view from the decking :) Thank you Rachel, we really enjoyed our stay! ;)

Absolutely gorgeous property hidden away in the woodland. The photos do not do it justice, it is much larger than the photos make and super cosy ! The cabin is a short walk from where you will park 5-10 minutes but the walk is lovely and very easy to find. The host was really helpful and replied very fast to any questions and queries. We will be looking to book again in the next year. The photos do not do the property justice !
