We had a fabulous time at the Hemlock Haven during spring break. We divided our time between morning hikes in Shenandoah NP and afternoons at the house. The host, Jean, was excellent - proactive with messaging and very responsive. The house is beautiful and meticulously organized. Dinners were a not too far drive, and we liked the Chop House Bistro, Dark Horse Irish Gastropub, and Vault & Cellar. We enjoyed evenings with our boys playing games on the enclosed porch with a fire going. We would definitely stay there again!

What an incredible stay! The home was spotlessly clean—truly one of the cleanest Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. Every detail was pristine, which made it feel so welcoming and comfortable. It was also beautifully and tastefully decorated, creating a cozy yet stylish atmosphere throughout. The outdoor space was just as impressive—peaceful, private, and perfect for relaxing. We especially loved the fenced-in hot tub area, which made it easy to unwind while our dogs stayed safe nearby. And the sauna was such a cool and unexpected bonus! The location is secluded enough to feel like a true escape, yet close to wineries, restaurants, and everything else you might need. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. We had the most relaxing weekend with family and friends—this place is a true gem. We can’t wait to return!

We loved our stay at Hapua. It was perfect for the whole family. The quarry is beautiful and the home was very comfortable.

Everything was top notch, pictures don't do the location justice. The ambiance is peaceful quiet fresh air beautiful views, the house is as listed and more, You get what you paid for. Leena is an amazing person very responsive and very hospitable. Don't think twice just book you will not be disappointed.

Loved every minute of our stay. Was warm and cozy and very welcoming of kids. My daughter (4 yrs) loved the books and toys. My son (6 yrs) loved the Zipline and building a fire with dad in the fire pit. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was perfect for morning coffee and family meals. We would definitely enjoy staying here again.

We had such a wonderful experience staying at this beautiful home. The property itself is absolutely magnificent, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning natural beauty. It was the perfect setting for a restful and grounding stay. Hillary, our host, went above and beyond in every way. She was so gracious, generous, and welcoming, and made us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. Chris, the property manager, was equally amazing—quick to respond, flexible, and incredibly accommodating with anything we needed. You can really feel the care and heart that goes into maintaining this home and hosting guests. We’re so grateful for the experience and would absolutely love to return. Highly, highly recommend!

There are few things in life as stressful as getting married. My new husband and I knew that after all the insanity of our wedding, we would not have the strength or mental fortitude to go on our long honeymoon to Japan immediately. However, we still wanted to commemorate our night. Sunset Rouge was the perfect spot for us to decompress after a huge 150 person party. It was so comfortable, it was almost like going home. We had the option to go out and explore, but since we were so tired, we decided to stay in, cozy up, watch TV and cook our own meals. We LOVED having all the options available. Beautiful home, beautiful grounds, amazing hot tub, comfy bed- everything was newlywed approved! Finally, the hosts were so kind and gracious to allow our friends to check-in for us before we arrived, and decorate the room a bit for our big, romantic night. We really appreciated this, because it would have been impossible to do ourselves the day of our wedding. We will be back!!!!
