Comfortable apartment in quiet residential estate. Perfect for us visiting elderly relative on same estate. Could easily walk into village for pubs or dog walks in woods. Flooring made it easy to clean after dog walks. Well equipped kitchen. Good shower. Comfy beds. If visiting with more than 3 people, would benefit from additional chair in lounge.

Perfect place to start or finish the Hadrians wall path. Staff were great. So much room on offer in their apartments.

We had a wonderful stay here and cannot wait to come back! Jennifer is amazing as a host, quick responses and so helpful. She gave us a list of things we could whilst we were there which was so helpful. The apartment is so cosy and was spotless when we arrived. The holiday village is fantastic for kids. The swimming pool is easy to book online and the playroom is great for the younger ones. The restaurant is a bit on the expensive side but we were able to cook in the apartment, each evening. The double air fryer was super handy! We loved this place and genuinely cannot wait for another visit.

Just returned from a three day stay at Michael's place. It was fabulous, great communication from Michael, the apartment was spotless ,easy check in, very quiet beautiful setting. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed. Very convenient for all areas, great walks. Lots of eating places nearby. Swimming pool was a bonus! Would definitely recommend Michael's place. We will go back again !

A perfect base for the start of our Hadrian’s Wall Cycle adventure. We did a Solway loop to Silloth, then Carlisle and back to Bowness on Solway (around 56miles)

Such a gorgeous stay at Jerrys place! We loved the location - easy access to lots of the Lake District. Decorated lovely and a home away from home feel. Staff on site were lovely, and Jerry was really helpful with any questions we had - responded quickly. Thanks for a lovely stay! We’ll be back!

We had a great stay! The apartment was easy to find and was spotless! Nice little touches with board games which makes it more homely! It really was like a home from home and was really cosy! We'll definitely be back again!

We went for a short break and it was lovely! The house was perfect for chilling out after a long day. Kitchen had a lot of things we needed and plenty of things to do even in the home! Perfect location, both towns either side of us with lots of options to eat and all within walking distance too. We were so glad we were able to stay here and hoping to be back soon! Thank you so much!

Colin contacted us prior to our stay to give us accurate details of where to go, and what to do. He gave us his contact number incase there was any issues, and told us to contact him anytime. His apartment was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the photos do not do it justice.. and the views from the balcony were 100%. The location was perfect for what we was looking for. We would highly recommend ,and definitely stay there again.😊

The loft apartment at Bowness House Farm exceeded our expectations- in fact the whole courtyard complex did. The apartment was beautifully styled and thought through with an excellent kitchen area, spacious en-suite, very comfortable sitting area and bed. We loved the details and finish- in fact I wish we’d been staying for a week rather than one night. Michelle, the manager, was welcoming and helpful. She also cooked our delicious breakfast this morning. The restaurant is full of warmth and character and we loved the inspirational sayings from 20th century icons ( including Nelson Mandela, Bob Marley and Stephen Hawking), the sparkling lights and the general ambience. We also throughly enjoyed our evening meal there. This was such a beautiful place I’d cycle the 150 miles back just to stay again !

Fantastic apartment for a weekend stay. Extremely comfy bed and well stocked kitchenette. Rebecca was great with her communication and check in was quick and easy. The hotel facilities included in our stay were great, with a pool (free pool towels available), sauna, bar/restaurant and kids games room. Lovely grounds, quiet and peaceful. Easy access to Keswick. Would definitely recommend to anyone wishing for a quiet, peaceful stay clowe to other towns and attractions.

The caravan was tastefully decorated, sparkling clean and right by the little pond - definitely the best spot in the holiday park! It had all the equipment we needed and there was lots to do for the children around the holiday park as well. Can't fault it really..

Lodge was lovely. Very clean and lots of space. Particularly liked the hidden walk in dressing room in the main bedroom. Hot tub was nice and hot (40). Nice sized TV in lounge which could be rotated to suit. Enjoyed the little welcome pack - didnt last long! If you want to walk into Hexham (we did), its about 2 miles down a straight road. Plenty of taxi firms around if you dont fancy driving. Hexham is a great little town, with plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs. Overall we were really impressed with this lodge, we felt it was good value for money and would definitely return in future.

The apartment is as pictured, comfortbale with beautiful views. It was the perfect spot for exploring the Lakes. There is also lots on offer at Whitbarrow Holiday Village making it a great place to stay.

Lovely house in a great location near Lake Windermere. We visited with younger children and there was lots to keep them entertained. Although local play parks and the town of Windermere were not in walking distance to the house, this did not make any difference to our holiday as we would have driven with the children anyway. Brockhole park and estate being a great local spot for the family. The access to the local health spa was a great addition to the house.

A wonderful home in the heart of the village of Appleby. The house is charming and quirky and the decor gives a homely feel, the kitchen is equipped with everything you might need and there are lots of family games and toys to keep the children entertained. We stayed as four adults and 2 children, all stairs have safety stair gates fitted and the house is very child friendly. The hot tub was enjoyed by all! There is no private parking but always spaces outside the house (3 hour parking disc required) or at the swimming pool centre which is very close, so not a problem at all. Lovely walks and great kids play area just across the road. Coop and Spar nearby and many local pubs and tea rooms. Host was very friendly and responsive and dealt with any queries promptly and efficiently. Would 100% recommend to stay at this property and would absolutely return. We loved Appleby and have even been checking out the local properties for sale! A perfect few days away.

We loved the house and the village itself was just beautiful and very quite, which was what we wanted. Jonquil was a very inteteresting lady to talk to, about her life experiences, and she had fresh flowers around the rooms for us which was lovely😍 We would both definately go back again, just what we needed for a very relaxing weekend. The local pub and restaurant within walking distance were also lovely, fabulous food and very friendly locals 😋👌Very beautiful walks in the woods around and stunning views of the viaduct and hills. ❤️

Great stay here for work and was close to everything we needed, the surrounding area is beautiful. For I was very helpful and friendly and would recommend to anyone staying in the area :)

Every effort made to make a comfortable stay. Extra soft blankets, soft linens and comfy beds. Lovely old building with original features. Very clean with everything needed. Lovely sun room downstairs. Very sweet little cluster of homes, with a path up to a hill for walking. Could hear sheep in the field in the morning. Interesting plants growing around the cobble stones and old wall. Very helpful host. Only draw back was the road (which we were aware of when booking) didn’t affect my sleep but you could hear & see the cars. Would stay here again and would recommend.
