We wanted a place where our family could connect, the children could experience a different way of life (we’re townies!) and our lungs could fill with fresh air. Moonacre Yurt hit the spot!! Surrounded by chickens, cows and Mother Nature, we soaked up as much of the atmosphere and Dide’s knowledge as possible. What a wonderful host, encouraging the kids to collect fresh eggs and talking to them about biodynamic farming, such a pleasure! Not a place for those of you wanting creature comforts (compost toilet, walk outside the yurt to get to bathroom and kitchen) but oh so wonderful for a snippet of the good life...

Absolutely stunning yurt and surroundings, rob and Sara were wonderful hosts, we can’t thank you enough for a memorable stay. The yurts were beautifully cosy and they both were on hand for any help or query. They go above and beyond and we can’t wait to come back!

This is a very peaceful, nice place to stay. The showers were so much better then expected (not your normal campsite shower block as the water was piping how and they were clean!). The kitchen in large enough to eat in if you want as there is a dinning table, there are 2 camping gas stoves and plenty of cooking pots and plates etc. The Yurt itself was very clean and comfortable, got a bit cold in the night but warmed up once the fire was lit. We had a lovely time and are considering returning next year for a longer stay.

Me and my 4yo daughter stayed for a few nights this week to spend time together before she starts school. Julia was so helpful in every sense of the word; when we arrived my little dog hurt its foot and she immediately called a vet to help us. Julia was so friendly and accommodating for us which you don’t always get with airbnb hosts. The location was perfect, the views, surroundings were just what we needed to live a little off grid for a few days, and just be together. Julia made us a lovely breakfast hamper the morning we left which was a nice gesture. I urge anyone to stay here! We didn’t quite get the hot tub working but I know if I had an extra pair of hands it would have been blissful. Thank you Julia, I hope we can come back to visit your wonderful farm again.

We loved our dog friendly stay at the Fern Leaf Roundhouse and we're surprised by the amount of space inside. It was very well insulated and easy to keep warm with a great little wood burner to give us a boost when we needed it. We made good use of the hot tub outside after we got over our initial phobia of clambering in full view of the neighbouring roundhouses. We noticed a few others had some privacy screens which we assume is a work in progress. It was amazing sitting outside in hot tub at night under the stars and the hanging lights only added to this. Would love to visit again.

Our whole group had a fantastic weekend away at this beautiful spot. The rain didn't dampen our spirits as the facilities were perfect. The gorgeous yurt made a wonderful communal space & the firepit provided a magical outside spot. The tents were very comfortable & had everything we needed. We would highly recommend this private getaway & could not fault it. 10 out of 10!!

Had an absolutely lovely couple of nights at the site for New Year's. The site was peaceful and in a beautiful location. The yurt was amazing, excellent wood burner, lovely furnishings and the heated sheets were great too. Nick was very welcoming and helpful (we didnt get the chance to meet Molly), lovely chap and we made use of the table tennis and i braved a dip in the lake, which was great! Close proximity to several pubs and plenty of food options in Bridport itself too, as well as many amazing areas to visit on the Jurassic Coast. We will happily be back at some point, this has been one of the best Airbnb visits ive had, so would highly recommend to anyone thinking of going!

our llittle family get away, last minute was amazing Phil and sera are amazing hosts from start to finish, nothing was every to much. The beds are so comfortable 😀 I need to know where the double bed mattress is from.🫠 would definitely be back. thank you from the Roberts

A very memorable stay, Amanda's listing has beautiful photos but they don't do the place justice! A wonderful way to have a truly relaxing, off grid experience but we were by no means slumming it! Amanda and Tom have kitted out the yurt and accompanying cabin with everything you could possibly need and more. The bed was extremely comfy and we were toasty warm despite it being well into October.

Extremely beautiful and peaceful spot, very private, brilliantly equipped to be comfortable but also in keeping with its natural surroundings and nature. Lovely, responsive hosts. Worth every penny for a restorative break in idyllic countryside.

