Peter's house has anything we needed. Beautiful views from the house and quiet surroundings. Very cosy and comfortable stay for us after a long day out on our road trip.

So, this is a very special place. It's old and amazingly quirky. We just loved it!! The decor and styling is just extraordinary. It is large, with a grand piano, huge boardroom table, massive chandelier, wood fires, a vast array of fascinating books and even a turntable and vinyl records that fit the era. Along with this, there's adding machines and assorted items that fit with the bank's previous life. Much attention had been made to make us feel pampered and comfortable including among other things wonderful linen and bedding. Cathy's communication adds to the excitement, with teasers and tips that we received in multiple installments before we arrived. There's not ot much else in town, but lots of lovely surrounding areas and recommendations of things to do from Cathy. Google Ben Little's You Tube on the "Secret Bank Society" for a better feel for this place. We walked away saying that this is a special place that we'll remember for ever.

Lovely, clean, warm and homely place to relax and spend a few days (exactly as advertised). Great location handy to pub. Essential food supplies were a nice touch and the chockie treats were a winner. Thanks Kathleen would definitely recommend your place to others.

Had an awesome weekend stay, the place matched its description and was perfect for our riding plans. It was nice to disconnect without Wi-Fi or TV. Just a small thought - the price felt potentially a tiny little bit high for the basic level of amenities offered.

We loved our stay at the sawmillers cottage. We've never stayed in such a well equipped place! The location was very quiet with exceptional privacy and beautiful views. The woodfire was almost too good and the bedrooms were very comfortable. We definitely recommend!
