Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic cozy cabin on the top of the mountain. A basecamp ready for your Palomar adventures. This is a tiny home, 19' x 11' (the bedroom is 11x11ft). Max sleeping capacity: 2 adults and one child under age 5. No AC. Valley views are from guest accessible property, not directly from the cabin porch. Max 2 dogs stay free - disclose bringing them. $100 cat cleaning fee on top of our $50 cleaning fee, and we will charge $200 if you fail to disclose your cat(s).

The Wood Pile Inn getaway

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. This historic cabin built in 1920 was recently refurbished to its old charm with some modern upgrades for your comfort. The original owner of the Cabin was an author named Catherine Woods. She wrote the very first book on the history of Palomar Mountain; Teepee to Telescope. You'll find a copy in the cabin for a good read.Lots of natural light make this little cabin feel spacious, the windows throughout the cabin offer a beautiful forest view.

The residential neighborhood is one block from Christmas Circle and the restaurants and shops along Palm Canyon Rd, and is proximate to the new library and other services. Bombay Beach is a photographers and filmmakers dream. It has the feeling of a Mad Max movie set combined with the Americana vibe of the 1960s and 1970s. A great base to explore sites such as Salvation Mountain, East Jesus, Slab City, Box Canyon hikes, Joshua Tree NP and Imperial Sand Dunes.
