I stayed here whilst visiting family locally. The room and ensuite were immaculately clean very comfortable and nicely furnished. The shower was huge and worked well. There was the added bonus of a microwave minifridge plates bowls and utensils giving the flex to eat out or grab food in. Wifi worked well. All very welcome as I stayed on my own. Amelia was very welcoming and kind when I needed help with a medical issue. The room was superb value compared to local hotels. I also used the train from penmere making falmouth town and truro easy to get to and taxis were cheap easy and friendly. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed a valentines get away here and it was exactly what we needed. The place was easy to find with detailed instructions from the host. Communication was quick and responsive, especially when we had to adjust our arrival time due to weather/roadworks. When we arrived Tony had lit the fire for us which was perfect. He had also laid out some fresh bread, butter and jam (and the cupboards had lots of condiments, salt/pepper, oil etc) Due to the weather we mostly stayed put and enjoyed the log burner and relaxed setting. The bed was really comfortable and the sheets were of high quality. We did walk into the village to get provisions, which took about 40 mins each way with some steep climbs. Tony was really friendly and welcoming and we’d definitely visit again.

Friendly hostess, easy parking, spacious bedroom/lounge. Beautiful gardens and an outside space to sit. Near shops. Convenient for local beaches and foot ferry to Padstow.

A great place to stay, within an easy walk of Falmouth centre. The accommodation was as shown in the photos, clean, modern and fresh. Julia provided essentials like tea, coffee and milk and some cereal on arrival. So nice to not have to shop for such things before arriving. Julia was very welcoming and showed me the various features. They're also noted in a little handbook but the personal touch was appreciated. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely book again next time I'm in the area.

Sally and Steve were lovely hosts and their beautiful place had everything you might need for your stay. They even treated us with fresh produce on arrival, which was very nice and thoughtful. The surrounding area is beautiful and we wish we had better weather to enjoy it even more. Thank you 😊

Helen's place is a beautiful place to stay in a quiet location close to Charlestown. It is within a 10 minute walk of The Britannia Inn, which serves great food and there is also The Holmbush Inn close by in the opposite direction. Helen and Richard are lovely hosts and make you feel very welcome. This was our second visit to Tristram Counthouse, and Helen and Richard were just as welcoming and accommodating as last year and Henry, their new Springer Spaniel was also a delight. We certainly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return again.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was beautiful and peaceful with a country view and no neighbors in sight. The pool was heated and the views from the pool/hot tub were beautiful and peaceful.

Alexis is a great host, she let us know the cottage was ready and that we could check in a little early. The cottage has been beautifully renovated and is immaculately presented. It’s in a great location for exploring Cornwall, fantastic beach on the doorstep and lots of places to eat within walking distance. We took the scenic train (10mins walk to the station) to St. Ives, stopping at The Old Forge in Levant for dinner on the way back which was outstanding, from there we strolled for half an hour back. On our second day we drove round the coast and explored Penzance, had Cornish cream tea and pasties in the pretty Mousehole, a fish and chip supper by the harbour in Newlyn before heading the Minack Theatre on the cliff top in Porthcurno to hear The Fisherman’s Friends sing sea shanty’s overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. A fantastic stay with lovely hosts, I left my bracelets behind and Alexis was super quick to post them back to me. Highly recommend a stay here.

This was a sweet efficient little space in a great location. The path walk out to beach right close by was beautiful and unforgettable. The place was quiet and good for sleeping.The hosts were friendly and kind. We loved our too short visit to Newquay!

The white cottage is an ideal place for someone wanting to visit Newquay. The room was lovely and served us perfectly for our two night stay. It is clear that a lot of care went into preparing the room for our stay. This was evident due to all the amenities supplied to us, including milk, coffee, tea and shower supplies! The location is also perfect as it is a small walk from the nearest beach and the town itself. Not to mention it being highly affordable. Thank you for having us!

It was great to stay at Joanna and Peter's place, it is exactly as listed. modern and comfortable place. Everything was great, and the attention to detail (the experience of using the flat) was very good! The local amenities of Launceston (Tesco, M and S, town centre) are only a few minutes drive. Cornwall and area is great. It was super quiet and easy to sleep, and the bed is very comfortable like you would get in a hotel! I particularly liked the skylights that could be opened and closed by the press of a button! Peter and Joanna were very responsive, friendly hosts and it was a pleasure to stay.

Lovely place to stay. Very comfortable everything you could wish for. Off road parking. Quiet. Patio to sit with a glass or cup of tea. Lovely welcoming pack. 10 min walk to Marazion. Lucy is very welcoming and helpful. Do not hesitate book you wont be disappointed

We had a nice stay. Room was very clean and nicely arranged with all basic amenities. It was pleasure stying in that property and we really felt like home away from home, Thank you Rupert for hosting us!

This is a lovely place to stay as so close to train station so just park the car short walk to station . Great for exploring around Cornwall. The annex is beautiful clean everything you need for your stay and Sally is always on hand should you need anything. I would highly recommend staying here first class .

Absolutely amazing place to stay would 100% recommend, you could not wish for anything more they really have sort of everything. Such a quiet and calm getaway.

Wir haben Cornwell mit dem Bus und mit dem Auto erkundigt.Sophie hat uns bei Auto mieten gerettet. Uns hat alles sehr gut gefallen und für die ersten beiden Tage Regen kann Sophie ja nichts. Sehr gerne wieder.

The location is truly breathtaking—an ideal setting for a peaceful and restorative getaway. Evenings were particularly magical, with the soothing sound of waves crashing against the shore and the gentle aroma of the log burner creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Both nearby pubs, The Lugger Inn and The Russell Inn, were delightful. The Russell Inn stood out in particular, offering excellent food and a well-curated selection of beers. The bar staff and local patrons were incredibly friendly, contributing to a relaxed and genuinely enjoyable experience. 100% recommended!!

The accommodation was lovely - very tranquil and with a nice view at the river. Also you can observe a lot of birds and squirrels from the window. The flat had everything we needed and is very cozy with a lot of little design details. The bathroom is nice and spacious. Parking is just outside the door, you definitely need a car to get there and make the most of the area. Chris and Xuella were wonderful hosts. They were quick in answering and Chris showed us around and made sure all our questions were answered. Thanks for hosting us, we would definitively come back again!

The space is very nice with lots of character. The furniture is modern and comfy and the kitchen had what we needed. The outdoor space was good for letting the dog have a quick runaround in the mornings. The walk into town is quick and although it’s steep back up(as with most of Fowey) it’s not that bad, plus there’s a handy signposted route for prams which we used.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Absolutely beautiful property set in beautiful countryside and Jon and Vic were super helpful, friendly and responsive. Highlights were the stunning views from the kitchen/dining window, the wood burner and the amazingly comfortable bed. If you want a relaxing hideaway close to amazing beaches and restaurants this is for you.
