It is just a beautiful and tranquil place to stay. We loved it. Was a small hiccup on check in but our hosts were very responsive and got it sorted for us in no time. We appreciated the lengths they went to help us have a great stay. We will be back as soon as we can!

Had a wonderful stay here with a friend for Gather Round 2025. Well positioned for the Adelaide Oval games. Also on the free city bus loop which was helpful. Regina was super responsive and helpful with check in etc. The cottage is lovely and decked out in period furniture. Beds were comfy Thanks for the stay

Jasmine’s Cottage is such a beautiful cozy and cool cottage which was a perfect place to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary, even when the big ball of fire in the sky was hitting the 40 degrees. The Lord Lyndoch just a short stroll is a fantastic place for a great meal. Suzie is a great host and was able to share a lot of local hotspots, thank you.

Henri’s cottage was charming, comfortable, and quiet. The old miner’s cottage has been lovingly renovated and is surrounded by farm land, vines, gardens, and trees frequented by a wide variety of beautiful native birds. It was lovely to eat our breakfast enjoying the view and, what a breakfast! Henri was extremely generous with the quality and wide range of food and drink provided. Thoughtful touches like soft robes to use, an incredibly comfortable bed, well appointed kitchen, bath tub, and Netflix made us feel right at home. Henri was friendly and knowledgeable, welcoming us in person. Overall we felt absolutely spoiled and must say that this is one of the best Air B&Bs we have ever stayed in. If we ever have the good fortune to return to the Barossa, we would absolutely stay here again. Thank you, Henri!

Staying at Cumquat Cottage is a true five-star experience. It is far more like staying at the luxury home of family or friends than it is like visiting an Airbnb. Meriel and Patrick are the most attentive, warm and generous hosts. They anticipated every need - and many more we didn’t even know we had. There were even treats and a comfy bed for our dog Monte. We arrived to a well-stocked fridge and pantry, fresh flowers in the sitting room, fluffy towels, beautiful bed linen, gorgeous crockery and every kitchen utensil imaginable. The attention to detail is astonishing and made for the most relaxing stay. Eating in the stunning and private courtyard was such a treat, and we were minutes by foot from top eateries. We have never stayed at a better Airbnb.

We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful cottage, everything was extremely clean and thoughtfully set out. We really appreciated the bits left for breakfast for both mornings and also the wine and snacks which we enjoyed on the terrace. Would 100% recommend to anyone staying in McLaren Vale!

Beautiful location and amazing little cottage. Very peaceful at night and right on some of the best roads to ride or drive through the Adelaide hills.

It's such a fantastic accommodation we stayed in for Adelaide tournament. spotless clean cottage, extraordinary accommodating host with snacks and cooking essentials provided, beaches necessities, plus comfortabls pillows for athletes to rest. Our family had so much joy and peaceful rest in the house. cottage is well maintained and feels like home. we will be back !

Beautiful place and everything you could possibly think of is provided. Unfortunately it was a bit too cold for us to use the beautiful outdoor bath so we missed out, and the indoor shower does not have a removable shower head which made washing the kiddies a touch challenging but the cottage is amazing in every other aspect. Tracie is an incredibly generous host who has thought of and provided every possible convenience in this lovely homey cottage, including supplies for an incredibly decadent breakfast. We loved meeting the neighbours (a poney, an alpaca and sheep). Madame alpaca is sassy!

We had an amazing stay at Natalie’s beach getaway! The place was spotless, bright, and carried an easy coastal vibe that made unwinding a breeze. The fully-fenced yard and short stroll to the dog-friendly beach were perfect for our pup, who spent the whole trip with a wagging tail and sandy paws. We loved waking up to the sound of the waves, enjoying morning coffees, and curling up in the cosy living room after sunset. Natalie was a brilliant host—quick to respond, thoughtful with local tips, and clearly passionate about making guests (and their four-legged friends) feel at home. Couldn’t have asked for a better seaside escape. Highly recommended!

