We stayed as an extended family for a funeral. It happened to be a busy weekend in Lawrence and wound up being the perfect place.

Our family of 6 visited this very clean and comfortable home during a college visit. Everything was spotless and coffee was provided. Loved the location and a little bit of history with the home mixed in. Thank you, Joni!

We were visiting our son who attends KU and was running in a track meet. This was one of the best homes we have rented. The house is very cute and well furnished. The owners have thought of everything. WiFi was fast, well stocked home, beds were comfortable and the place was spotless. Communication with the hosts was great. It is secluded and peaceful but also convenient to Rock Chalk Park. Grocery and restaurants easy to get to as well as downtown Lawrence. This will be our “go to” when visiting Lawrence.

Nice little house. Remodeled old home was a nice stay for our little family. Great being able to put the kids down and not have to share the space. If available when travel out here next year we would stay again.

This Airbnb has to have the most beautiful view in Lawrence. It is so incredibly peaceful, you feel like you are in the middle of Colorado. The space itself is really cool and has everything you need to relax. As the description states you can rent the upper half (which we did) or the whole house. The upper half of the house had plenty of space for my husband and myself, and more to spare if we needed it. Truly a gem, and the hosts were incredibly nice!!!

Very happy with this home! It was exactly as pictured, very clean, the host is super helpful and always nearby if you need anything! Hot tub is clean and well maintained and the games are a great bonus!

This is a beautiful home, decorated in a very intriguing deco. we loved our stay. There was plenty of room for everyone. We would stay again without hesitation.

I stayed in Elinor’s apartment for three months. She made it my home away from home! She was super responsive with any issue. The apartment was clean and well kept. She offers extra amenities most places don’t. I would highly recommend staying here!

This was the perfect little getaway for the night for my daughter and I. It was so cozy and quiet and we had a blast playing all the available games. We both felt asleep watching movies on the giant couch it was so comfortable. Our hosts were very responsive and greeted us when we arrived and assured to reach out if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back!

We have stayed many places in Lawrence over the years - and this is by far our favorite! Our hosts were warm and welcoming, the property is cozy and comfortable with no details missed, the yard is park-like and beautiful, and the neighborhood is peaceful, yet walkable to the KU area and Mass Street. Our only regret is that we didn't find it sooner since our son graduates in a few weeks. Whenever we return to Lawrence - we will look to book here again first. There are really good hosts and there are great hosts. Megan is off the charts. She’s very kind, caring, and has a beautiful and squeaky clean place. We would definitely return. We loved our stay and wished we had a bit more time in Topeka. It’s a great place to visit and catch some beautifully historic sites, among other things. Thank you, Megan!

There’s no place like it. Sitting on the balcony in the mornings and evenings watching the river and sometimes an eagle is so relaxing. And then the ability to walk downstairs for a burrito (on the weekends) or an ice tea or coffee with cinnamon roll is priceless. Thank you for hosting!

Great place! Clean and in nice quiet neighborhood. Location worked great for us as was literally down the road from family. Melanie responded immediately when my tech un-knowledgeable self couldn’t figure out the door lock.

This is one of the best AirBnBs that I've stayed in. I wish I could've stayed longer! The apartment was super comfortable & quiet. I could tell that every piece of furniture & decor was carefully selected for the aesthetics of the place & for a 1 bed/1bath it seems incredibly spacious. All the amenities were as described. TVs were easy to use with all the streaming services anyone could need. Wifi was fast and reliable. Neighborhood was quiet & felt secure. I'm a night shift worker, so I greatly appreciated the black out shades in the bedroom; some gets through along the sides, but it was still dark enough to allow me to sleep during the day. Kitchen was well appointed with high quality brand name items for cooking, coffee, etc. Towels and linens were spotless with plenty of both provided. If I find myself in Topeka again in the future for an extended stay, I'll definitely be checking to see if the Prairie Condo is available before looking anywhere else.

This house is simply fantastic! If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would. The comfort and luxury inside make you fall in love with it from the moment you arrive. The balcony is amazing, offering both great comfort and beautiful views. We traveled to Kansas to visit our son who is studying there, and I feel we were incredibly lucky to find and book this home. The location couldn’t be better — everything you need is just a short walk away. The house is full of luxurious touches and little surprises that make it stand out. I especially loved that on Saturday morning, local producers gathered in the parking area to sell their products — a lovely detail that really gave us a taste of the local culture. Finally, the host, Omar, is one of the kindest and most discreet people I’ve ever met. Don’t think twice — just book it!

Absolutely great space. Very clean and has everything you could want. Perfect location as well. Ashley was also incredibly helpful with checkin in and answering any questions. We will book again.

This place was really cool! The garage door opening up in the living room was even better than the pics show. Clean and easy to access. Terrace with hot tub, grill and fireplace was an extra bonus. This place is well worth the price. Cheaper than a hotel would have been for us and much nicer, private accommodations with a great view of the night life. Definitely recommend Jessie’s Place!!!

Very clean and up to date apartment in the downtown area of Lawrence. Highly recommend if visiting downtown Lawrence.

Third time we have stayed here and have had another great experience! We have small children and the place was perfect with very little for us to move to baby proof. Location is everything! So close to great food and highways for easy access to where we were heading! Host is quick to respond and makes the whole process seamless!
