The house had all the essential items, like what we have at home. The cookwares were incredible, much more than we expected even including a mini wok! The three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were so clean. Laundry machines were good too, separated washer and dryer. You don't need to bring anything to move into this house except toothpaste and toothbrush. The treat was great too - Oreo and Chips. The host provides more than enough towels and 3 hair dryers. Overall, this is a great house, highly recommended.

We can highly recommend Melinda‘s place as it is a home from home and in a great location. Malinda did everything she could to welcome us and make our stay enjoyable. She was very flexible and accommodating, which we much appreciated. The home itself is furnished to a high standard and has many homely features. We particularly enjoyed the garden as it was laid out well for us to sit around the table and chat. Everything worked well and was well thought out. The air conditioning was particularly appreciated as Sydney gets hot and humid in summer. Finally, I have to say something about the location as the Airbnb is in a fantastic spot that has a real village feel to it and is one of the nicest locations I’ve been to in Sydney. Melinda’s home was a lovely space place to spend a week and was very easy getting into town from the train station as it is just around the corner. All in all one of our best ever Airbnb stays.

Tammy’s home was so clean and welcoming- as soon as we walked in, we felt right at home. It had everything we needed for our two young children- we all had a wonderful stay! It was very central and Tammy was a great host and had very effective communication. We would love to stay again!

We booked Jenny's place back in January when we were planning our 5-week stay in Australia. We booked this Airbnb based on reviews, and the post on the website, but knew little to nothing about the location, and where it was in relation to the city. We more than lucked out as the apartment more than lived up to expectations, as did the location - close enough to the bustling King St, with bars and restaurants aplenty, close enough to local transport links to get you wherever we needed, but also really quietly placed near Hollis Park. As a host Jenny was brilliant from day one, communicating throughout and responsive to our needs, if we had an issue, not that we had many because she was so well organised from the start. We've done quite a few Airbnb's now and this ranks very close to the top of the tree, because it mixes great hosting with a great property and a great location. Thank you Jenny for a great thirteen days!

Laura’s place was great. The house was perfect for what we needed. Easy to get to and lovely inside. There was quite a lot of street noise and homeless people which might not be for everyone

We adored Lesley’s house - it’s super stylish with a mid-century vintage feel but so welcoming and home-like. It’s been beautifully designed with different eating and hanging-out spaces and Lesley’s coloured glass collection, gorgeous books and records add so much character. Linen was high quality and the kitchen had everything we could need. Location in a quiet street full of character was great - we walked around Surry Hills and used the coffee shops and restaurants nearby, bought amazing pizza and ice cream round the corner, shopped from the supermarket and even walked to the harbour. We also caught buses to Bondi and rode lime bikes back. Lesley gave us lots of tips and there is plenty of info in the house too. It’s a house full of character with a fabulous feel - I’d return in a flash.

We had a great stay here! Super close to Newtown. Easy to find, free street parking. The house was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. Definitely will be back.

We had a wonderful stay at the Balmain house. Everything was provided for an enjoyable stay with our three grandchildren. They really enjoyed watching all of the different watercraft through the sparking clean glass balconies. The ferry was so close and convenient and we had a delicious dinner at Fenwicks at the ferry dock one night. Marika was extremely hospitable and provided us an early check in since we arrived from the states. Hated to leave.

Our short stay in Sydney was only accentuated by staying at Don’s place. He allowed flexible checkin and gave us access to separate space after over 22 hours of travel to get refreshed. The unit itself was quaint and clean and had everything you needed to make a meal and he was gracious enough to have some snacks/groceries that were complimentary. He was always available with a quick response and suggestions for the lovely Surry Holly’s neighborhood. Honestly, I would not stay anywhere else the next time I come to Sydney.

We had a great stay at the apartment. The views from the rooftop were incredible and the place itself was very well furnished with lots of little extras available for use including umbrellas, beach towels, and kitchen adornments. Sally was a fantastic host with loads of recommendations and really helpful in times of need. Thank you very much.

This Airbnb was the perfect base for our Sydney trip! We loved being just a short walk from the city, with countless amazing cafes and restaurants right on our doorstep. Getting around was incredibly convenient thanks to the abundance of nearby public transport. The apartment itself was comfortable, and we particularly enjoyed the partial Sydney Harbour views and the lovely cooling breeze on the balcony. It was also wonderful finding such a great spot that welcomed our dog, who had a brilliant time on the local coastal park walks. A top choice for convenience and city living!

Good value and a great location to explore the city

Jenny was fabulous and responsive, allowed me to checkin early and helped me move in .. The apartment was just as advertised met all my expectations.. Highly recommend this apartment convenient location and was very quiet .

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Johannes’s apartment. It was in an excellent location for nearby restaurants and the busyness of Redfern but it was quiet. Johannes communicated very efficiently with us and the check in process was seamless.

Had a great final few days of my trip to Sydney here, perfect central location at Hyde Park for exploring and connecting to what the city has to offer. The host had great fast communication and the apartment was modern, clean with great facilities. would highly recommend staying here! thanks!

We (my partner and I) stayed in Malcolm's place for a few weeks and felt right at home! The appartment is fully equipped and stocked, so you have everything you need and more. Malcolm himself is super friendly, helpful and responsive! The building is great and has an amazing indoor and outdoor pool as well as a well equipped gym. We loved our stay there!

Excelente alojamiento en Haymarket. Pasamos unos días maravillosos en el departamento de Lianna. Muy cuidado, limpio, moderno y cómodo y ubicado muy cerca de todas los lugares de interés de la bella Sidney. El market Metro ubicado justo abajo, en la esquina, es un plus que permite el abastecimiento rápido y cómodo. En síntesis, un placer haber permanecido en dicha locación. Muchas gracias!

Brendans place is in an outstanding location. It is walkable to the main sites if you want some decent exercise without a marathon but directly across the street to the hub of all transportation in Sydney. His place is virtually a gateway to Sydney if you are the kind of person that is largely out and about. Wifi was good quality and there was a tobacco store downstairs to store my bags until checkin was ready and after I checked out before it was time for the airport (it is about $10AUD per bag). Brendan is very responsive and enthusiastic and available for any help you may need. I definitely recommend Brendans place to anyone desiring easy and quick access to public transportation as a priority.

This Airbnb is a perfect location for seeing Sydney. You can connect to any part of the city from the bus stop adjacent to the rental. The rental itself was great - everything was clean and the rental was well equipped with everything needed for a week's stay.

My wife and I stayed a week, and really enjoyed the stay. The house works well for a couple. We especially enjoyed the open living room, kitchen and dining room. The deck was wonderful too. The area was quiet at night as well. The view is fabulous and is the house's best feature. Even on a rainy day it's still lovely to stay inside, drink some coffee and read (as well as take in that view). We enjoyed walks around the Potts Point neighborhood, and it's a nice walk to the Wooloomooloo Wharf, RBG, the Art Gallery, and the Opera House/Circular Quay. There are a couple of fans, but during the mid-summer months heat might be an issue. During our stay the temperatures were moderate, and just opening the windows to catch the breeze made the house comfortable. The host was first-rate: attentive, friendly, and responsive. Thanks.

The apartment is extremely well equipped and in a wonderful location. The building is quiet, safe and well-maintained. I would certainly stay there again and recommend to anyone considering a stay in Sydney!