From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The house was very cosy, The kitchen was fully equipped, with the addition of spices and cooking condiments if needed. Plenty of towels and beach towels supplied as well as bathroom necessities which is great for a traveller that likes to carry little. The back yard was very quaint and peaceful, great for my morning coffee and read. The house was is in a great spot, walking distance to beach , shops, and many great coffee shops and restaurants. Overall very satisfied and will definitely return .

We had a thoroughly enjoyable time at Hackney Cottage. It is perfectly located at the edge of the Botanic Gardens which suited us as early-morning walkers very well. Excellent proximity to public transport and CBD as well as many green spaces. You are very close to the neighbours on one side of the house but we didn’t find this problematic in any way. Loved this home and would happily stay again - thank you Deb 🙂

A neat and tidy little getaway with beautiful scenery and surroundings. It is close to everything but is secluded enough to feel like you’ve escaped the hustle and bustle of life for a while. Great stay!

It was lovely to return to Johnny and Ann’s exceptional hospitality. Their property is a charming slice of history, beautifully renovated with great attention to detail. Everything you could need for a comfortable stay is thoughtfully provided, including generous breakfast supplies that were much appreciated. Johnny and Ann are such warm and friendly hosts, making the experience all the more memorable. Highly recommended!

Satisfied all our needs bonus was allowing us to be close to our Grandson. Great walking trails and literally 10 minutes to local shops including the heart of the wine district. Certainly recommend for a couple or two. Regards Mark/Deb

Beautiful little cottage, renovated to a very high standard in a lovely garden setting. Extremely well equipped with everything you need for a long or short stay. House was spotlessly clean and a pleasure to stay in. The host was very helpful and I would recommend this property to anyone who appreciates quality, location and comfort.

We had a wonderful time there. The pace was beautiful, nice and cozy, felt right at home. We had an incredible time, wonderful surroundings and good places for food. The host were very cooperative and welcoming, we had a nice time there me and my partner.

Julien was very helpful and polite. The location is in a beautiful setting and is close to shops and train station.

Lovely stay, great location and really good communication with Nick. Exactly as described and a really nice and well equiped property. We would definitely stay there again. It’s a good location for visiting McClaren Vale, Adelaide Hills and the fleurieu peninsula

Wowsers, what a great place to spend a few days!!! The cottage was just magical, with everything you could need along with a whole lot of extras. Upon arrival we were greeted with a cheeseboard and wine, and enough supplies to whip up a decent breaky for the entire stay along with snacks, range of coffee and teas and milks to cater for all needs. The cottage was clean and inviting with a fireplace stacked and ready to start, the surrounds tranquil and the location central. Thank you Jane!

5 stars aren’t enough!!! Alex was the best AirBnb host we’ve had, and we have had many good ones. He thought of everything and then some. The kitchen was well stocked with breakfast and snacks foods. Plus there was a delightful bottle of wine from a local winery. And it was well equipped for cooking. All the other necessities were provided, too, and with a little extra touch—nice linens, fluffy towels, locally made soaps and shampoos. The location was picturesque, peaceful and serene. It is only a short drive to the larger Barossa towns and to the many area wineries. Alex was very helpful in recommending local wineries, restaurants, and tours. And he was proactive in warning us about the possible complications of the big Barossa footy weekend. Alex’s is THE place to stay in the Barossa!

My husband and I stayed the weekend at this beautiful location as we’re getting married in Kuitpo Forest. It ticked every box and exceeded our expectations beyond measure. Waking up in the morning to the horses, ducks and beautiful scenery. We were blown away with how peaceful it was. From day dot the hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Upon our arrival entering the home it was spotless and filled with so much love and care. I have never experienced an Airbnb Home and hosts who truly catered and went big and beyond for their guests. My husband and I are very excited to return and would highly recommend this to absolutely everybody who was looking for an Airbnb stay somewhere private and peaceful, with hosts that truly take care of you and love their home and want you to have an experience that leaves you feeling relaxed and comfortable.
