We had a great stay! Would definitely stay here again. The hosts were quick to respond and proactive to communicate other information during our trip. This was a peaceful location, yet close to Springfield for venues and restaurants.

Lillian's airbnb was AMAZING! She was very communicative and when I asked about the weather, she was quick to respond. Despite the weather canceling the plans my friends and I had made, Lillian made sure to give many different recommendations that we tried! The house was very comfortable and homey. Despite it being small, it was beautifully decorated and we found something new to comment on each time. I could not recommend this airbnb enough for those who want to get away!

Cozy cabin is an accurate description of the place we stayed for a few days. While I wouldn't want to arrive after dark, any difficulty has more to do with the back country roads and relatively remote setting than anything else, which for us was a plus. The cabin was as advertised, and we didn't lack for anything we needed or expected. The shower was strong and hot. The coffee provided was robust. The setting was peaceful and quiet. This would be a great place to stay for day trips through the area.

Our stay here was exactly what we were looking for- peaceful, quiet, comfortable, clean & calm. Easy to locate, close to a lot of delicious food places and attractions. Great communication that was clear & positive!! The location provided quiet from everyday hustle & bustle with beautiful views off the deck. The calm of the James River was just a short walk (steps really) from the house and was just as quiet & peaceful as everything else. We will certainly keep this property on our list for when we return to the area!

Wow, what a place! Definitely a great find. Clean with new appliances and better tgan your average air bnb decor. With two grandchildren in the area this will be our go to place for long weekends.

Absolutely an incredible stay! Marle and Mark were so nice, and even offered to drive out after we heard some suspicious noises (turns out to be a squeaky fan!) even though it was late. They were very easy to communicate with, and made sure we enjoyed the place. They even double checked to make sure we got inside alright! Beautiful place and location if you're wanting something a little local, and cute outdoor furniture. 20/10 stars!

Great place with beautiful surroundings and some very thoughtful touches. The bed is a bit on the firm side, but nice! We enjoyed our stay.

My partner and I stayed here for a relaxing anniversary trip. It was beautiful inside and out. The kitchen was stocked well enough to make several full meals. Ample blankets, pillows, and seating in every room. Visits from both Sully and a neighborhood cat were a welcome addition. Beds were very comfortable. Indoor/outdoor waterfalls were a peaceful, fun addition. We were within 15 minutes from ample grocery shopping and restaurants. The only shower is located downstairs, so keep that in mind if you are planning to avoid the stairs. The bathtub on the main floor was beautiful. If we ever return to the area, this is my #1 spot!
