Welcome to our newly converted stable which forms part of our 250 year old farmhouse. The stable is situated at the rear of the property, in a peaceful and quiet location. We provide a welcome basket with a few basics on arrival and a booklet with information and recommendations on the local area. The Stable is perfect if you are looking for a peaceful or romantic stay but with lots to do and explore on your doorstep. We look forward to hosting you and we sincerely hope you enjoy your stay.

Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. A detached cottage set in four acres enjoying a secluded position on the edge of the Exmoor National Park. The medieval village of Dunster is a 10 minute stroll away with pubs, restaurants, small shops, tea rooms and Dunster Castle (NT). The area is ideal for woodland, coastal and moorland walks. Minehead is a few miles away with its beach, shops, golf course and steam railway. The owners live in the adjacent cottage and are pleased to welcome you and be of any help during your stay.

The chalet has open plan sociable kitchen/diner/living area overlooking Blue Anchor beach at the front and glimpses of the West Somerset steam Railway to the rear. The Railway Hut is a self-contained shepherd’s hut for two, with luxuriously comfortable double bed with all seasons duvet. En-suite shower room with complimentary toiletries. Kitchenette with all the basics ready for your arrival. For the chilly winter evenings you’ll find a cosy log burner laid and ready to light. Outside facilities include designated parking, private outdoor seating, bbq and fire pit. We also have secure bike storage.
