We have the best of both worlds, stunning countryside & easy access to local amenities. We’re on Domen Fawr which is over 1653ft high. At the top you can see Pen y Fan & central Brecons. Heads of the Valley is nearby & provides great access across South Wales. Cardiff is an hour away by train. We are a quiet retreat, ideal for walkers, young families or couples wanting a relaxing, peaceful break. Pets are welcome but there are additional charges. Please ask us in advance as we have our own dogs.

Enjoy a stay at our lovely modern and quirky terrace house in the Welsh Valleys. The house is in a central location for outdoor adventure lovers with plenty of hiking spots and mountain bike trails a short distance away. This quaint cosy cottage is purpose built and sits on the Taff Trail in the village of Troedyrhiw, with panoramic views . Less than 1 mile from Bike Park Wales, and 3 miles from Merthyr Tydfil, 9 miles from Brecon Beacons and 22 miles from Cardiff, with the benefit of private parking for 2 vehicles and ample further parking opposite. Also a safe secure alarmed bike shed, suitable for 5 large bikes, covered by CCTV, with a metered heater. AC is pay as you go, which covers the whole cottage.

Moy retreat - great for BPW and Taff Trail!

Good sized 3 bed house in the quiet village of Aberfan. 10 minutes drive from Bike Park Wales. Right next to the Taff trail. Own drive way. Welcome to my much loved house in Aberfan. I purchased this with my ex-husband after many trips to BPW Wales, planning to let it out then retire in 20 years or so! Nothing has changed except I now have no husband (yay)! Improvements ongoing which is reflected in price. Pets are welcome at £25 per pet. Please make sure to clean up after them!

Parking is located at the property on a quiet street. There is also a very nice restaurant/pub just around the corner which over looks the river. The property is around 30 minutes away from Cardiff and 30 minutes away from the Brecon Beacons National Park. There is also a train station nearby.