What a wonderful place!! absolutely stunning, each area is absolutely beautiful, inside and out. the yurt and beds very comfy with electric blankets. kitchen area with table and shower, outdoor bath and sauna perfect!! under shelter fire, hammocks and seating area all wonderful. connected with nature and left feeling refreshed. highly recommed staying here!!! This is glamping at it’s best. All the benefits of getting away from it all and back to basics in the countryside, with the luxury of home comforts in a beautiful private peaceful setting. Sam & Rich had thought of everything to make it a wonderful stay. The biscuits and cider on arrival was a lovely welcome. There’s so much to do on the doorstep; walking, beach days and great food. We hope to come back in the future.

An amazing place to stay. James was very proactive and made sure we had everything needed. It was a nice touch to have a bottle of fresh milk and orange juice in the fridge. The yurt has got everything you need for a break away. The beds are very comfy, the bathroom on the side is clean and the shower is nicely hot (you really do need it when the weather fails you!). The surroundings are to kill for. I was waking up to a sunset with deers running around. Can’t ask for anything else with my morning coffee 😊 Kids and I are already planning another weekend away at the yurt.

great stay, surprised the wife and three children under 5yrs. they loved it, so much for the kids to do. Many happy memories made.

We had a great time and will definitely be returning again soon! We hiked the west Dorset to three peaks and returned to sit in the hot tub peacefully to recover from our hikes, Everything was perfect! Highly recommended *****

First of all, Camilla is an amazing host. Very kind, friendly, very communicative, made sure that my friend and I had everything we needed. It was such a lovely touch to find a box of fresh eggs, milk and biscuits with a lovely welcome card. The place itself was wonderful, the yurt was very cosy, the bed super comfortable, the kitchen had everything that we needed, the bathroom was very warm. It's a very well thought through place with a massive beautiful garden. I only regret we stayed there one night but I feel I will be back. I don't remember last time I felt so relaxed.. Thank you once again for this beautiful experience, Camilla! ☺️🥰

When we arrived I was lost for words the photos don’t do the yurts 🛖 the justice 😍🥰 Absolutely amazing soo beautiful and great little break for my children of 2 and 6 who loved it just as much possibly much more because had a play park adjacent to our tent and they could come and go and loved making their beds and helping carry the washing up (not like this at home lol), felt so relaxed and is so beautiful inside with the fire and lights on in the evening 🙌🏼🩷 I didn’t realise their was a fridge so even better to keep milk and things cold as does get very warm inside especially on a summers day but no complaints at all thanks so much will definitely be back and comes highly recommended! 💯❤️

We had the best time at Tim's place! The location exceeded our expectations, it was so peaceful with loads to do and we even saw the resident deer a couple of times. We had a hammock, swings for the kids, a badminton court, firepit area with loads of wood. But make sure you are up for a steep walk to and from the car park as not suited for people with any knee or ankle issues. The yurt was spectacular too with everything you would expect and the furnishings are beautiful 🐝! Thank you Tim for a lovely stay!

The place is so nice especially with nature lovers, secure and we have a privacy. Angus is approachable, quick to response with our messages. We really enjoyed staying in Angus place. We were thankful for extra bonus the 5 free range eggs.

Had the most beautiful stay at the Secret Garden - location is absolutely stunning, super well equipped, an amazing oasis of calm and the surrounding area, fields and ponds, are gorgeous too. The space has everything you need to cook, wood provided for fires, toiletries provided in the bathroom, even got left a lovely loaf of bread. Amanda gave us some great recommendations and talked us through everything about the place and would definitely revisit. Loved our stay for a rustic weekend getaway!

Such a cool place to stay, I absolutely loved it! Amazing decor and surroundings, clear instructions and good amenities/facilities! My only two quarrells would be that the hot tub has no bubbles and it was only warm enough for use on the first night. The next morning it was cold and did not reheat at all for us to use again! Also the sky light and wood around it in the roof of the yurt could have done with a hoover! As there was so many spiders/spider webs, and a few spiders even decended down onto the bed! (however I do appreciate it is an outdoor yurt) Other than that everything is absolutely perfect and I would definitely be back again! Thankyou for having us !
