Me and my family had a lovely time at Hannah’s place for New Year’s Eve. The house is located in an idilic part of the beautiful Loenen aan de Vetch. It’s a comfortable place with great facilities for family time: big dining area, sociable big kitchen, big sofa, beautiful features etc. We would love to come back in summer time!!! It must be heaven then! We didn’t met Hannah, but communication was great, really easy, quick and helpful… thank you Hannah!

Une très belle maison, propre et moderne, située dans un quartier charmant à seulement 30 minutes en voiture d’Amsterdam, avec des commerces à proximité. Tout était absolument magnifique. Merci infiniment !

Twee jaar geleden stonden we tijdens een fietstochtje langs de Vecht bij het ophaalbruggetje in Loenen aan de Vecht: “ wauw, je zult hier maar wonen!” Toen wisten we nog niet dat we dat twee jaar later bijna een week lang mochten ervaren. Het huis van Edward is een bijzonder sfeervol en karakteristiek huis vlakbij het bruggetje aan de Vecht. Je kunt uren op het bankje genieten van alle boten die langs varen. Het huis is comfortabel, alles is aanwezig. Goed ingerichte keuken, goede bedden, sfeervolle inrichting. De tuin is een woonruimte op zich. De directe omgeving lijkt op een openluchtmuseum. Er is genoeg te doen, fietsen, wandelen en natuurlijk varen. Edward reageert snel en heeft goede tips voor dingen om te doen en waar je moet zijn om lekker te eten. Daar hebben we dankbaar gebruik van gemaakt. Wij hebben het heerlijk gehad. Aanrader.

Our stay in this lovely villa was truly a highlight! The house is very modern, stylish, and furnished with great attention to detail - we felt completely at home. The peaceful location and the view of the water provided pure relaxation. Ginger and Pepsi, the two cats, were the absolute highlight for us and made our stay even more special! The management was super friendly and helpful, and every question was answered quickly. We’d love to return in summer to enjoy the amazing outdoor activities like the SUP boards. Highly recommended! We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house is exactly as shown in the photos – spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The surroundings are calm and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax. Near the center (the public transportation is a 5 minute walk away) The host was fantastic: very kind, super communicative, and always available if we needed anything. Everything was clearly explained, and he made sure we had access to all the amenities. This place is truly a hidden gem – the quality you get for the price is outstanding. Wir hatte eine herrliche Auszeit vom Alltag in Rogier’s Häuschen! Rogier hat uns sehr freundlich am Bootsteg empfangen und uns “Landratten” das Handling mit dem Boot und ein paar Besonderheiten im Haus geduldig erklärt. Wir haben alles sehr sauber und aufgeräumt vorgefunden und uns direkt super wohl gefühlt. Das Ferienhäuschen ist wirklich etwas Besonderes! Rogier hat es selbst gebaut und man merkt, wie viel Liebe und Leidenschaft in diesem Projekt steckt. Ich kann einen Aufenthalt dort nur empfehlen, vor allem auch für Familien mit älteren Kindern: Sonnenstunden im Garten und auf der Terrasse, das Schwimmen im See, die Anreise mit dem Boot oder die Kanufahrten haben uns sehr viel Freude gemacht!. Über attraktive Radwege gelangt man in das Zentrum von Utrecht und auch in der Umgebung haben wir schöne Touren gemacht. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: die Straße liegt näher am Haus als gedacht und manchmal trübt Verkehrslärm die Idylle in der Natur ein wenig. Wir sind trotzdem begeistert!

What an amazing place to stay it with kids, there was so much space around the lodge which all felt really safe to let them explore different activities. There was a quite a few groups there but it was never noisy or overcrowded. The lodges were really cool and different to what we stayed in previously, it did go a little cold one of the nights we were there but they were still comfortable and nice (you can rent heaters if needed). We would 100% come back in the future if we travel that way again. We went for a trip to Amsterdam which was easy to get to and Sprookjeswonderland which I would recommend too with children under 6/7

Joli petit cottage. Ideal pour se deconnecter en pleine nature et a une trentaine de minute de Zaans schans, la plage, Amsterdam et 10 minute de keukenhof. Les enfants ont adorés l'environnement avec les animaux a proximité et les canaux. Je recommande super séjour.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei Wendela sehr genossen. Wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt. Das „Rosenhäuschen“ war genau das, was wir uns vorgestellt hatten. Es war unser „ Home away from home“. Und wir werden sicher wiederkommen.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Le logement était super ! On s’y sent très bien. L’environnement était si paisible et le lever du soleil le matin offre un très beau paysage. Le village est très mignon. Facile d’accéder en bus à Amsterdam et parfait pour visiter les alentours. Lonneke nous as très bien accueilli, très gentille et souriante.

