As explained we did not get any communication about the exact property and only by chance saw the cleaners who with permission gave us the code. If we had not seen them Airbnb were going to cancel the booking. After we were settled the whole stay was great. It's a very good and handy flat.

We like fell walking. This flat was perfect and allowed us get up and out for an early start on the fells. It meant we could park more easily and see the fells just after sunrise. Parking space right outside front door excellent, virtually in town centre will all the pubs and restaurants to hand. Flat was very clean and well equipped with great views over Fritz park and fells beyond. Will definitely return.

Second time staying at this unique place. Very comfortable and homely flat with everything that you need. There are some good cafes nearby and a good bar in the Teesdale Hotel. The locals in Middleton in Teesdale are very friendly and welcoming. Lots of good walks from the doorstep and Low/High Force a short drive away. Highly recommend.

The easiest 5stars we’ve ever given to be honest. Lee is a perfect host and his home is lovely. Our hosts has thought of everything, from bread, milk, juice and other basics to local maps, guides and takeaway menus. We loved the bathroom and the dressing gowns and slippers were such a thoughtful extra. The whole cottage is ready for a quiet, perfect evening. We can’t wait to come back

Really loved staying here - wish we could’ve done more than one night! The place was so cosy and had everything we needed. It was very clean and really nicely decorated. We had a little trouble getting the oven working but the host was really responsive when we had a question about it. I’d love to stay here again as the village is really cute and had some lovely walks, and was just a short drive to Penrith.

Great last minute break away. In a great spot easy to walk into town and the lake. The living space is beautiful and plenty of room for all of us. Overall a lovely home to stay in

Lovely cottage in a perfectly idyllic setting tucked away 5 mins from all amenities in Ambleside. Very clean and well equipped and Catherine was very easy to deal with. Would be happy to return.

Well, what a stay! Authentic characterful farmhouse beautifully furnished and equipped. We were right at home immediately…..across the lane to the Black Swan, up the road to the golf course and right bang in the centre of the most spectacular countryside! A bath with a view, a farmhouse table, roaring fire and family fun an antidote to the real world, even if just for a while …. Would recommend it to all - take this medicine at least annually! ❤️

Fantastic accomodation, right on the lake with loads of thoughtful treats on arrival. Just what we wanted! Very close to bustling Bowness but also a short hop to tranquility of west shore. We enjoyed kayaking around the islands from our doorstep and took bikes on car ferry and visited Wray castle. Our teenage lads loved the footgolf 5mins from house too. Loads of great walks from nearby. We drove to grasmere (20 min) and did Fairfield horseshoe. Perfect base for all the family. Thanks Helen!

We had an amazing weekend at Garry’s place. There’s lots to do in the area but we couldn’t think of a good reason to leave. The property is right on the beach which was very much enjoyed by children and the dog. The house is really well equipped. It was clean and beautifully furnished. Beds were super comfy. Lots of space for 4 adults two children and a dog.

The place was beautiful and very welcoming . It felt like home almost immediately. It's located in a very private setting and we loved the river at the back of the property. We had a few teething issues to begin with as we had a wasps nest outside and the occasional power outage when the switch tripped on the fuse box but the host, Cheryl, was very quick to respond and helped resolve things straight away. She even offered to give us an extra day for free but because we had work the next day the option of a late checkout instead was very welcome. I would highly recommend this place and Cheryl was absolutely fantastic! Thank you Cheryl!

This was a lovely place to stay with my family (my wife, 5-year-old, and 2-year-old). The property is a first-floor flat facing the river, with wonderful views at breakfast!. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of Keswick, with both the Booths and Coop being similar, both slightly closer than that. The property itself is a characterful and slightly quirky layout that retains its historical charm whilst having had a modern refurbishment. The instructions Lara gave were really clear and helpful in terms of finding the property and operating the door access and the heating. We would gladly stay here again when we are back in Keswick.

Lovely and spacious apartment fully equipped for our weekend away. Perfect combination of rustic and modern aesthetic. Kitchen was fully suited for all cooking needs. Bathrooms and all other areas were spotless. living room was a cozy place to chill with plenty of space. Location is perfect as right in the heart of Kendal with nearby shops and restaurants if needed. It was easy to travel to anywhere in the Lake District from here. Check-in was very straightforward.

Great little flat for a visit located right by the Dock Park which is perfect if you have kids and for a walk round. Designated parking space right outside the property and a short walk into town. Provided lots of recommendations for restaurants and takeaways and things to do whilst visiting. Would highly recommend this place and would happily book again when the time comes.

Love the place, beautiful view, great location. Waking up hearing the sound of birds and looking at the river, what a perfect getaway.

We had an amazing experience and I would strongly recommend. We are a large group with dogs in tow, perfect layout, size and space for all. Accommodation has everything you could need and more. Thankfully not a white/grey box and appropriately decorated and maintained to be homely and comfortable. Hosts could not have done more in meeting our needs, being thoroughly hospitable, accommodating and informative throughout. Location is remote and hosts do everything to manage guests expectation in being prepared for staying in the breath taking surroundings Perfect opportunity to take life back to basics - our group is mostly teenagers and not one of them were bored or missing their phones for the full stay! Would definitely stay again. Thank you so much for being fabulous hosts!
