Lez is the friendliest, loveliest host on the planet ! I kid you not. She gave a very warm welcome and a lovely cold drink, went down a treat after a long hot drive. Lez knows the area well & gave us so much info on what there is to do near their lovely home, but also further afield. Easy drive to the Cederberg Wilderness. The terrace is a bonus, to watch the sunset from over the mountains, then star gazing in the biggest skies. The pool is a luxury too. Kitchen is fully equipped. Everything here for that break away from the rat race. Highly recommend this property. Thank you Lez for the most memorable place we stayed on our trip around your beautiful country.

We spent our Anniversary there, the waterfall was incredible, we swam in the dam, went back to our cosy cottage, got into the hotub with some champers, looked up at the milky way, counted satellites and had the most unforgettable and romantic wedding anniversary. We will definitely go back. Thank you to the hosts for an incredible experience, what a beautiful location.

Amazing place in a peaceful location with super helpful and attentive staff. A definite plus is the ability to do star gazing while at the same time relaxing in a hot tub. Really doesn’t get any better than that

We had a wonderful stay and the hot tub was an absolute hit!! The open shower and toilet took some getting used to :). We loved the space and will def go back.

We travelled from accommodation in the Cape wine lands and were set to arrive at 14:00 (the usual check in time). We double checked the booking and saw check in was only after 15:00. We contacted the host early that morning to see if earlier check in would be ok and were told “you’re welcome” a couple of hours later. However, when we arrived, the reception had not been informed about our early arrival and we had to wait for quite a while in the backpackers area where there’s nothing to do. Not a major issue, but communication between the host and reception would have avoided us arriving early and having to sit around counting rocks. Once we booked in and got the hot tub going, everything was simply amazing. The unit is well-stocked and everything you need is available. The unit was clean, free of bugs (even though it’s surrounded by bush), and very comfortable. The staff at the reception area and shop are friendly and helpful.

What an amazing weekend away. The communication was so clear and we were never left wondering about anything. We stayed in the Blokhuys and it was very private. We spent basically the whole weekend on the stoep taking in the beautiful surroundings. We were a little bit disheartened as the pool was very close to one of the cottage’s outside area. So it felt a bit like we were intruding their privacy when we went to swim. Despite this, we cooled off in our own little tub which we then fired up at night. We walked to and swam in the waterfall (incredible) and we were so grateful for the aircon in the cottage. Also, I think our dog had the best weekend of her life, this was the biggest win. Can’t wait to visit again next year!

An awesome destination for some quite travel with friends and family. Our hosts helped us with the most delicious meal pack we've had in our travels so far, and the corn bread is unbelievably moreish. A gem quite literally at the end of the road. We'd love to come back, and our only regret is staying for one night.

Mark and Jules house is beautiful property. We loved how big the spaces and the incredible ocean view. Its very peacefull and walkable to the beach. our family will for sure come back here one day 🥰❤

Tanya’s house is perfect for a weekend getaway! A highlight of the house is that you can sit on the stoep and still have so much privacy from people walking by in the road. The house is only a quick walk from the beach, which is so nice when you want to go for a quick dip. We had a really comfortable stay and would highly recommend the house!

The home is very well equipped and we were struck by all the thoughtful touches in terms of what was provided. The walks/trail runs around the home are just lovely with gorgeous views and lovely traditional fynbos. Very much recommended.

I want to share my impressions of our weekend in a lovely house we rented with friends. The place was cozy and comfortable, perfect for relaxation. The nature around was simply breathtaking: green forests and fresh air created a serene atmosphere. We enjoyed morning walks and evening gatherings on the terrace. Huge thanks to Jane for her hospitality and care. This weekend left us with only positive emotions, and we will definitely come back!

Very spacious accommodations and convenient location to anything in Clanwilliam. About 20-30 min to the bouldering/Cederberg area. Host/manager were easy to get in contact with and helpful with any issues. The front bedroom is noisy, with street noise and dogs barking, but the back bedroom is quieter. Unit 8 did not have a desk upstairs as pictured on AirBnB; only working area is the dining room. Loadshedding (scheduled blackouts) is a thing to be aware of in South Africa-- you may be without electricity 2 to 8 hours a day. The house wifi does have battery backup, which was great, and the stove is propane, so you can still cook during loadshedding. There is daily housekeeping provided (and required). Host provides 20kw hours of electricity a day; if you go over, you have to buy your own electricity. We didn't have any trouble staying under the 20 unit allotment. It is cold in the house during the winter, so prepare to bundle up inside! They provide electric blankets which were great.

6 of us stayed here for almost 6 weeks. Location for climbing in rocklands was great. Eugene was very communicative and helpful! Internet was a little slow, might be challenging to work remotely here, but other than that it was great!

What a truly beautiful and special place! We had the most wonderful stay! We enjoyed every minute and would return in a heartbeat! Thank you Bradley family!

Great location! The pictures are a small glimpse of what you can expect from the views. The hosts are very friendly and communicative. The house is fairly well stocked with kitchen utensils and crockery (if you'd like to do some cooking).

Up there with the best places we have ever stayed. Truly wonderful in every way and an unexpectedly perfect find. A superbly well equipped home surrounded by nature and views, places to explore and space enabling solitude for anyone wanting peace. A big 5 stars.

It was our third time staying at Melanie's place - we just love how peaceful it is and the house with the garden is just beautiful. The hot tub was great for us and the kids. Would recommend it to anyone who needs to get out of the city and in need of a peaceful retreat.

It took us long to get there from Muizenberg but it was so worth it! The cabin was quaint and clean. We took our two dogs with and they were welcomed and we had a fence to keep them in. The property is beautiful with incredible walks/hikes. There are also a lot of options for swimming which is great in that heat! The hosts were also very welcoming. Thanks and we'll hopefully be back soon!

A fabulous spot overlooking the Clanwilliam dam, offering superb sunsets and tranquility. We stayed in the lovely Lakeview house which is nice and spacious with private pool and with an outdoor braai under a big shady tree, which is just fantastic at sunset.
