We were in Amherst to visit family and attend a memorial service and having this beautiful house as our homebase was just perfect! Waking up to the view of the snow covered pond and woods was peaceful and lovely. The house itself is spotless, well appointed with everything we could need as a family, and beautifully furnished and decorated. I appreciate all the little thoughtful touches like night lights in the halls and bathrooms, the electric kettle, and games and activities for the kids. We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat the next time we are in New England!

We had a great stay at Cecile’s. The place is very clean and nicely decorated. The beds are very comfortable! We had plenty of space to gather and socialize. Very close to great takeout places, a grocery store…all the amenities. And the view is beautiful!

We had everything we need and the place was so cozy. We walked the trails and out on the frozen lake. We had a great weekend visiting with our granddaughter in your lake house.

Fantastic spot for a family or friend trip. There was ample room for our group of 6 adults. The home was immaculate with spectacular water views. We even used the paddle boat to explore the pond. We didn’t use the fire pit due to high winds but it is a really cool fire pit for another less windy visit. Looking forward to returning in the summer to enjoy the water.

This was a great spot to relax and recharge for a couple days. Prior to my visit, I stocked up on groceries and did not leave until checkout. It was peaceful to just sit on the deck in the warm weather and watch the ice begin to melt on the river. I would definitely return, even in the winter/early spring as it is a great place to enjoy some quiet and a good view.

Beautiful home...immaculate, comfortable beds and many amenities. No complaints at all. I was extremely pleased how quickly and friendly they were responding to my questions or concerns. Hope to go back again. Very much recommend.

The house was clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and the beds were comfortable. The lake is on the smaller side for NH which means it is probably not a favorite spot for motorboats, so it was quiet and peaceful. Bob was very responsive and friendly.

This home was inviting and comfortable. It felt just like home. Although our trip was cut short for personal reasons, we were able to recharge, relax and catch up with friends in a relaxed space.

The house was nicely located facing a lovely park and lake. The location was excellent and fit our needs perfectly. We hope to return!

Beautiful home with a lovely yard our dogs were able to use to their heart's content. Would 100% stay again.

My two adult children and I stayed here with our two dogs while my wife was having surgery in Boston. The location was great. Car ride to the Longwood medical area was about 25 minutes. The neighborhood consists of single family homes on small lots, not at all fancy but entirely safe as far as we could tell. We were just a few short blocks from a school playing field where leashed dogs were welcome, and other dog-walkers were often on the street in the morning and evening. The house is a bit quirky. There is no seating in the kitchen, but the dining area is very spacious although located down a short hallway from the kitchen. Each of the three bedrooms was more than ample and very quiet at night. We slept well. As we stayed more than a week we were grateful that laundry facilities were present in the basement. Roosevelt was an excellent host and quick to respond to my requests. I would definitely stay in his place again should a similar situation arise.

Great stay at this place! We stayed there a week before Chiistmas and the place had a beautiful Christmas tree and other Christmas decorations around the home. This really made it feel like home. We were able to sit at the fireplace and have a glass of wine and it even snowed that night which totally made the stay feel like a holiday. I would highly recommend this place. It was squeekly clean, sits on the water with great views, and easy to get to.

very comfortable, clean, cozy cabin on the lake. it has everything you could need. the cabin is close to other houses but the neighbors were very quiet and friendly. when the heater didn’t work, George very promptly made sure it got fixed. he couldn’t have been nicer or more efficient. when we left having lost an earbud, George, by some miracle, found it and sent it to us. wonderful hosts!!

We had the perfect stay. The place was beautiful. The scenery was great. 100% will recommend very peaceful.

My family and I had a great stay at Shawn’s place. The house was clean, newly updated, and fit our needs just fine. There was a mostly fenced in yard in the back which was great for the dog and we enjoyed on a nice afternoon. We were pleasantly surprised how close it was to everything. It was 5 mins to the train station and about a 30 minute train ride to north station. Aside from Boston, we found all sorts of things to do in the nearby surroundings including arcades, plenty of restaurants and the zoo. The nearby park, lake, and playground were a big hit with the kids. We would recommend to anyone looking to be accessible to Boston but also have a suburban experience and access to everything MA has to offer. We look forward to coming back!

legitimately on the lake to the point you could technically fish from the dining area. Beautiful view and a nice deck. everything was clean and exactly as it sounds when reading the description. I would absolutely stay here again!

This place is a gem!! It sits in a super quiet neighborhood and close to Alewife metro station for trips into Boston. The house was perfect for our family of 6 (4 teenagers). The house was quaint, clean, and spacious enough for all us to feel like home for a few days. Aimee was super helpful in providing local recommendations for groceries and restaurants. She was also very proactive in checking in with us to see if we needed anything. Super host!! If you are traveling to Boston, this is a fantastic place to stay. Definitely would stay here again if we return at any point.

We flew out as a group of 6 for a friend’s wedding and it was the perfect spot for us! We were within 15-20 minutes of every destination we needed to get to. The house was perfect sized for us, the views were absolutely breathtaking and Amy and Eric were fantastic hosts. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip! Thank you for having us! ❤️

Everything was great peaceful and spacious. It was my wedding week and Marcus & Evelyn were able to accommodate us. My family came from all over the west coast and felt right at home. There was enough space for us everyone and we built special family memories. It was a lot of family’s first time visiting New England especially my elderly grandparents. They felt right at home and were very comfortable. Thank you again for allowing us to build special memories during my wedding week. There is enough space for your family. The property is beautiful, peaceful and absolutely breathtaking. We were able to enjoy our family meals inside and outside. Marcus and Evelyn are amazing hosts. Betsy’s home was wonderful. I had the whole first floor home with private entries and porches. The home is beautiful, it has quality finishes and furnishings. Loved the kitchen, bathroom and the bedroom has a very comfortable bed. Betsy even had the home decorated with a Xmas tree and candles, there was coffee, spices and more in the kitchen. It’s a great place and I plan on returning when I come to the Boston area. It’s an easy walk to the commuter rail that takes you to the North Station. I really appreciate Betsy’s hospitality. Although we were extremely busy during our stay, it was very nice to come back and relax!! We loved the view of the lake and the main bedroom was very comfortable. It was great having a full size washer and dryer as well!! And with the cold mornings, the house was nice and warm. The instant hot water was much appreciated for the shower too!! Our host checked in with us to make sure we didn't need anything while we were there. Very nice and cozy.... The location was perfect for our running around....Will look forward to staying again!!

20 White Pine Knoll was wonderful. We had an extended stay while we closed on our new house. Karen was always responsive and extremely helpful. If we decide to come back to Summer Village, 20 White Pine Knoll will be where we stay! Highly recommended.

Barbara’s place is what I would call a vacation spot. It was quiet except for the fireworks, but all and all I enjoyed the place. It was very clean and cozy. I would definitely be coming back. Thanks Barbara
