The Old Stables might be the most interesting house I've ever stayed in. Cozy. And quirky. Kids loved it! It features hidden closets, a hidden bedroom for two dwarfs, a hidden laundry room and even a hidden toilet. We counted at least 78 places one can hide stuff in. There's a vampire house next doors and a cemetery behind it. The living room is spacious, there's a separate corner for reading upstairs and a big table for board games. The beds are comfy. Everything worked and was clean. Jane was very comunicative and helpful. She even lent us a vacuum cleaner for our car when the kids made mess in it. Tall and plus-size fellows, beware though. There's low ceilings, very low arches and corridors one has to literally squeeze through. While we loved the house, it might not be for everyone. Heartily recommended.

Maxine’s place was beautiful and characterful. So clean and everything you would need for your stay. We were provided with very detailed instructions covering all aspects of our stay and Maxine was very responsive if we ever needed anything. The place is located in such a beautiful quiet area which suited us with 2 young children. We used the barn as a base and spent the days in Abersoch and Phwelli returning in the evening to view the magnificent stars and beautiful wildlife.

We loved the layout of this place—upstairs living and downstairs sleeping worked perfectly for us. The floors were quite noisy, but thankfully, with toddlers around, most of our group was already used to a little extra noise! If you're comfortable driving up steep roads, this venue is well worth it. It was wonderfully warm inside, so much so that we didn’t even get a chance to use the fire! There are plenty of activities and adventures within a 15 to 30-minute drive, but the on-site games room is a great option for fun as well. While we didn’t get to explore nearby walks, we noticed plenty of people parked close by, suggesting there’s lots to enjoy in the area. The hosts were fantastic—friendly, helpful, and made our stay even more enjoyable. We’d absolutely recommend this place!

What a wonderful place to stay!. The house is both charming and functional. The kitchen is better equipped than my own home! All was nice and clean and Helwn even left us some basics (butter, milk, tea, coffee, etc.). My kids loved the bedrooms and some of the quirks like having to be careful not to let the sheep out of the gate when driving in! I think this is the best place I have found on Airbnb in more than 10 years of using it!!! Hope to come back some time.

An amazing visit. The place was perfect for what we wanted, being able to enjoy the sun in the garden, hot tub in the evening, kitchen and dinning area suitable for cooking and hosting for a large group and very comfy beds. Host was fantastic, check in and out details very clear, although nearby didn't feel overlooked at all and came over to offer to set up the outdoor seating area and bbq for us as the weather was great! Looked at recommendations in the area before going, went for food at small plates in Ruthin, canoed the aqueduct and went on a walk suggested in the airbnb folder! Would highly recommend and would visit again!

Once you are at the Barn cottage you feel instantly at home. The drive is a little nerve wracking and we were glad that it was sunny weather and that we encountered no cars coming in the opposite direction. The cottage has everything you need for a relaxing stay and the Welsh cakes, tea/coffee and milk were nice to find waiting for us. The back yard of the cottage is secure with outdoor setting and grass area which was great for some improv family games. Martin was such a friendly and responsive host.

Excellent accommodation, exactly as described. Two well appointed bedrooms with powerful hot showers. We really appreciated the toys, tractor and box of Lego which kept our grandson busy for quite a few hours. Very welcoming hosts, and two lovely labradors who came to say hello. Only a short drive to Loggerheads Country Park for a great walk with lovely scenery.

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Snowdonia! We had the most magical stay at this cozy nestled in the stunning landscape of Snowdonia. The kitchen was well-equipped, the bed was incredibly comfortable, superpower shower, and the hosts were warm, welcoming, and full of great local recommendations. If you're looking for a peaceful, beautiful escape with a real sense of comfort and charm, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back!

A beautiful stay in the remote Welsh countryside – just what we needed. David and Heather were fantastic hosts and even baked us a gorgeous dairy-free lemon cake and biscuits (thank you so so much!). Everything was pristine and exactly as shown on the website. A short drive from stunning walks, railways and the sea. 10/10 would recommend.

Great small touches lovely fresh eggs, bread, butter, wine and even supplied some baby food for our grandson. Very friendly and thoughtful, responsive to requests. We also met Luke who kindly lit us a fire in the evenings. Lovely Airbnb comfortable and in beautiful surroundings. Would recommend.

