This was a very comfortable stay of 11 days for us. The apartment is spacious. clean, and feels very comfortable right from the outset. It has a well-stocked kitchen and all the amenities and appliances you will need for either a short or long stay. We did a lot of cooking ourselves, but there is also a very nice pub a short walk away. Also the bus takes you straight into the center of Durham from the pub. The area around is pleasant but there isn't much to do except walk and enjoy the countryside, which is very pleasant. The bed was comfy, and the pillows were new (although too soft for us, but thats just personal preference). Overall it was a great stay and well worth the price. The owner was helpful and communicated well, the wifi was good, and the couches comfortable. We would both return and recommend the apartment.

A lovely apartment close to everything that is needed whilst away from home

Arin was a great host, really helpful and friendly and her home was lovely. Wish my home looked that pristine! Really close to the centre and to nice walks. I was staying while working at the Theatre and the walk home felt really safe and the house felt safe and quiet too. Thank you Arin!

Fantastic little apartment cheers for the stay

Another lovely stay at this wonderful apartment. It is so quiet and relaxing yet only a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Durham and very close to the Cathedral. The apartment was spotless and stylishly and very comfortably furnished. The kitchen has everything you could need to cater for yourselves but with a bakery on your doorstep and pubs, restaurants and a Tesco and a Greggs only a few mins walk away theres plenty of choice if you preferred not to cook. Chris & Wendy provide lots of extras on arrival such as bread, croissants, biscuits, eggs, Tiptree jams, milk, orange juice, butter, Prosecco & Lindt chocolates. There is a coffee machine with a huge choice of coffee capsules to choose from and it is so nice to sit on the balcony over the river with a morning coffee watching the wildlife and the river flowing by. We cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough and are looking forward to returning again next year for an even longer stay.

Deborah communicated really well and the apartment was clean and tidy. It had a beautiful dreamy view over the river. The location was perfect with a fabulous patisserie shop on the corner. Hopefully, I will return soon.

The Seaglass Apartment is fantastic!! I stayed for 25 nights and was very sad to leave the Apartment and to leave Seaham. The Apartment had everything I needed. It is nicely decorated and is located within easy walking distance to restaurants, Pubs and stores. The Apartment was extremely clean and has a nice cozy feel. The kitchen is great and the bathroom is wonderful. I especially Loved the bathtub after a long day walking on the beach or hiking. Gillian was Very easy to communicate with and quick to respond to questions. I am really looking forward to staying there again.

Great little cottage, beautiful peaceful and relaxing. Lovely walks, just want we needed. We will be returning for sure.

We stayed here for the first time last year whilst visiting family and have been back multiple times since. We will continue to stay here as it is clean and spacious and David is an extremely responsive host.

There aren't many times when you walk into an AirBnB and say, "Wow - this exceeds my expectations!" but this was definitely one of them. The place has a great layout with modern, very functional kitchen and a lovely main living space with a tasteful vaulted ceiling. Bedrooms were also spacious and comfortable with modern bathrooms. The large windows at the end of the main room have an amazing view of Durham Cathedral, which you can easily walk to via an elevated pedestrian bridge right around the corner. We were in town to visit the University of Durham campus, which was also in easy walking distance. Owners were very helpful/friendly and this was flat where you will truly look forward to spending your evening at the end of the day.

Very good, met all my needs fully. A short drive into the town centre and a communicative and helpful host.

Location was fantastic. 10 minutes away from visiting family.

We have been in so many places in the last two years through Airbnb, but like Daryl place never been, the place had everything, clean, nice kitchen free cluttering, leaving room massive and big TV, nice sofa and pretty clean, rooms were good size with nice mattresses, bathroom very clean, If we ever go to Durham Daryl place will be my top choice to stay. I strongly recommend Daryl place.

Lovely little apartment a couple of minutes walk from the train station and the centre of Durham. Everything you need for a few days away, in a neat little flat on a pretty street. Easy to find and access.

This is a good base from which to visit Durham. Public transport is good. The accommodation is comfortable and homely. Sam is very responsive

Det var en mysig lägenhet med fantastisk utsikt över centrala Darlington. Det var kallt när vi anlände men det löste sig när vi kommunicerade med värden om hur man höjde temperaturen. Dock hade det en tendens att kännas lite kallt. Den extra bäddsoffan skulle kunnat förbättrats med en bäddmadrass och täcket där var för tunt när vi hade kallt i lägenheten. Sängen var mycket bekväm och täcket där var supertjockt. Vi tycker att läget är mycket bra och trivdes gott!

Not your typical holiday let, but a great location for exploring the North East. Clean and easy to find.

We really enjoyed staying at this property. Very central to everything. Host was very communicative and helpful. Highly recommend.
