A gem on a tranquil river - the perfect hideaway for a romantic weekend.

We had a lovely one night stay here. The hot tub was the biggest attraction and didn’t disappoint. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable and cosy. We also appreciated the restaurant recommendations and found a lovely place to eat in Lytham. Thank you!

This place is a jewel on the Airbnb site and perfect in every way. It has everything done to the highest speck you could ask for. The host could do no more for you. The bed was so comfortable that we slept for hours and hours. It had everything we needed and a bonus of being offered warm scones too❤️

Really lovely spot. I went with my two kids and the space was great. We built a fire and kicked a ball about. Because we are guests we could play in the playground till late which was great! Will be back for another small getaway.

had a lovely chilled weekend with my partner, the cabin was beautiful, cosy and clean, it was lovely to see the deer from our cabin. The bathroom just a very short walk away from the cabin was very clean, shower was hot and powerful 👌 we took advantage of the boat ride on their lake, that was fun. Ruth was very helpful, lovely host, lovely place ... will return 🥰

What a fantastic place to stay! The Cozy Cabin was just right for the two of us. The bed was comfy, the shower was hot and powerful, the wifi worked well and it was very well-equipped for making light meals. There was a lovely spot to sit outside for breakfast and watch the Highland cows in the adjacent field and the birds on the bird feeders in the garden. Natalie was a great host who had thought of everything we needed. Her recommendations for places to eat and drink in Kirkcudbright were spot on. Highly recommended all round. Thank you Natalie. We will be returning.

We had a great stay in the Beacon Pod. Fab location - lovely and peaceful but only a short drive to Kendal. Hot tub and views were fab

Staying at The Hobbit Hub was an absolutely amazing and dreamy experience! From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a fairytale. Every little detail was so thoughtfully designed — cozy, magical, and full of character. It truly felt like a hidden escape from the world. The atmosphere was peaceful, the surroundings were beautiful, and the space itself was spotless and comfortable. We loved every second of our stay and didn’t want to leave! Thank you for creating such a unique and memorable experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Perfect place if you want some peace and quiet while being surrounded by nature. The hut is very cosy and the surroundings just breath taking. I only saw Nicola for brief moment, but she was very welcoming and kind.

Absolutely lovely place. Wish we could have stayed longer than one night. It was very comfortable and cozy, beautifully decorated, and had spectacular views. The gardens around are relaxing, and the area is quiet. Would be a great home base for visiting the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Liverpool/Manchester. Would love to come back again!

Just the break away we needed! Sarah’s place was absolutely spotless and everything has been carefully thought out. The bathroom is beautifully decorated and the kitchen area makes a great use of space. We had a lovely night inside, playing games with some (much needed) drinks and listening to the radio. Equally, a gorgeous evening on night two at a local pub. Arriving to a baked loaf and milk in the fridge was very much appreciated as we forgot to bring either! Stanley 🐾 enjoyed his treats too was grateful of the water bowl provided - as we also forgot his 🫣! Overall, the place is stunning inside and out. Sarah was proactive with check in/out detail and was a fab host. We’d love to stay again!

We stayed for 2 nights, and our only regret was that we didn’t book for longer! It is such a beautiful area and we found the surroundings so relaxing. There is so much to explore and do within short driving distance, and the recommendations from the hosts were very appreciated-I would say a car is a must though as it is very rural. The property was stunning, so clean and beautifully designed and all the finishing touches really made it special. It had everything we needed and more. The hosts are fantastic, leaving fresh eggs, milk and butter on arrival alongside flowers and chocolates etc. They are very responsive and friendly, and told us everything we needed to know. Thank you so much, we look forward to staying again one day!

Stunning stay if you’re looking for something quiet and peaceful. Couldn’t have asked for better surroundings, the river is on the door step with a place to relax by the fire. The hot tub was lovely and warm, pre heated by the host. All round amazing stay!

A lovely quick night away, it is in a very relaxing setting close by to town. We walked down the canal (which is beautiful!) and had a couple of drinks and headed back for a relaxing evening. A lovely touch having some games to play - we played cards! Victoria is extremely proactive in her responses and welcomed us to the property! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Me and Layla came recently for her 30th birthday. We would like to say a massive thank you to Mike and his Nan, we really had the best time. The hut and surroundings were absolutely gorgeous, the breakfast made was beauitful. The friendly nature of them both, always there to help, giving us a tour and always responsive, we really appreciated. We honestly couldn’t recommend enough and we will be coming back! Thank you

Stayed two nights at Laura's with my son for my birthday. Beautiful location, fantastic cabin, well equipped, clean and cosy. Great location for things to see and do. Spent the day at Leighton Moss, a few miles away, which is great. Highly recommend this beautiful place. Particularly enjoyed the bench by the lake watching the birds and the baby Coots. We stayed at the bothy for two nights for our one year wedding anniversary, and we couldn't have asked for more. The Bothy itself was cosy, clean and we felt right at home. The surroundings are STUNNING, so calm, peaceful and currently surrounded by new born lambs which was an added bonus. We hit extremely lucky with the weather, which meant we could sit outside in the garden for our first BBQ of the year! Jon was great with communication, he was there at check in and was very friendly and approachable. He offered local recommendations for walks/ pub stops etc. We brought our super excitable pup along with us and found beautiful walks right on the doorstep. We often say once we have been somewhere, we would try somewhere new however, this bothy is something special and we both agree we would return in a heartbeat.