We were thrilled with this airbnb. It was beautiful and spacious. One of our party was in a wheelchair and was able to get around downstairs with ease. The downstairs bedroom was perfect for them (which is a room in it's own right, not the lounge with sofa beds as I thought from the pictures). The downstairs bathroom was also great for them. Gemma had put out ramps for the slight step on the entry door, and a step inside approaching the lounge. She had also rolled up the rugs to make it easier for them to get around. She was proactive and always responsive to texts. There was room for our four cars outside! We often saw Gemma go past with her beautiful horses and she stopped for a chat. I can recommend this place with enthusiasm, it is a haven of peace and comfort. (You don't need a code to get into the gate even though it looks like it from the pictures, but you will get a key-box code for the front door key a day or two before you get there).

We had a lovely stay using it as a base for various activities in North Wales. It's such a peaceful spot, and Fiona and Richard were so helpful with check in and other info. Loved all the animals too.

Had a lovely stay here with my friends for my 30th birthday. The house is stunning, exactly like the pictures and it was spotless. The location is great, it feels very private as no one is over looking you. Cordula was a great host and was very quick to respond to any queries that I had. I would recommend staying here and would absolutely stay here again!

Amazing cottage!!!! Great location if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway but also plenty to do around the area. I definitely recommend visiting abersoch. Beautiful beaches and amazing walks. The hot tub was perfect and just what we needed definitely my favourite thing!! Definitely will be coming back☺️amazing hosts too very friendly.

We have had a lovely stay at Emma's cottage. it is extremely picturesque and very peaceful. The children loved seeing the animals and the hot tub was very relaxing at the end of the day watching the sun set.

Jane’s flat proved to be an utterly delightful sanctuary, ideal for a tranquil escape. The location was simply idyllic, affording sweeping, panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. It was finished to an exceptionally high standard, boasting everything from state-of-the-art ventilation to luxurious underfloor heating, and maintained with impeccable cleanliness throughout. Jane’s generosity was particularly noteworthy; she had thoughtfully stocked the fridge with a selection of complimentary treats, which was most appreciated. Although Jane and her family reside adjacent to the flat, my privacy was entirely respected, and they were unfailingly discreet. At the same time, Jane was wonderfully helpful in recommending charming local attractions, which greatly enhanced my stay.A particular highlight was Jane’s enchanting garden. It was a veritable haven, brimming with vibrant flowers alongside with melodious birds song. All in all it was just a perfection! Thank you, Jane!

Had a really love couple of nights with a group of friends over New Years Eve. Margaret was really helpful, she met us when we arrived and showed us around the house so we knew where everything was. The place is huge so that was really helpful. It looks just like the photos and is in a really lovely place, we could see horses out of our window and at night the stars were really bright. It was a perfect countryside escape and really well suited to a big group of people.

We spent 4 nights in The Stable, and found it quiet, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The views across the fields to the sea were amazing. Our dog, Holly was captivated by the sheep, rabbits and birds that she could see out of the picture window! The cottage was conveniently located for exploring the coast and mountains. We would recommend, and will return when we are next in the area.

Fantastic cottage, in lovely surroundings, hosted by a friendly family. Can thoroughly recommend. Deceptively spacious cottage, which was very clean & tidy. Charlotte & Nick took the time to provide us with plenty of local recommendations for nearby walks, activities & eating, based on the age of our children. We had a great time, and would love to return again.

Had a fantastic stay. Toby was a great host and very welcoming. The grounds are lovely and the sauna was amazing. We really enjoyed the home theatre and projector in the evenings. Great facilities and incredible views. The private boat lake was amazing as well. Couldn't have chosen a better place for us. It was perfect.

Absolutely lovely weekend in Stablau’r Esgob. It was spotless, everything you needed was provided and was well thought out (shelves and sockets by the bed, a little set of stacking coffee tables in the living room, coasters, kitchen cookware etc). Lovely renovation, the kitchen is stunning and the log burner adds the finishing touch. The little welcome hamper with details about the Stable, some Welshcakes (and chocolate of course) and local information was a great touch. The hosts were very informative and responded quickly. Will definitely be back.

June's place was the perfect spot for us to relax in after spending our days out exploring the beautiful mountains and beaches. June was very welcoming - we were especially happy with her great restaurant recommendations which made sure we were very well fed throughout our stay. The barn is small and cozy but has everything you need. Since it was still pretty cool outside, we were very happy to light a fire every night and spend some time in the hot tub enjoying the amazing views. Overall, I couldn't recommend it more. Thanks you June for our wonderful stay!