Nous avons passé un super week-end. Endroit très paisible, on déconnecte complètement . On entend les grenouilles et les oiseaux chantaient. Nous avons la compagnie de certains canards le matin sur le ponton 😍 Le cadre est manifique. Quand l'heure du départ arrive, on n'a pas envie de partir. Belle ballade possible autour des polders et possibilité de faire un tour de barque. Frédérica est très accueillante et parle très bien le francais. N'hésitez surtout pas , si vous aimez la nature et la tranquillité.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in herausragender Lage. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ideal für Ausflüge. Alles sehr gut zu erreichen und dabei sehr ruhig direkt am Wasser gelegen. Sehr leckeres Frühstück von Esther gegen Gebühr. Kommen gerne mal wieder. Danke an Esther & Marc als freundliche Gastgeber.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit. Das Haus ist toll, man hat alles was man braucht und es war alles sehr sauber. Die Lage ist fantastisch. Man hat einen großen privaten Garten und einen privaten Steg. Haarlem ist mit dem Fahrrad erreichbar und extrem schön. Auch ein sehr guter Supermarkt und ein schönes Restaurant sind nur 1km entfernt. Amsterdam und den Strand erreicht man mit dem Auto innerhalb von 20Minuten. Man kann also sehr viel unternehmen und ist trotzdem sehr für sich und in der Natur.

un havre de paix qui appel au repos, au calme et à la déconnection le chalet est fonctionnel, tout est pensé pour passer un bon moment avec famille, amis, enfants. Des équipements pour les enfants à l extérieur mais aussi à l intérieur. Des hôtes très accueillants, se montrant disponible. Propreté irréprochable, et des petites attentions plaisantes à notre arrivée je recommande cet endroit à tous

das kleine Häuschen ist einfach nur traumhaft. Wir haben uns so richtig entspannt. Wir hatten Frühstück und haben es sehr genossen von Barry verwöhnt zu werden. Immer wieder gerne ❤️

Un séjour très agréable dans un cadre magnifique en pleine nature ! Location conforme à la description et permettant de visiter Rotterdam, la Haye, Amsterdam et bien d’autres encore ! Marja a été très accueillante à notre arrivée. Les enfants ont pu profiter des canoës mis à disposition avec la location. Je recommande ce logement, coupure et dépaysement garantis !

We really loved this cozy cabin. It was very cute and magical. It has a mini kitchen with fridge, hob, kettle, oven, utensils, dishes etc, good and clean bathroom with shower, comfy bed and access to a private garden. Complimentary eggs if you dare facing chickens. There’s also a booklet with all the information you need. The place is in a small village in Watergang 15-20 mins away from city centre by bus, with the bus stop right outside. The village itself is small but quiet and lovely. You can go for a walk around, spend time in the park or simply enjoy nature. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The hosts were very helpful, polite, friendly and responsive. They provided clear instructions, answered any questions we had and were flexible with check in/out time. We didn’t meet them in person so the whole stay was very private. Would definitely recommend this place and the hosts. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

L'alloggio è davvero bello e grande con una zona living enorme. Si è in piena campagna con animali della fattoria e un coloratissimo pavone. I padroni di casa sono persone adorabili ed amichevoli sempre pronte a soddisfare l'ospite: la domenica preparano un ottimo buffet per il brunch e lo servono in giardino. abbiamo adorato la pace e la calma di questo luogo.

We had the most wonderful stay in this charming cabin nestled on the property of a windmill in Alkmaar. From the moment we arrived, our hosts Kelly and Han made us feel completely at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect—so kind, welcoming, and full of great local tips. The cabin itself is a dream—coziness taken to the next level. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, and it was the perfect place to unwind to relax. Waking up next to a windmill felt like something out of a fairytale. Alkmaar itself is a beautiful village full of history, with adorable shops and restaurants to explore. The charming canals add to the magical atmosphere, and it’s easy to hop on a train to Amsterdam for a day trip. We’re already dreaming of our return and feel so lucky to have made such lovely new friends in Kelly and Han. Highly recommend this magical spot to anyone visiting The Netherlands!
